how long do u have to be here to be considered a forum elder?

IF I recall correctly, you need to be a mod/staff member, and step down. When you do that you become a Forum Elder

In order to become a forum elder, you have to be a mod and be there for long enough to actually freaking help out a bit...and resign.

Hence why I have the silly little green title.

I agree.

A forum elder title should only be given out to mods that have been here for a certain amount of time and did a good job while they were here. You shouldn't be given the title just because you have been here for awhile or have a high post count.
