How people enjoy listening to, let alone NOMINATING, these so called "artists" is beyond me. There needs to be more of the classic rock these days.

If Eminem is not true rap, what is? Everyone in the hip-hop/rap music industry respects him and acknowledges his lyrical genious. I have listened to his CD's for hours, really listened to the words, and some of the things he does is incredible. He his true rap.

i know there is a metal grammy but i don't know who won it... i think it was LP or some dumb band not worthy of the "metal" name.

i am more of a H.I.M slipknot korn mortal treason and murderdolls fan but i still do like some eminem and 50cent, but those rock bands are never in the grammies (except korn). mostly because they choose to keep their own stuff and not gone mainstream. bands like them, like most metal, never go mainstream and are never in grammies. but i still think the best new album grammy thing will prob go to outkast's new album(s) speakerbox/lovebelow. lp shouldnt get a metal grammy, but shoudl deserve the regular rock grammy. i love lp but they are not worthy of metal titles yet. h.i.m is fairly new and maybe they should a metal grammy (love metal rules) his infernal majesty is awesome. usually for the rock grammy stuff bands like goodcharlotte or the ataris somehow end up winning.
i dont even think the grammies are fair. most rock bands stick to their own stuff while all hip-hop bands sell out their stuff and do what other people want them to do-therefore getting more recognition just because the better bands dont wanna be know to the whole public. they stillsell albums and stuff yeah but they dont wanna have real big campaigns like the hip-hop bands. the grammies focus more on the hip-hop bands more anyway.

Ive never watched the grammys its point less the awards are worth a bout 2 squid. Most of the bands nominated are shit... well thats the grammys for ya
