Well. Well... well... maybe because it you should never be building 3 at a time, you should be spewing them out with 1 larva.

Counting the build time it is possible to build at least 2 drones at a time even if u spawn them as soon as the larvaes appear.

BattleCruisers have 6 Supply. Let's say we make 3 BattleCruisers.
18 Supply.
Marines have 1 Supply. Let's say we make 18 Marines. 18 Supply.

18 Marines > 3 BattleCruisers

(50 Ore each)
3 BattleCruisers would cost 1200 Ore, 900 Vespene
(40 Ore, 300 Vespene each?)

18 Marines are far cheaper then 3 BattleCruisers.
