\\Chapter 1

<Somewhere in the remote wastes of Alaska, circa 2000's, remote weather outpost.>

As Ambrose sat at his monitor, drinking coffee, watching the game, he wondered about his life. It all seemed like a hollow shell after he got out of high school, he was glad to be out of there anyway, though, constantly beat up, and picked on, he just didn't fit in. He had always wanted to be a writer, he'd even written a couple of stories, he just hadn't published them yet. He looked over to see Ashley was asleep. He shook his head and smiled, he wouldn't bother waking her up, she was a heavy sleeper. Nolan was sitting in his office, his boss, he was glad he could hire him, he had feared nobody would, he just had to get enough money for college, then he would be outta here. Ambrose's thoughts were interrupted when he saw a strange wind reading, too fast to be an approaching storm, "What the hell?" was all that escaped his lips. Then, the whole building started to shake.

Ash awoke and Nolan dropped his paper and rushed over to the monitor. "What's going on Ambrose!?" asked Nolan. Then the monitor shut off. Ambrose's face went blank as it stopped. "Earthquake?" asked Ambrose. "In Alaska?" Nolan shook his head. He opened the blinds to see nothing but thick fog outside. "Something weird is going on." he said. He rushed to the closet and immediately began throwing on weather equipment. Ambrose stood up. "Are you going out there?" Ash stood up behind him. "Yep, and you two are coming with me." Just then the power went out. Nolan hesitated and looked around. "Okay, get your things together, looks like we're going to Bear Ridge." Ambrose nodded and began packing his clothes and belongings. As soon as the trio were packed and dressed, Nolan started his truck. Ash hopped in the back, and Ambrose in the passenger seat. As Nolan was backing up he slammed on the breaks, "Shit!" Ambrose looked at him wild eyed. "What happened?" Nolan shook his head. "Do you remember the damn grand canyon being next to the outpost?" he asked getting out of the truck. Ambrose and Ash exchanged glances, and got out as well. As they rounded the truck, Ambrose's breath caught in his mouth as he joined Nolan's side. They were staring down into the blackness of a massive gorge, and the truck was just inches from backing off into it.

"That's strange." said Ash holding her hand over it. "What is?" asked Ambrose, a hint of confusion, and fear in his voice. "There's... there's heat down there. There's some sort of heat coming from down below." As Ash got down on her knees and stuck her face over the edge as did Ambrose. He instantly got a huge wave of heat on his face as well, and something which smelled of burning metal, and, burning flesh. "Okay, let's... let's get going..." said Nolan, backing away slowly. The two stood up. "Yeah... creepy..." They got back in and took off down the snow covered path. They hadn't noticed the strange spider-like creature hop in the back of their truck...

\\Chapter 2

~~~~
Nolan pulled onto the main road, driving slowly. Bear Ridge was a small, quiet Alaskan town, always covered in snow year round. There were only a few vehicles driving by, and only a few residents outside, mainly just gathering firewood or yard work. The snow coming down was almost too thick to see through. Nolan spotted a glowing red sign. 'Foothills Lodge' The downpour was too thick to see through now and he didn't want to risk wrecking. "Okay, we're going to stay here for a night and then we'll call an electrician in the morning." said Nolan pulling into a parking space and turning off the vehicle. He sat back in his seat and sighed heavily. "You want me to pay man?" asked Ambrose, obviously seeing he was very tired. "No, I will. You need every penny." he said getting out.
Ambrose awoke to the ringing of his phone. He picked it up and slammed it back down. "Damn wake up calls." He got up and headed into the bathroom, looking at himself in the mirror. He wasn't a very big man, at just under five nine and just over one-forty, he was pale with blue eyes and dark brown hair that came down below his ears. He put his clothes on and headed out into the lobby. It was a big room, with a large fireplace illuminating it. He yawned and saw a group of people talking near the large flat screen television, he saw one of them holding up what appeared to be a large crab looking thing. "It was latched onto his face and..." was all he could make out before walking up to Nolan and Ash who were sitting on a couch. "Is the power back on?" asked Ambrose. Nolan nodded. "What's going on over there?" asked Ash looking over her shoulder. Nolan shrugged. "They found a guy laying face down in the snow next to our truck, when they turned him over that thing was attached to his face, the police then found him dead, looked like someone had just shot him in the chest with a shotgun, I wasn't there, just what I heard from them." This was strange, but all Ambrose could think about was getting back to work, just last year he was lazy, and lethargic, yet now, he was almost a workaholic. "So when are we going?" asked Ash.
They arrived back to see the whole place taped off and a whole bunch of black trucks and a helicopter outside the outpost, there were men all around the large crater now. The trio got out. "What the hell is going on?" asked Nolan. "Oh, glad you could arrive. You must be the owner of this place." said a heavyset man walking up to Nolan. "I'm Glenn Bogart, glad you could arrive, and you are?" "Nolan Moran. These are my associates Ambrose Connor and Ashley Miller, we run the weather outpost... um, what is going on here?" he asked, with a fake smile. A heavyset police officer then walked up to him and whispered something in his ear. Bogart nodded and turned back to Nolan. "I think it would be best if you came back tomorrow, or, how about just relocating, this place is under quarantine." he said, with a smile so fake Ambrose almost laughed. Nolan didn't smile at all. "Sir... what is going on here?" He asked. "Just leave." Bogart replied, still smiling. "No, tell me, what the hell is going on here." Bogart shook his head. "I... I'm going to have to ask you to leave, Mr. Moran. Leave now.. or there will be trouble." Ambrose noticed a group of police officers watching them. "Nolan, let's just go." said Ambrose. "You're being shut down." he said. "Leave." "My work here isn't finished." replied Nolan. "Let's go." retorted Ambrose curtly. Bogart's smile disappeared. "It is now."
Nolan stepped back to the truck, climbing into the seat. Ambrose joined him, and Ashley climbed into the back. Nolan rested his head on the steering wheel. "Hey, let's, let's just go back to the lodge." said Ambrose. "I think it's time for a break anyway, not to mention, we can get out of this freezing hellhole, and go back to, well, where it's warm." said Ambrose trying to cheer him up. Nolan started the truck. "You're right, being negative is only going to attract more negative things." As Nolan pulled out, Ambrose felt a presence by the window, like, somebody was there... he just didn't see them.
~~~~

The next day, they arrived back to see, everyone... gone. It was roped off again, with a different color tape. There were investigators everywhere. Ambrose threw up when he nearly tripped over a human head. "Officer, what the hell happened here?" Nolan asked a nearby police officer. The officer shrugged. Some people came in and wiped the place clean, there were over a dozen bodies, I'm glad you all weren't here.

