Try changing it to read only. I'll search for "Wad3".

1. Download and extract that.
2. Create your spray as follows:
- Total decal area (length times width) MUST be less than 10752 pixels
- Length/width dimensions must be multiples of 16 (80, 96, 128, etc)
- Anything transparent should be completely blue (RGB 0, 0, 255)
- File size must be less than 12KB
- File must be saved in 8-bit .bmp format
- The last color in the image's pallette must be pure blue
- If you are using transparency, the ONLY pure blue color should be the last in the pallette (no other pure-blues)

3. Put your .bmp in the directory you extracted the zip to.
4. Run the program.
5. Move the pldecal.wad file that the program creates to your \Steam\SteamApps\user@email\Counter-Strike\cstrike folder.
6. Right-click the pldecal.wad file, click Properties, and make it read-only.

^ The easy way to do it.

Here's how I got mine to work.
1. Download Decal Converter (I haven't tried out this link, look on another thread for the link).

2. In your Cstrike folder delete tempdecal.wad and pldecal.wad AND custom.hpk and (if exists) custon2.hpk files.

3. Run the Decal Converter program, and open up the image you want.

4. Export it to your Cstrike directory.

5. Make a copy of this file in the same directory and rename it to tempdecal.wad.

6. Make both of these .wad files read only (right click, then properties, then check read only).

7. Create a LAN server to test it out.
