Merc gear affect

Alright i was just wondering something , im using a fire sorc for pindle bot and stuff i got a lvl 83 barb merc, and i was wondering ...say i equip him with an ormus robe...do the -% to enemies fire resist affet me aswell? or do they just affect his attackes?

The -% will olny affect hostlies.

he doesnt mean himself, he means will the - resist only affect monsters that the merc attacks, or will it affect all monsters.

i dont think it affect all monster if yes u could lame at baal with a gody fire sorc and a merc...

No it wont work. It only works for his attacks, as the sorceress's cold mastery.

Actualy, i read a few sites, 99% of them say that, what ever ur merc has it polish's over to you, i notice that i kill ppl much ezer when i use my merc, a5 merc, wearing 15%cold ormus, with a 5/5 cold facet, grandfather with a 5/5 cold facet and night wing witha 5/5 cold.... that = about -25%/ +30%, so i dont honestaly know the 100% truth, but i think a certran % of the affects on merc works for u too.

hmm.. another q.. .does the merc's mf add on to u you ??? like if u have 300mf and yuor merc have 250 does that mean u have 750 mf ??

No, because first of all 300+250 is not equal to 750....

Your merc will have 550, but u will only have 300.