Over the next few days, people began dissappearing, from both the town and surrounding towns. There were also strange animal sightings. Ambrose figured it was just bears, but he wasn't sure. It didn't feel right. Something was strange, dark, with the stench of death in the air. Ambrose managed to get a job driving log trucks back and forth in and out of the city, and it was confusing, very confusing, since it seemed like it was night all the time. His boss was a strange man who Ambrose only knew as Hank, a large man with long hair and a thick beard, he kind of reminded him of a bear. The two only talked when Hank was giving him a job to do, not to mention he was very rude. Ambrose hated being in his presence, but it was the only job he could get. Hank had just finished berating an out of towner when he interrupted Ambrose as he was getting into his truck. "Hey, new guy!" Ambrose had hoped he could get away with the load he had, and avoid Hank all day, it was too good to be true. "Get over here!" Ambrose slinked back out of the truck, slamming the door. As Ambrose approached he stood there with his arms crossed, looking back and forth between him and the truck. "You call that a load?" he asked. Ambrose shrugged. "You're gonna get more firewood, you understand... you've only been with us for..." chills ran down Ambrose's spine... someone was behind him... standing there, but Hank didn't seem to notice. Ambrose always had that trait. Everytime he sensed someone was coming down the hall to his bedroom as a child, there had always been either his mom or younger brother, standing there at his door. Whenever he had sensed someone was there, he was always right. Hank was snapping at him now. Ambrose quickly nodded fakely, and turned around. Nobody was there... but... there was, they were still standing there, but, nobody was there. He then slowly reached his hand out. "Hey! Turn around." As his hand touched something that wasn't there... he screamed and fell backwards. "WHAT THE HELL!" was all that managed to escape from his mouth. There had been someone... or something there. He noticed twigs breaking, and footprints appearing in the snow, but nothing there. What he had felt had been warm, and clamy, not human skin... it was... blending in with its environment. Hank had seen it too. "Okay, i'm gonna kill that rat sonovabitch right now!" said Hank grabbing an axe. Ambrose shook his head. "No.. no don't do it." Ambrose grabbed the axe but Hank whirled around, hitting him right in the nose. Ambrose's nose began bleeding. "You asshole!" Ambrose retaliated by kicking Hank right in the face. Hank stumbled back holding his jaw, dropping the Axe. Ambrose then got to his feet and reeled back about to hit him, but the large man caught his fist and hit him square in the chest, sending him to the ground. Ambrose got back up but the man tripped him and kicked him right in the ribs. Ambrose screamed in pain. "Stay down, you little wimp." Hank grabbed the Axe and disappeared into the forest. "I hope you get what you deserve!" said Ambrose, still lying on the ground, holding his broken nose.

~~~~
Hank walked through the ankle deep snow, the massive trees casting large shadows across the ground. He held his axe tight in his hands. Then, he heard something that sounded like 'purring' or 'clicking'. He whirled around, backing into trees, and holding his axe tightly against his self. "Where are ya!" He screamed. Now he wasn't so confident. He was scared... really scared. He heard the noise again. "Sh... show yo...yourself!" He said. Whirling around again. Then he heard a tree branch cracking and something landing heavily behind him. He screamed and ran, dropping his axe and running wildly into the woods. He then tripped over something large. He turned around to see one of his workers, flayed, his skin removed, and blood everywhere. He screamed louder than he had ever screamed in his life. Screamed until something threw him into the tree behind him.
He coughed up blood as he fell to the ground. "What do you want from me!?" he screamed through sobs. He looked all around, holding his head, and screamed some more. He was cut short as he was hit again. This time with something metal, and across the head. He screamed and got to his feet. "I'm not going down without a fight!" he screamed. Then he felt something hit him hard in the chest. Then he was hit again from the side, sent flying into a tree. Whatever was attacking him, there were more of them... there was atleast two. He was hit again, he heard a sickening crack as his arm snapped backwards. He screamed, and then it all went dark as he felt something stab through his chest. The last vision before he died was a large metal 'pole' appear out of nowhere.
~~~~

Ambrose was running faster than he ever had. He scrambled into the driver's seat of his truck and quickly began trying to start it. "Come on! START!" He screamed as he heard footsteps approaching. "You motherf**ker!" Ambrose heard Hank's voice... but he realized it wasn't Hank... he had heard him scream, he was sure the whole town did. Suddenly the truck started and Ambrose sped off, forgetting to close the tailgate as his haul spilled out behind him. Ambrose caught a glimpse of a shape appear behind him in his mirror, and he floored it. The shape had just been standing there, appearing out of nowhere, just standing there, staring at him as he sped away. Then.. out of nowhere, a bright blue orb erupted from its shoulder and impacted with the back of the truck, sending it flying off the cliff.

~~~~
~~~~

