How to get your Annihilus small charm

1) Have a bad ass character that is not a wimp in the 'new' Hell level
2) Make a Hell level game and camp in it
3) Check your message log every now and then. Diablo Clone will eventualy come out
4) Hope to God you can find and kill the 'sumbitch

You may have to wait a while, I imagine SOJ's will quickly be in short supply.

I've found him a few times, all the time i was just doing act 1 hell. I would start in the cold plains and work my way through killing everything. After doing tristam I would then head back to town and then it would say "Diablo walks the earth" I would then head out the cave right outside town and there he is, everytime.
From what I understand, you have to be in the game for about 15 minutes maybe. And killing things helps atleast so far for me, maybe its just luck.

there's nothing you can do to make him come, it is competely random. I have played for 30 minutes in 1 game until he came out also, i made a game and immediately he came. Also, sojs are not proven to be the reason he spawns, so far the pattern is just completely random.

If its random....Then don't sell SOJS. Keep them. I don't know what's the purpose of selling them anyways.

you have to wait for so many soj's to be sold, then when 200 are sold the d2 clone appears to the nearest deamon. Usually in Stoney Field

The Diablo Clone spawns exactly in the area where there's the Super Unique Monster that is nearest to you. Or simply in the area you first go, in which there's a Super Unique Monster.

Two examples?

Yesterday I got Annihilus: the message of the World Event arrived in my game, and I was in the Dark Wood, Act 1 Hell.
When the message came, I ran towards the Inifuss' Tree (where Threehead Woodfist, a Super Unique Monster, would be), and there... a nice surprise:

Today, about 30 minutes ago, I and my friends were into the Claw Viper Temple, and the message of the world event came again: we ran to level 2 of the temple (yes, where Fangskin, a Super Unique Monster, is)... and there... another nice surprise:

This time, I've let my friend take the charm (also because I can't carry two of them with my firesorc ).

Tips 4 defeating DiabloClone: have a necro in the party with high-level Lower Resistance, a Firesorc like mine (about 10k meteor damage and 4k Fireball damage with HIGH cast rate), and a powerful blocker/tank.

With a party like this, DClone dies in about 1 minute.

Oh yes, perhaps it's better than Lower resist, but in these days of playin' LoD I've seen a LOT of Necros with LR, and nearly NO paladins with Conviction... duh.

Well, how many times have u done this???usually i just wait n town for bout 2 hrs..i rlly didnt know u had to go out and start killing..

yeah ... i kinda think itz just a scam from blizzard to get people to sell their SOJs ........ most are hacks and they are trying to get rid of them ..... but i really don't know yet ... i'm in Nightmare ..... and soon to be in Hell ..... so when i get there .. i'll find out for myself.

I found him in Frigid Highlands, where Eldritch the Rectifier is located... lol i didnt get annihilus... and also its completely random, dont' listen to those ****ing nubs who tell u to sell ur SOJs, it's *complete* BS. The damned thing is random.

-EDIT- and oh yes its nice to have GrabIt on when u kill DC. (If there's one for v1.10 that is...)

I just got the charm like 5 mins ago....i would post a screen but i dont know how...all i can say is that hes hard to kill...but i did it with my leve 68 zon in hell....lol
