Unique Gloves: Tysons Boxing Gloves

No Weapon Only (you can't wear a weapon)
+5 to all skills
+120 to minimum damage
50% increased attack speed
Adds 1-2 fire damage
20% life steal
+10 to Max damage for every ear you have in your inventory
+.01 to all resistances and Increased attack speed for total level fo ears (eg- 2 lvl 60's ears= %1.20 increase to attack rating and all resistances)
+40 attack rating for ear your enemies have in their inventory

Why is it people don't have enough creativity to suggest _creative_ and _balanced_ items, based on a theme or idea, rather than posting ridiculous over powered items with 100% this and that, or +7 to all skills?

Tiresome.

When you equip this item you get a whole new skill tree section from which to learn new spell abilities. Items that add new skill sections are pretty rare but not so rare that you will never find one.


Absorbs Undead Souls: means that whenever you kill an undead monster this weapon will absorb its soul. It'll show a little animation of the soul being sucked into the weapon. The more souls you have the more experience you get from killing an undead monster

I think if we have an uber item, the requirements should be astronomical, like lvl 99 and 400 strength 100 dex. then people would have to waste all their stat points so they could use it.

I like the absorbs souls idea. Would make a neat visual effect. However, I think making it increase experience isn't that great a result. Might as well make it say '+10% experience' etc. Maybe make it regenerate health and mana by absorbing souls?

Thought the skills and lightning absorb were a little too high. Made the Vit bonus same variation as the Energy bonus. Also gave it the same physical damage as a D2 Vortex Orb. Raised the level a bit, for those bonuses. Also, in case you missed it, the name modification is a reference to Lucifer. :D

I call it circle of life because life is the cycle of birth through life to death, and it makes undead stay dead. The item class 'Deathcap' comes from the idea that fungi live on dead organic matter, and deathcaps are a kind of mushroom.

I gave it the base defense of a D2 'Sky Spirit' helm, plus %100 Defense, this makes the numbers make sense, and I thought the defense on yours was a bit high for a helm.

Changed some of the mana stuff to life, because this is a life themed helm, but left some mana regen in.

Holy word would be a Priest skill (normally) that works like Static Field, except only versus undead.

yeah new name seems more fitting :) i like the lightning absorb though and as for the other changes they are cool raising the lvl of the item i wanted to make it higher than i posted but was not sure if it was worth it... but as you have raised the lvl of the item then maybe you could have kept the lightning absorb %

I thought 10%-20% was a pretty decent level of absorb, without making all Sorceresses pretty much immune to lightning. In D2 anyways, lightning enchanted bosses are one of the big dangers, and since this is bound to be one of the high end sorc orbs, most sorcs will eventually have it.
