Clearing of the asylum/void/OVF ?

In order to generate said positivity amongst the site and it's members and to bring about a "positive environment" I am proposing that we delete all threads in the Void/asylum/OVF (accept maybe the rejuvenating BF ones by chris) to start from scratch.
With this the staff can decide whether they want the void or asylum to still exist and will get rid of all the repetitive threads as of late.

What do you think?

I think that hate and bitter angst is a bad thing, and the Asylum is promoting both of those things. Quite frankly i think the Asylum should be done away with so we can make some real progress, but alas not many on staff share the same opinion, so i'm willing to compromise. I definitely would like to see the end of threads where their sole purpose is to flame/troll, that part of the Asylum irks me.

The Void is fine, it's just a trash can, no one really looks in there that often.

Ya know, when I said "Hey, let's close the asylum for about a month when we put the new rules out to curb all the flaming", you all just stared at me like I was an idiot.

I use the Voting Forum now to get opinions from people.

The Void is our trash can.

And the Asylum apparently is what people want.
