How To Get Past Server Busy!!

Now I know this may not work for everybody, but it works for a lot of us.

This is from a conversation between me and Teddy from a bit ago..

He came up with the idea, I tried it, I am on at any time of the day that the server is down.

Give it a try

Process:

1. Login on www.battlenetwork.com
2. Goto User CP
3. Goto Edit Options
4. Set "Browse board with cookies?" and "Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)" to No.
5. Browse with www.battlenetwork.com from now on.

Note: You may have to login a few times in order to reach your Edit Options Menu.

duh, you dont get server busy and you dont have to handle the server too busy. Browsing withought cookies is ok, but isnt the best.

I tried the login page, and I tried it Viz's way... From the login page I get "Server too busy yadda, yadda, yadda. Try one of our portals" thing. I tried it Viz's way, and I'm able to browse and post

It doesn't work either way for me. I can only get on when the severs normal.

The servers's never normal for me. Whenever I get on, it's the same thing (since sometime last week). I guess the server just doesn't like dial-up...

I've got another method! It's kind of a "gangster" approach, but it will work First, we go to the server's house. Then, after we're done demanding it hand over its money, we beat on it for a few minutes. It should be more cooperative after that

Seriously, though, we need something to happen with the servers script in how it handles, what?, guests? From what I can tell, a "guest" (or non-logged in member) can browse just fine. I hated just browsing through the Battle Network portal not being able to post until I read this thread...

yeah, take the mod's side. The logon screen is truly the only way to go.

Thanks to that tactic, I had to log in 20 times and out again just to change it back once it started screwing up.

Oh! A warning about not using cookies...

If you use the buttons at the top of the page (under the banner), you have to log back on. In other words, you can't go to your User CP without logging back in

When I browse on battlenetwork, it makes me log in everytime I do anything.