When Ambrose awoke he had been asleep for days, as the snow was piled up atop the truck, which was lying on it's back. Ambrose felt dried blood on his head and two deep gashes across his forehead and nose. He crawled out and got up onto his knees, he realized his leg was hurt bad, possibly broken. He was able to put a little pressure on it. He got up and scurried his way up the hill. More dead bodies. As he managed to hobble his way to the nearest gas station to ask for directions he noticed the gas station was deserted, and all was quiet... save for a constant eerie 'breathing' sound. As he approached, looking for any sign of someone, he knocked on the door, first lightly, then heavily. He moved on... searching for somebody... anybody... nobody in sight, at all.

~~~~
Ambrose continued, going by buildings, knocking a couple of times, entering some that were open, then continuing onwards. Mostly everyone was gone. He stopped to ask a few solitary civilians, but they simply looked at him with their wild-eyed stares like animals and ran off, driven insane, but by what? He finally managed to find an old woman, who seemed to just be sitting there on a bench, staring off into space. As he got closer he realized she was blind, her pupils an eerie white. "Ma'am, do you have any idea what's happening?" he asked. She continued to stare off onwards. No use. He continued to the lodge
\\Chapter 3
~~~~

The Predator Mother Ship was quiet. The Leader Yautja was a blooded warrior, he had fought the Hard Meat before, just not in this quantity. He saw the screens showing hive break-outs all around Earth, on the Continents the humans called America, and Europe. The screens viewed human soldiers fighting the hard meat in both desert, jungle, and tundra environments. There were hundreds of hives, something must have been releasing them, but what. A large yautja with an angular bio helmet, designs carved into it, approached him, handing him a data pad. The warrior pressed a button and he saw a 'W' symbol appear on it, and when he translated it, it said, 'Weyland Industries were the ones responsible for releasing the hard meat from the subterrain prisons. "Cjit!" growled the warrior, throwing the PDA on the floor, smashing it into bits. The hard meat now had to be stopped using military means, the hunt was impossible now, now... they had to go to war. The first strike team of roughly a dozen soldiers had been sent to the area marked 'Iraq', where an Alien hive had sprouted up in a desert down.

~~~~
Corporal Nathan Zimmer fired away at the strange new creatures with his M4 Carbine. The first ones were like oversized scorpion type things, were much larger, but these new creatures could turn invisible, and they had ranged weapons. The rounds ripped through the stomach of one of the hunters, the spray of green gore littering the ground. Zimmer finished it off with a knife to the spine, or where he figured it would be. "Sir! There are roughly eleven more!" said Private JP Lissome to the Sergeant. "Good, I want a clean sweep, we need to toast the rat shit sons of bitches before the company shows up. Mr. Weyland isn't getting his 'specimens' like he asked." said Sergeant Lawson. "Give 'em hell marines." As the squad of five advanced the sun bright in the sky beat down on him, and toasting his gun, making it hot. As they moved into the village they were attacked by another one of the hunters.
It dropped down from the top level, fragging Private Gibbs, "Open fire!" yelled Lawson. They took the beast down quick, a hail of gunfire was no match for its armor. "Damnit! Gibbs!" yelled Lawson. "C'mon sir, here they come!" yelled Zimmer, shouldering his weapon, aiming down the sight. Half a dozen of them or so uncloaked several meters in front of them. As they did so, Zimmer's heart skipped a beat. "You have got... to be f**king shitting me..." said the sarge. His heart skipped yet another beat as a huge ass one with a damn axe uncloaked infront of them. "What are you waiting for... fire FIRE!" Yelled Lawson as the team opened fire. They were quick, lighting fast, running and swinging from rafters. One of them managed to lodge two into Private Wilson, and Zimmer caught a spear-like projectile in the shoulder. He screamed and fired in the direction it came from, on the rooftops somewhere. Another one hit Lissome in the leg. "We've got a sniper!" yelled Zimmer as the predators approached the now four man team. Lissome tried to run, but the nearest predator picked him up and benched him. Lawson managed to take it down before it could rip him in half, but another predator moved in and split his skull with his wrist knives. "Shit! The Sarge is down! Zimmer, you're in charge now!" said Lissome. Zimmer got on his tac com. "Second squad move in!" The five man back-up squad moved in, amongst them Hendrickson, a heavy gunner with an M60E4. "Open fire" Zimmer said as Hendrickson growled, "Eat this!" he opened fire with all the rest, until six predator bodies littered the alley. Krowe, the Corpseman, was the only casualty, suffering a head injury from the mysterious spear-like object that had pierced Zimmer's shoulder. The Sniper was still out there, prowling the rooftops. Zimmer counted the bodies, six, and from the looks of it, the Axeman was as well. Then, out of nowhere, the massive Axe wielding hunter appeared behind Hendrickson and impaled him with the sharp end of the weapon, throwing him aside like a ragdoll.
They opened fire, but were unable to kill the massive Yautja before it layed waste to four of their squad members. Zimmer, Lissome, and the remaining Private, Thompson, the comm tech, formed up. "Okay, as you know, we've still got a sniper up there to take down." said Zimmer. "Who knows how many more are out there? It could be like ten to one!" Zimmer grabbed Lissome by his collar. "I need you to focus devildog, we need to focus and take this thing out, we can beat 'em, hoo-rah." Thompson nodded. "Now move out, Thompson take point."
The trio moved down a side alley. Sure enough, they were shot at. Zimmer managed to avoid some near fatal shots to the leg as did the other two. Zimmer, still moving, fired up, along with the other two. He caught a glimpse of it on the rooftops but only hit the metal, the bullets ricocheting off. "Keep moving!" yelled Zimmer. They turned a corner, the beast was still shooting at them. Their bullets again missed their target, save Lissome's who actually hit, green blood seeping down to the ground. "Don't let it escape!" As they rounded another corner, Lissome spotted a ladder, and began to ascend, followed by Zimmer and Thompson. As they arrived at the top, they spotted four more of them. Two looked like generic ones, with the strange wrist augmented blades, and shoulder cannons, one of them was the sniper that had been stalking them, sleeker armor, with spikes in a row down the center of its bio helmet, and a hunter with thick armor, and a large cylinder shaped object attached to its back. Just then, a chopper appeared, and the gun opened fire, but then was taken out by one of the Sniper's what appeared to be a 'Shuriken', which returned to his grasp. That is when the two other predators opened fire on Zimmer's team, and the pilot came over his tac com. "Corporal Zimmer, we have identified the one with the package, it's a bomb, you need to take it out!" Zimmer noticed the 'W' on the helicopter. "Open fire!" yelled Zimmer, dodging the plasma projectiles fired by the two, and as the sniper proceeded to follow the bomb carrier.
Zimmer took out one, and Thompson took out the other with a few blasts from his Shotgun. The trio pursued the extra-terrestrial duo, with Lissome in the rear, his S12 out and ready. As they finally cornered the duo on the corner of a building. Zimmer ordered Lissome to take out the bomb carrier. He took out the Sniper instead, firing at his head, blasting his skull into peices. "Damnit! I mean the other one!" But before Lissome could open fire the Bomb Carrier threw a Shuriken like device as well, slicing Thompson in half. "Damnit! Open fire!" Lissome then scored a direct shot at the predator's torso, blasting him off the rooftop. This is when Zimmer, as he peered over the edge, noticed the cylindrical object light up on the predator's back. "Oh no..."
"GET TO THE CHOPPER!" yelled Zimmer, scrambling aboard, helping Lissome as well. "GO! NOW!" Yelled Zimmer to the pilot. The chopper sped off into the horizon, just barely escaping the blast, which in turn decimated the entire village.
"Sergeant Zimmer?" said the Pilot. "You and Lance Corporal Lissome are being re-assigned..." Zimmer held up a hand. "I'm a Corporal." he said. The Pilot shook his head. Not anymore, I got word you've been promoted, congratulations, Sarge. While the general was a little displeased the entire town got destroyed, it was abandoned anyway. So, you're being re-assigned near "Bear Ridge, Alaska" you should be there in several days, there's a quarantine issue going on, they say it may be linked to the previous incident." he continued. "Anyway, good luck..."
\\Chapter 4
~~~~

