i am getting it trying to run d2 without a cd

You didn't copy the right files.

You have to copy all the mpqs from the cd and the new game.exe I believe and it has to be a full install.

hmm

can you give me a list of all the files i am supposed to have? i only had multi player installed before, so i went on kazaa and dled d2xvideo.mpq and d2xmusic.mpq. what else do i need? thanks
