Should BattleForums shrink its index by using sub-forums?

Well I don't think that is such a good idea. Besides, you can always subscribe to your favorite boards, and use User CP or the navigation bar on the bottom to redirect easily .

The deeper the threads are from the index, the harder it is to spider and the less likely they are to grab the links first. Spiders spider all the links, like the Yahoo! Slurp Spider, but making it hard for the spider to see the links doesn't improve it.*