Leader cursed as the screen went blank. An entire strike team of their warriors had been wiped out by inferior 'Ooman' numbers? Leader shook his head in disappointment. He ordered the lesser bloods to prep his gear. He decided to join the original three un bloods that were originally supposed to be hunting. They would link up with the eight military personnel positioned around the human town of 'Bear Ridge'. As the ship passed over the small town, he ordered the navigator to stop the ship, put it in hover. He saw the ship stop and activate its cloak. Hopefully this would prevent this ship from crashing, unlike the last one which possessed all of the hard meat seeds.

He approached the drop-pod, he hadn't been in one in several years. He nodded to the other three and they entered. As soon as Leader was strapped in, he felt his pod lurch away from the ship. Soon, the pod crashed into the ground.

~~~~
Ambrose continued on to the outpost. As he made his way around to the back he noticed the door to the storage garage slam shut. He waded through the snow to it, pulling the door open through the snow. As he stepped in, he turned around and closed the door behind him, pulling in some snow with him. He heard footsteps on the catwalk above. He called out, "Who's there!?" No reply. He ascended the steps to find Ashley curled up in the corner, a blanket pulled up over her. Ambrose relaxed, he had feared it was one of the creatures. "Hey Ash, god I thought you were dead." He crouched down next to her, pulling off his coat and wrapping it around her. "Are you okay?" he asked her. She shivered and simply whispered. "They were everywhere... they... they came like beasts from the blackness... with their tails and teeth and claws they grabbed them, everyone." Ambrose hesitated. This didn't sound like, anything like the thing he saw in the woods, it was roughly seven foot, humanoid, with blades coming out of its arms, they didn't have tails or teeth he was aware of. "Where is Nolan, Ash?" Ashley just kept murmuring mindlessly. Ambrose stood up and shook his head. "Don't do this Ash, we can make it." Ambrose had known her all his life, they were practically siblings. Ambrose knew what he had to do. He picked Ash up, putting her arm over his shoulder, he noticed she had a deep gash running down her left leg. "Don't worry Ash, I'm getting you outta here." he said. As they made their way down the steps, Ambrose heard the clicking again.
Ambrose remembered Nolan kept an M9 in the supply cabinet under the stairs. He set Ash down slowly, who continued murmuring, and slowly approached the cabinet, opening it slowly, ever so slowly, and almost as slowly as he had approached it, grabbed the gun and the clips, shoving them into his pockets, then, quickly, he turned around and fired in the direction of the sound, hitting nothing but air. He heard clanging on the upper level. He turned around, aiming up just in time to see the hunter jump down and hit him across the chest, sending him flying into a wall. The gun slid across the floor. Ambrose looked up just in time to see the Hunter draw his wrist blades and uncloak. His armor was black with glowing red lenses. Ambrose raised his arms and waited for death, but, to his horror, something larger, more terrifying had risen up behind the creature.
Ambrose watched in stunned silence as an eight foot monstrosity appeared behind the hunter, its large banana-shape head appearing first and a large tail after wards. The Hunter was facing the creature, also stunned it drew its wrist blades but was too slow, the monster grabbed the hunter by his neck and lifted him into the air, the Hunter kicked his legs but to no avail, the monster drove a long muscular tongue like appendage through the Hunter's head, green gore splatting on the wall behind them. Ash screamed and Ambrose grabbed Ash and ran out the door. He closed it behind him, but the massive beast smashed the door frame, sending the door flying off the hinges.
\\Chapter 5
Ambrose scurried up atop the complex, pulling Ash up onto the roof. Her feet had been just inches away from the creature snapping at her feet. Suddenly, the creature leapt onto the roof in a single jump. It was there, towering over them. It hissed and roared, its faceless maw drooling heavily. With several heavy steps it approached them. Ambrose held Ash tightly. "Just... just go away." was all Ambrose said. As the creature reared back its tail, preparing to strike, it was tackled by one of the hunters. A larger one, atleast seven feet tall, with a rigid mask. The hunter grabbed the stunned alien by its tail and threw it down to the ground, where three other hunters uncloaked. Ambrose's beanie flew off as a helicopter flew by, circling back around and lowering. "Get in!" said an older man, a "W" on the side of the chopper. Ambrose climbed aboard and was greeted by six Marines, one of them 'Sgt. Zimmer' the Pilot introduced himself as Charles Bishop Weyland. Ambrose was stunned. "Wait... the Mr. Weyland? Founder of Weyland industries, holy shit it's a pleasure to meet you sir!" said Ambrose, shaking the man's hand. He motioned for the pilot to take off. The last image Ambrose got before they disappeared over the treetops was that of the four hunters fighting the monster.
~~~~

