im almost 100 percent sure that they found gold ak's in saddams palace or whatnot. so the soldier might wanted a pic or something (lol) but i dont that could happen....

Actually, it was an AK and an SVD Drugunov. I think there was one of each. Both guns are made out of solid gold (except for the obviously wooden parts). They were gifts to Saddam from one of his sons. On the guns is an engraving that says "Gift to Mr. President Saddam Hussein, President of the Republic of Iraq."
