hmmm, the differance between a unid shaft and a ethereal shaft, well dumbass, for 1, a unid can be ethereal, and ethereal items usualy giv better stats and or take less stat points to use, a unid item is simply a unique item that hasnt been identified(suposably meening it cant be duped as long as it hasnt been id)well, i hope that answer your noob ass question