Leader took a solid tail thwack to the face, sent flying to the ground, holding his jaw. He watched as Celtic and Gill wrestled with the beast, however it was too strong, it threw the duo off of it and fled into the forest. Celtic looked at Leader, who smirked and ran off after the Chopper, motioning for his hunting party to follow. They did so. The Humans would lead them to the hive grounds, and even better yet, they would finally be able to claim the skull of the one called 'Weyland'.

Celtic had not realized that Greed had stolen his ornamental dagger for his own as he trekked along behind the trio, completely confident in his ability to succeed. When their Leader perished, he would be the new leader, and yet, Greed did not realize Gill's envy, which was so powerful that he just might kill Greed to get his place. Favored one of Leader, pfft, he did not deserve such honor as being the preferred one of the Master.

Leader's plan of attack was thought out, planned. They would wait for the humans to get butchered and then they would plant the bomb carried by Celtic, and evacuate. It wasn't a typical warhead, like the self-destruct bomb typically used in hunts, it was an anti-hard meat bomb, instantly vaporizing any living material, sapient or not, in a radius of roughly 3 miles. One had gone off during the fight with the Ooman soldiers in the desert location earlier that week. Leader planned to meet up with the second hunting party there, and together the two would strike joint effectively on two fronts. They may be outnumbered by an obviously stronger foe, so what if the hard meat were stronger, faster, and more resilient than a predator? They were smarter, more intelligent, they would win, Leader knew this. He hoped he was right.

~~~~
"So, where are we going Mr. Weyland?" asked Ambrose. Weyland simply retorted, "To find the single greatest discovery in human history." Ambrose was puzzled. Sergeant Zimmer leaned in to Ambrose. "I wouldn't trust him." he whispered. Ambrose leaned forward. "What's going on?" he asked. "We're going into the cave system that runs underneath these mountains, apparently, the whole mountain is hollow, Mr. Weyland says we're going cave diving." Ambrose shook his head. "Mr. Weyland, I have a friend back there, we have to turn around." said Ambrose, desperate. Weyland shook his head. "Your friend is already dead if you did not find him." he replied curtly. "Why are we going caving?" asked Ambrose. "There is tale of an ancient artifact buried deep within the mountain, I prefer to get to it before somebody else does, and I need all of you." he said. "You don't need me, I'm just a weather man." Ambrose replied dryly. "I have also heard you're a great writer." Hopeless, Ambrose turned back. Zimmer leaned back in. "He's lying, we're going on a suicide mission. He's trying to take us directly into the heart of it all." Ambrose knew something had to be done. "Mr. Weyland... I... I know what you're doing, I know what you want. And I'm telling you, you're making a terrible mistake." said Ambrose. He could see Weyland's eyes go distant. He knew what he was doing was wrong. He had to. "I'm sorry." was all he said. Ambrose knew it couldn't be done. No matter how hard he tried, he could never save them. It was already too late. The chopper landed, and the crew piled out, grabbing their gear.
\\Chapter 6
Now here they were, staring death in the face. Ambrose looked down into the dark hole, one of the marines spitting down into it. The Pilot noticed Ash sitting on the edge of the seat of the chopper, a blank look on her face. "Um... sir is she going to be a problem?" asked the Pilot. "No, I won't." Ash replied shortly. Ash got out and joined Ambrose. "You shouldn't come." said Ambrose. "I'm not going to let you go down there alone." she said. Ambrose just shook his head. "I shouldn't be letting you do this." Weyland joined Ambrose. "Trust me, Ambrose, if you help me here, I will get you the biggest opportunity of your career, haven't you always aspired to be a writer?" asked Weyland. Ambrose turned to face him. "How do you know so much about me?" "Ambrose, It is best to let sleeping dogs lie. The nine of us, we're the only survivors, you know this, not only is this our escape, it is a chance of a lifetime." After the other seven descended Weyland positioned himself to drop down, Ambrose stopped him. "I know why you're going down there." Weyland was puzzled. "You, want to capture, one of those... things... alive." he said. Weyland stopped and approached Ambrose. "We can study them, make better soldiers, find their weaknesses, think of how much we can learn from them." Ambrose shook his head. "You're insane, you know that?" he replied with a fake smile. Weyland shook his head. "No, I'm a genius. And if you tell anyone, your part of this deal is forfeit." with that he repelled down into the darkness.
Ambrose repelled down and joined the others, who had lights, and had begun their trek. They came to a narrow vent that descended into the main cave system. "No coming back up that one." said Lissome. "Luckily we're trained to deal with survival situations." replied Zimmer. "I'll go first, I'm the smallest." said Lissome. He edged his way down into the hole, it seemed like he had been down there for hours, before he arrived out of the other end. Private First Class Peterson was next. On the way down, about halfway in, the caverns began to tremor. They stopped. "Peterson, get the hell outta there." said Zimmer eagerly. The next six did it with fluent progression. Until it was Keller's, the Pilot's turn. She was about three quarters of the way down when the hole collapsed on her left leg.
"Aaaaaaah!" she screamed as the thick boulders collided around her leg. "Oh my god, don't worry we're going to get you out of there, hold on!" Zimmer climbed up to the hole. "Okay, now I need you to wiggle your leg, and grab onto my arms." She did so. "Now you need to pull your leg free." "I can't! It hurts!" "Okay, I know it hurts, but if you do not get out of there, the rest is going to fall down on you, and you're going to die, you are going to die, you need to do this!" She nodded reluctantly. "Okay, now, on the count of three. One..., two..., three!" She wiggled her leg and out she came, falling down onto the cavern floor. The boulders came falling out, but more came in their place, blocking up the hole.
