I was able to log in after so many years lmao good because I certainly wouldn't've have used the old email anymore.

And I recalled some names, the name Cortalos certainly is familiar. I browsed through some old posts. it's like a museum here but it also brings me to old memories of my being younger , when I could have made better choices with my life and I don't mean gaming it was fine and pleasant here, just with career and everything around, just saddens me that we are not 2009 or before, I was around teen years then. Maybe I miss also the emo years, the hairy female genitals, etc. But we were not snowflakes look at them now. At the same time I don't like where the world is going into more conservatism, not my thing, not what my happy years were about.

I actually enter because when I was into SC2 I made some screenshots of achievements like my stats, highest leagues and so on. But of Wacraft III - nothing, I started using Way Back Machine to try to track when I first made my Bloodmage icon in 2006 but impossible to find it. I was able to enter some ZOTAC cups, now the ESL does not exist either but I just don't have any track record of any account I played. I was able to use WBM to go to some oldWar3 accounts but found no page and certainly not my bloodmage account. I found some links and timelines of what I did thx to here.

As for me, I was Darkmage, Mystic Sorcerer global mod of War3 forums ' 07, I won't forget how I started War3 playing 3v3 RT on Azeroth, we made few gathers with members here back in those years.

Then went more competitive with tourneys in war3, I enjoyed both making stories with the editor and playing melee competitively but I was never only one/

Then SC2 came in 2010 I did post some about it here, it became my game for like 10 years when they said they stopped development in 2020 or 2021. Again never reached GM, was like Master like.

Horribly designed races like Protoss shenanigans and some like Theroy/Theory? (not to be confused with another currently pro player from SC2) would use maphacks on this ez race.

Thought they would make another big thing like Stormgate but I burned over 200$ for such a failure, thanks goodness im not from the one who paid 1000$ to get their name in Credits, only for the game to soon shutdown ROFLMAO. RTS is \o/ I will just make mods and stories with SC2 editor or so, I enjoyed doing such stuff temp worked for AAA but they are crappy management and uncertain jobs.

Honestly can't understand how/why this site is still around. I've even looked into trying to acquire these forums back from the owners before, but they wanted something absurd like $20,000 USD LOL

I think with social media this site permanently got hit HARD. Sites like these don't really serve much of a purpose anymore unless they're backing some sort of product or selling a service where documentation is needed. Lots of IT support vendors use forum-like platforms nowadays. Casual chat forums are so emo '00s era, like you said.
