Actually, Emo is more like Breaking Pangea, Dashboard Confessional and Thursday.

My Chem, Panic, and Good Charlotte are alt.rock, with older (and apparntly newers) Good Charlotte being more punk.

Have you seriously heard half the songs Hawthrone Heights does?

and chris dont diss slayer u only heard there debut album show no mercy and ur ears cant handle heavy stuff

That was my opinion at the time. I can easily change it as I go up the CDs.

The Sex Pistols are playing in my home town (Vegas) next month.
It is the only show they are doing in America.

Symphonic/Melodic Metal > Death Metal imo.

slayer isnt death metal they r thrash / speed metal but they also influenced alot of death metal ppl cuz they kick so much ass

Well, Death Metal was invented around the same point as Speed.

Death and Morbid Angel were the real classic death metals. Slayer and Possessed played minor roles.