"Dammit, now what! Huh, Mr. Weyland!?" asked Ambrose frantically. "Yeah, now we're f**king stuck down here, thanks to you!" Zimmer retorted. Weyland held up his hands calmly. "Don't worry, I promise that by the end of this, you will not regret it. We'll be safe down here." "Not if we starve to death!" Zimmer said particularly. Ambrose had to say it, he had to, but Weyland gave him a glare, as if he knew what he was thinking. Ambrose knew that if they did get out of here, and he said something, his life would be over, finished... but then again... no, he had to keep his lips shut. What if he was right. Zimmer was about to speak up then, tell Ambrose to say it, but he didn't. "I think we should get moving. If they do find a way in, we need to be on the move, constantly. It'll keep our adrenaline flowing." said Ambrose. Zimmer dropped his arms, hopeless. He wanted to say something as well, but he couldn't, not with his career on the line, he would be courtmartialed if he said anything. He was sure of it. As they proceeded deeper into the cave, Ambrose saw a strange shape in the darkness, probably a stalactite. "Hey, Ambrose! This way!" Ambrose looked over his shoulder to see that they were going up into another cavern. When Ambrose looked back, his heart skipped a beat. The shape was gone.
"HOLY SHI...!" Pvt Johnson had almost fallen into a bottomless abyss, which seemed to fall forever, had Zimmer not caught him. Ambrose kicked a rock down into it, and he didn't even hear it hit the bottom. "Wow, that would have been a doozy." said Lissome. They got out their rock climbing equipment. "Somebody needs to place the hooks in." said Zimmer. "I'll do it, I'm the lightest." said Keller. "Your leg is broken." Weyland countered. Ashley sighed and interjected, "I'll do it." Ambrose's face fell. "No... no, here, I'll do it." said Ambrose. Ashley looked him in the face. "I can't be just a burden anymore, I'm tired of being a fifth wheel." she said. "All my life, you have done everything in my place, I can't... I can't do this anymore, so... goddammit, give me those." she said, taking the hooks from Lissome's hand. She got out the pick, and swung forward. Ambrose squinted his eyes as she did, but she did so successfully, she placed the second and third one, and then the fourth and fifth one. When she got to the end, she noticed a strange red, sharp instrument sticking out of the ceiling. It was brownish red in color with strange markings on it. "What the...?" she said. It was here that he pick slid out a little. She had barely enough time to jam her hand into a crevice before the pick slid out of its resting place and she dropped it, as it sailed into the abyss, never to be seen again.
"ASHLEY!" yelled Ambrose, who almost stepped out after her, before he was stopped by Zimmer. "I... I'm fine, just, gotta, swing over..." She swung over to the other side, dropped hard onto her back, holding her bloodied hand that she had apparently broken by jamming it up into the crevice. The others used the hooks to swing their way over with the ropes, and the last object, which Weyland yanked out as he was the last one to pass and shoved it into his rucksack. "Well, hopefully we won't have to do anymore of that!" said Weyland. Ambrose nodded. As they continued down into the cave, he turned to Ashley. "That was a brave thing you did." he said. "But, please, don't ever do anything like that again." Ash just smiled. "You underestimate me too much."
\\Chapter 7
"Hey guys... I found something..." said one of the Privates, probably Peterson. Ambrose followed the voice to find it was Peterson. "What is it..." Ambrose cut himself off to see that Peterson was staring at a wall completely covered in artwork and designs, all of which were so alien to him. Some of the drawings or carvings depicted two alien races locked in battle, others were of the young hunters being marked, and still others were of hunters dying. And then Ambrose spotted one that shocked him. It showed several of the hunters fighting a massive creature with a large 'crown' of sorts with multiple limbs and surrounded by what appeared to be 'eggs'. "What do you think this is, Sarge?" Peterson asked Zimmer. "Some sort of cave painting." he replied, awestruck by it as well. Then Ambrose saw something that looked like a map. It depicted the cave with the layout similar to a sink, with a drain, main chamber, trap, and... an exit! "Hey hey hey... I think I found a way out." said Ambrose as they crowded around him. He pointed to it. "What do you think Wayland?" he asked, giddy, eager to escape. "I think you're on to something. Let's follow the main chambers, hopefully Mr. Connor is right, let's move."
As they continued through, Ambrose saw more of the moving stalactites. They continued and Ambrose got the chills running down his spine that something was with them the entire time, something, or somethings. Ambrose sided with the Sergeant. "Keep that weapon ready, we're not alone." Sarge told this to his Privates, and they nodded, gripping their weapons tighter. Alone the way, Ambrose got separated from the other eight, tripping backwards into a hole. "Ambrose!" Ambrose landed heavily square on his back. "Ow." He could make out eight little heads appearing around the hole. "I'm... I'm fine, really." "I found a way down." he heard Peterson rebuke. As they approached, Ambrose saw a shape out of the corner of his eye. Something was in the lake beside him. Then he saw tentacles, or appendages appear briefly brake the surface of the water. He saw this and quickly backed up into the wall. Ash ran to his side. "What... what was it, what did you see?" she asked. Ambrose couldn't spit out the words, he just pointed at the lake. Finally he spat it out, "Something... is... something is there..." Ash looked but she saw nothing. "Let's get going." she urged. Ambrose followed her but shook his head in nervousness. "Something is with us, I know it."
~~~~

