Bush was "openly" concerned about catching Bin Laden, however, after 9/11 there was a transition in our immediate enemy. All of a sudden, Iraq was the focus of our concern. So now, Bush just says every few monthes that they're still searching for Osama, and then leaves the subject alone. He's busy getting Haliburton, the Iraqi oil.

And there is definitely something about those Pentagon tapes. The fact that the FBI confiscated the tapes and have never been seen again (but apparantly not on the internet), really strikes a chord with me.

I'm liking this bastardsword guy. Some solid information. However, the plane only hit a section of the Pentagon. A structure like that is pretty hard to make completely collapse without destroying all key stress points of the building.

Well no, just if the plane ran into either side of the framework, it would eventually collapse one way or another, because of wind, or whatever the cause might be. With the given side of the structure gone, the other side would gradually continue to proccure more weight onto it, until it became to weak, and fell over.

How do you think blacksmiths change the shape of their weapons? They heat it up, not when it becomes molten, but when it is still a solid. Then they hammer away at the weakened metal.

Q=mc delta T. Temperature of metal increases. Temperature increases to the point of weakening for the metal. Metal bends and building collapses.
