whooo! the son of May and Trias has arrived! Whooo!!!
Name: Castus Nusradai
Race: Angel
Class: Angelic Hunter
Weapons:
Bastard's Chains: This is basically a spiked chain outfitted with small dagger-like blades, it can do both piercing and slashing damage. The enchantments wrought into this weapon unleash Castus's pain of never knowing his father. In the forging of this weapon, Castus had a hand, he poured into it the seething hatred he holds for his father. This weapon not only strikes with holy energies, but with flames hotter than that of the depest pits of the Abyss.
Guardian's Legacy: This is a Dire flail with the heads more like a morningstar, it can do both piercing and bludgeoning damage. It was created by the same man who forged Trias's swallow, The Final Judgement, the heads even made from left over materials from the blades. This weapon also not only strikes with Holy energies, but as if touched and guided by Trias's hand, always strikes the weak spots of his enemies.
Equipment:
A small locket, which he keeps in his pocket, which holds a portrait of his mother.
A large Bag of Holding
A small vial filled with dust, no one knows exactly what it is, save Castus and his mother.
Abilities:
Castus has slight Divine Magics due to his angelic nature
Detect Evil: always in effect, undeterred by the spell Undetectable Alignment. This effect can be dispelled, but Castus can create it again as a free action the next turn.
Divine Grace: greater constitution
Angelic Constitution: Immune to all diseases, including magical diseases.
Protection from Evil: Always in effect, identical to the spell as if cast by a sorcerer. This effect can be dispelled, but Castus can create it again as a free action the next turn.
Aura of Courage: immune to fear (magical or otherwise). Allies within 10 feet gain a morale bonus on when dealing with fear effects. Granting the morale bonus is a supernatural ability.
Smite Evil: Once per dayCastus may attempt to Smite Evil. He has a much higher chance to hit, and does quite a bit more damage. (only against evil)
Divine Luck: Has supernatural luck
The Will To Fight On: Even if he is severely injured, and would normally pass out, he continues to fight with an improved strength.
Divine Repost: (Still trying to figure this one out)
Still Spell, Silent Spell: He has learned to cast a select spell without moving (gestures) or silently (or both). Doing this cause the spell to take a bit longer to cast and drains Castus a bit more.
Specialized Against Evil: When fighting evil, he hits harder, faster, and more accurately. Also spells and effects caused by evil creatures have a harder time affecting him
Damage reduction: He takes less damage from every attack on him.
Defiled Angelic Touch: Has a wide range of effects, but can sometimes have adverse effects.
Ultimate:
Heaven's Bastard Son: Castus calls upon the pain, sorrow, and torments of living never knowing his father, and smites his foes with a wave of pure damage brought forth straight from his Soul.
Appearance: Castus is about twice the size of a normal angel, and with his size comes grater strength, and his skin is of silver. Castus's hair is gold, yet dark streaks run through it, the same color of hair as his mother's. Other than that he looks mostly like his father. He is a beauty to behold on normal terms, yet to fearful in combat. Castus has a second set of wings, yet no one knows why, which are normal sized. To this day it is unknown as to why Castus is larger than normal. It has been speculated that it is derived either from his training, or his hate, though neither has been proven.
History: Ever since the day of his birth he has known nothing about his father. Others would tease and taunt him, others would ridicule and shun him. Some would go as far as to beat him within an inch of his life, every day. Ever since he was born he's held a seething hatred for him in his heart. When his mother got fed up with waiting, she left in search of him, to make his father return to care for Castus. Castus was left in the care of an odd man on the material plane whom May had come to know and trust. What she did not know was that this odd man, was Castus's Grandfather, Argus, who revealed this freely to Castus. Once his mother had left, Argus took Castus back to the heavens to train in the ways of the Hunters. Long and hard did Castus train, fueled by a concealed hatred. Once his training was complete, Argus confronted him and asked that Castus best him in combat. Castus tried his hardest, but could not best the elderly man. Argus sent Castus to several of the best Guardians heaven had ever known, but Castus learned nothing, blinded by his hatred. Argus called Castus before him one last time, and told Castus that if he could not best him in combat, he would be stripped of all knowledge of his training. Castus stood stunned, knowing not what to do. He threw his Chains to the floor, and for the first time, he cried. Argus knelt by his side and said to him: "You have passed by test, you have gained knowledge of war, fueled by hate. But here today you have learned what your father took many millennia to learn, Violence is not always the answer." From that day forth, Castus left the heavens in search of not only his father, but his mother as well.