The four hunters continued. Gill was on the verge of killing Greed. He wanted his position. It would be a simple matter to make it appear he was killed by one of the Keinde Amedha. Gill clicked his mandibles with pleasure, and tapped Greed on the shoulder. Gill motioned for Greed to follow him into a quiet portion of the cavern. Greed got the impression Gill wanted to show him something, he followed out of curiosity, neither Celtic nor Leader noticed the other two's absence, so they continued deeper into the caverns, searching for the small group of humans. The trap was set. As soon as Greed had his guard down, Gill leapt forward and disarmed him, then he repeatedly stabbed him in the stomach with his Arm Blades, gutting him. He then stomped thoroughly on his skull over and over again, until his feet were being cut on chunks of bone and his foot was green and slick with his brother's brains. It was done. He clicked with pride and re-joined the others.
Leader was interrupted by Gill, who tapped him on the shoulder. He showed him a Keinde Amedhe Skull, and then the necklace that Greed wore. Leader took it, and sighed. He was a good soldier.

~~~~
As they continued, Weyland stopped to put his 'W' necklace under his shirt and they continued onwards. "I feel a breeze." commented Lissome. Soon, Ambrose felt it too. "Good, they must have been getting close. As soon as they entered the new chamber, Keller screamed in pain. They whirled around about to open fire, but were too late. Keller was lifted into the air by an unseen enemy. Then, it revealed itself. The eight foot black monstrosity from the facility. It roared, tossing the now limp body of Keller off of its tail. As it approached, Sarge's team opened fire, but the bullets ricocheted harmlessly off of the beast's exoskeleton. It roared and approached. Ambrose back up against the wall as it came face to face with him. The creature was then pulled away from him, and lifted into the air by what seemed to be nothing at all, but then a creature uncloaked, and stood before them was one of the Hunters, one with two huge razors on its arms. It roared and kicked the creature off of its blades. The Alien flew through the wall and into another chamber.
~~~~

Gill pursued his prey, roaring like an animal. In the next room, the large hard meat stood up. Like the ruthless human god Sobek, the creature kept coming at him. It tackled him to the ground and scratched at his mask. Gill reared back and kicked it square in the gut. The creature fell back into the wall, and Gill took this opportunity to pull out his dagger. He brought it down at the creature's head, missed and slipped, hitting one of its spines instead, cutting off the tip. The alien roared and back handed him. Gill was sent flying through two thick slabs of solid rock. When he went through the final one, he was sent flailing into the depths of the lake below. The Alien jumped down after him. Gill felt like every bone in his body was broken.

He got up and cracked his neck, pulled off his helmet, revealing his bright orange eyes, and roared. Smiling maniacally. The creature was much stronger and faster than him, but he loved big game. Him and the creature collided, thrashing wildly. Then with one swift move, Gill ducked under the Alien's tail, and sliced it in half. The alien roared, not in pain, as they felt none, but in anger, then in anger, it ran at him. Gill dodged and leapt into the air, bringing his blades down on and through the alien's back. Slicing it into four different pieces. The acid had damaged his blades severely, so he shed them, and pulled out his acid proof dagger. Just as he was about to withdraw the creature's skull, he felt pain fire through his body, and looked down at his stomach to see the large tail spike of one of the Kiende Amedha protruding from it.

The Alien withdrew its tail and Gill fell to the ground with a screech. Lying on his back, he saw dozens, possibly hundreds of Aliens surrounding him. The one that had stabbed him had a different head, it was rigid, with spikes down the middle. This one was the alpha, their leader. It roared in triumph and the others screeched and squawked and bellowed behind it. Alpha then grabbed Gill and dragged him away, pulling him through the murky water by his arm. The others kicked him and struck him as he was being dragged. Why had they not killed him right then... but then... oh no... what was about to happen to him was the worst fate any sentient species could suffer. He was the newest host to be introduced to the hive...

\\Chapter 8

~~~~
Ambrose exhaled when the horrible creature roars stopped. The beast was impenetrable to their weapons, what now? And there were more of them! Everybody was gone... they had scattered amongst themselves. Ambrose knew he was on his own.
~~~~

