House of the Dead

im making first-shooter house of the dead and i want the whole gameplay to be cinematic but the shooter gets to shoot ....any ideas on how to do that?

umm...if its in cinematic throughout the whole game i dont think the player will be able to do a dang thing but sit and watch as they get eaten.

i mean have u played the House of the Dead series? well i made it to work like taht by doing trigs;

turn letterbox mode on...
then camera sequence....
turn letterbox mode off in 1 sec...
then shooter gets to shoot all he wants in 7 sec...
turn letterbox mode bac on...
camera
letterbox off
etc....
Only prob is how to always select my shooter without bothering the shooting because when u attack...it switches to my shooter again and not the target

ummm... not quite sure what that last part meant about the shooter problem, try to explain it better plz.
