Think Bf needs a chat room?

I do....it would make flaming oh so fun....and not to mention we could actually talk in real time.....Giving the mods power of course, to ban anyone from the chat with simply the push of a button.

I think its a plus.....after all, they added that welcome screen.

mhm....then i guess there more bs on these forums that you have to put down than meets the eye. Anyway, some people dont like giving out their aim handles, not to mention it maxes at 200. here, you could talk to all of bf's thousands of members without fear of a buddy list.

A chatroom outside the forums could work, but having one implemented inside isn't really a good one because 80% of the users would rather use the chatroom instead of the forums.

In Staredit.net, there is a semi-thread-chat that wouldnt be so distracting. lts a ShoutBox, in which you can 'Shout' out. It's always at the bottom, and you can say anything you want [As long as it's appropriate]. The shout box is always visible, but l agree with Amantis.

A shoutbox is an excellent idea....and chatroom is not. People would probably use it more than the forums......

I know of a lot of message boards with thier own IRC channels within the forums, people use em all the time. It doesn't stop from posting however, and actually incourages it more.
