But if they mass Zerglings to combat your Zealots, what will stand in the way of the all mighty Carrier fleet?

lings really suck

2 shots form zeolaot and they splatter

and carriers really suck

they cost WAY too much
only in quite late game or when you have minerals to waste do i ever build them

i prefer jsut mass rgoons

mass archon is also good, (not against terran)

Actually, zealots need 3 hits to kill a zergling. So 4 lings > 1 zealot = lings own zealots in early game. Mass goons can be countered by mass lings, tanks or zealots + goons + high templar.

If he makes ling then u make archons.

Protoss ground forces are pretty pathetic vsing ling

4 lings = dead zealot

2 cracklings or 3 lings = dead dragoon

10-12 cracklings (send 1 or 2 in at a time) = dead reaver

1 ling/crackling = dead hight templar

the only real way to combat lings is archons

and they get in each others way

draggons just suck against lings

reavers cane ling butt

high tempalr suck against everything, only good for sneak attack and defence

the best way to combat lings is air (i think thats pretty obvious)

Protoss air is easy to counter as zerg, except corsairs. A mix of archons and zealots will own zerglings tho. Cannons rape lings too. Thats why zerglings are useless in ZvP mid game.

High templar do not suck. High temps are a must in mid-late game vsing any team really!

High templars do 112 damage, thats more than a siege tank. How the hell do they suck?

Exactly. But units CAN dodge the psi-storm, but will get hurt, no doubt. But it hits multiple units, so it is kinda better than the tank. But i prefer the tank as defence.

I dont really care about defence, the enemy wont get the units to attack if im offencive enough.

I disagree, because their is a counter for everything no matter what the units are.
Carriers will be owned by Storm, Dark Swarm (Hydra Combo), and theres lots more.
Zealots MaelStorm followed by Psi Storm, Plague and Lurkers, and more..
I'm really tired so I can't think, but I'm sure there is better counters...

AKA. Im an 'all terran' player @ the moment. Could u give me some tips on when i should attack & what with?

That is kind of hard to explain, just attack throughout the entire game and use the terrain. The timing of attacks and the different counters u should just learn from experience or analyze replays.

I know your asking AKA, but you should always attack with mixed units and you should attack whenever you have the chance, the more pressure you put on your enemy the more chances you have of him slipping up or panicing.

Yea. No worries SmashBros.Pro i usually take too long to attack. Now im going with AKA-47's strategy of attacking with 12 rines & 2 meds asap when vsing zerg.
I also read Ryu's strategies, and now i dont like vsing terran coz of the stalemate and the 'maybe need' for BCs.

Terran vs Terran tends to be a slow containment MU, some ppl find it boring. As for the M&M's, watch out for lurkers and sunkens (if he has 4 sunkens outside his base when u have 10 marines, dont attack him), how to attack these with M&M is something u have to learn from experience.

No, contain them and drop. Cliff drop expansions and mass drop their bases. An alternative is to use wraiths + tanks, then u could try to hit-and-run their workers, but use tanks to contain them while u expand.

Late game will be won by the player who can afford the most BCs and tanks.
