Eh. I don't really like their sound. Nothing special. They're played out on MTV, The Radio, Peoples houses, Cars driving by my house...agg. Come to think of it, they drive me crazy. I hear their stuff EVERYWHERE.

Actully alot of people dislike them.

I think they are an above average band. Faint, In the end, and crawling are great songs but nothing compared Led Zeppelin, Van Halen etc.

You're about to.
I used to like Linkin Park. About when Hybrid Theory came out.. but now they are just stupid. Look what Chester did to himself. They like changed. Therefore they aren't original. I can't tell you how much hearing bands wail about woman leaving them makes me mad. It's plain stupid. Real music is: Metallica, GWAR, Rammstein, ICP(others i'm just tired).

LP is pretty good. Hybrid Theory was awesome, Reanimation, well sucked. I heard Meteora was good, and I might get it. But I prefer a number of bands to them. They still are pretty awesome.

Sadly.... SADLY.... if you "sadly" like them.... then you dont like them.... you cant not like them and like them.... there's no such thing.... its either yes or no....

i got interested in Linkin Park when i heard their song, Crawling.... back in mid 2001-late 2001.... my friend had downloaded it, and not too long after i bought their first record and they became my favorite band... then in the summer of 2002, i bought their (arguably) second record: Reanimation. and the in early 2003 i bought their third record: Meteora. And Mike Shinoda became my favorite member. My favorite song from Hybrid Theory is A Place For My Head, and from Reanimation its ENTH E ND, and from Meteora it would happen to be Numb. I like them because their music has a vibe that is very good, and Chester and Mike are good vocalists, and when you combine 2 vocalists and a DJ, an awesome drummer, a good bass guitarist, and 2 electric guitarists.... you get a good mixture of Music. I like all their albums, alot, but 3 songs just seem to click more with me than others

Meh, I am not particularly a fan of their work. But i have nothing against them.

As for having a remix CD as their second release album. Check out what Nine Inch Nails have done! Greatest band ever, and of the almost 40 CD's i own of theirs, only 5 of them are actual originals. Although most of the singles/remixes have some original works. Mmm.. like the sexy compilation between Richard D. James and Trent Reznor. Now there's a musical orgy if you ask me.

Anywho, Linkin Park is alright, but I Prefer other music myself