Weyland had seen the entire thing. They had dragged the hunter off to be impregnated. He had to find the Hunter. He hugged his pickaxe and followed the aliens closely. Then suddenly he felt a hand touch him. He whirled around, stabbing the imposter right in the gut... only to find red blood all over his pickaxe as he withdrew it... he looked down, to see Ashley, holding her stomach, spitting up blood. She fell backwards into the ground, pulling off his 'W' necklace as she fell. He was speechless. Then suddenly two more hunters uncloaked on the far end of the room. Weyland ran terrified.

~~~~
Ambrose traveled deeper into the cave, until he found the large lake where the two had fought. He climbed down and almost fell of the ledge the water ran off down into. That is when he saw it... Ash was lying on her back in a pool of her own blood, and infront of her... was one of the Hunters. He screamed as he saw it retreat into the darkness. Ambrose ran after it but it was gone. He fell to his knees beside Ash. She gurgled up more blood. Ambrose was in tears now. He couldn't stand to see her like this. She pushed a heavy rock in his direction. She wanted him to euthanize her. He had to. He couldn't stand to see her in so much pain. Her lifted the rock above his head. "I will avenge you." with that he brought the large stone down upon her head, crushing it. He screamed in anger, still holding the blood soaked rock. "When I find you... I am going to f**king kill you. You are going to f**king pay for what you have done to me..." said Ambrose through gritted teeth as he stood up. He was going to kill that damn monster, even if it meant the death of him. As he was about to leave, he noticed a strange necklace she was holding. It had an 'M' on it, the first letter of her last name. He hadn't ever seen her wearing it before, but he took it to remember her by, slipping it into his jacket pocket, and them moving on.
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose scrambled through the caverns, fumbling around in the dark as he heard the creatures coming after him. He then saw Weyland and the Marines carrying what appeared to be some sort of metal 'coffin' or those 'cryo tubes' he saw in the movies, carrying it up a pile of bones, to what appeared to be a small beam of light. He rushed over to them. "Mr. Connor, where's Ash?" asked Weyland. Ambrose shook his head. "She was butchered by those damn creatures." Weyland laughed. "Which one?" Ambrose grabbed the man by his shirt collar. "You think this some sort of game? You sick f**k?" One of the Privates pointed his rifle at him. "Take your hands off of him!" he yelled. Ambrose let go of Weyland and the Marine lowered his weapon. Zimmer grimaced at him. "Private, you aim your weapon where I tell you to, is that understood?" Draco Peterson nodded and lowered his weapon. Ambrose nearly screamed when he saw what was in the metal cocoon. One of the Hunters, something attached to its face. "What are you bastards doing?" asked Ambrose. "Making the future. Come on, let's get the hell outta here." said Weyland. They continued dragging the predator up the pile to the outside.
~~~~

~~~~
The two remaining warriors were fighting for their lives against the oncoming waves of the Aliens. Celtic saw her... he saw the Queen. She was massive, sitting atop her producing brood, practically imprisoned by her children, secreted to the floor of the hive chamber to avoid her flailing too much and damage her babies. Celtic had a clear shot, he charged up his Cannon, but the leader stopped him. Celtic nodded. They had to defeat her the honorable way. The hard way. Celtic drew his blades by Leader stopped him once more, motioning to the numerous nooks and crannies in the walls. In them were the waves that Leader said there would be. Hundreds, all drooling, in protection of their hive mother. Leader clicked his mandibles and began talking in their native tongue, "The Oomans are preparing to attack! We must destroy the Kiende Amedha with the Bomb! Deploy it! We must destroy them before the Oomans do!" growled the Leader. Celtic nodded and unstrapped the bomb from his back. He tapped on the panels running down the center, and it began to whir. "Now, to flight!"
~~~~

~~~~
As they lugged the casket up the pile, they saw the two hunters run by. "That can't be good." said Peterson. Ambrose dropped the casket and struggled up the pile of bones after them. The others did so as well. Weyland got on his phone. "I need a chopper here ASAP, get a clamp to get the package!" Ambrose struggled and fought to get good footing, he climbed and struggled and pulled his way up the steep mountain of horror. The hunters were already there. He grabbed onto one of their foot for leverage but it kicked him square in the face, he did not let go, he did not give up. As soon as he was there, he grabbed and pulled at the earth, the dirt entering his mouth and nose, and eyes, and burning. Then, light. Finally, the light. Sunlight poured down onto his face. He pulled himself up onto the solid ground. Sure enough. There was a chopper there waiting for them. The long robotic arm pulled the casket out into the chopper. As soon as they were strapped in, the pilot took off. The ground fell down beneath them as they ascended rapidly. Then, just when Ambrose thought they were safe, the bomb went off...
~~~~

~~~~
The chopper was sent flying in circles. "Hang onto something!" yelled Zimmer. Ambrose had just moments to do so before the chopper flew into the ground, sending up a spray of dirt and soil. It went into his orifices yet again, this time harder and more extreme. He struggled to breath as his head was knocked around. He didn't know how he had survived the crash without dying or getting knocked unconscious. He climbed out to find the three Privates were dead, and the pilot, and ironically they had crashed almost directly behind the large weather outpost. Weyland was gone. He helped Lissome and Zimmer out. Zimmer had a sprain and a couple of cracked ribs, Lissome seemed fine. "I feel fine!" he gloated. "Just hang onto me." said Ambrose, who seemed to have a broken rib aswell. "We're getting outta here." However, to his horror. He saw several of the foul beasts arrive out of the fog. Seemingly lead by one of them with a ridged head, unlike the others' smooth ones. Another that stood out amongst them was one of a lighter skin tone, also standing about a head taller than all the rest. They were drooling, staring at them, the large one seemed to be looking at him in particular. They were like dogs, smiling, but not at the same time, and what's even more horrific, they had no eyes, he could not tell if they were LOOKING at him, or just smelling him. Ambrose backed away slowly. "When I say go, we're going to run to the facility..." The creatures edged closer, and closer still. Until the brown one sprinted towards them. "NOW! GO!" They ran as fast as they could. Lissome got there first and was about to close the door, when they got there, shutting just as the creature smashed against the door frame. "GET TO THE UPPER LEVEL!" Yelled Ambrose as they scurried up the steps. Just as they got up there and shut the door behind them, he heard the door smash inward on the lower level.
~~~~

~~~~
//Chapter 9
The Alpha Alien growled as it searched for its prey. Turning over containers and bursting into rooms. The brown one was really pushing his authority. So what if he was next in command, he would always be the favored one of the Queen, now that she was alive and well, and they had gotten her to safety, but the explosion had wiped out most of his brothers, now they were all that was left. He intended to find the large hosts and kill them, but not until these immediate threats were disposed of. Any threat to him was a threat to the Queen. Suddenly Alpha heard a loud crash. He turned around, bearing his teeth, arcing his tail, to see the the two large ones were here anyway. They had dug their own trap. Alpha hissed for his kin to attack.
~~~~

~~~~
Celtic simply blasted the creatures away with his cannon before they could get close enough, Leader did so as well. As soon as all of the others in the room were eliminated, Celtic focused on the large brown one, but was tackled by the Alpha. Leader did not see the strange hard meat exit as he grabbed the Alpha and tried to pull it off.
It was too strong. With a solid thwack of its tail it sent Leader flying into the wall. Celtic, having immense strength even for a Yautja, managed to free his arm and wrap his large hands around the Alien's throat. He then kicked it square in the chest, sending it stumbling back. He got up and bared his Wristblades, roaring. The Alien roared back, but was tackled by Leader. Celtic figured he should let Leader take care of it by himself, so he vanished up the stairs.
The Alpha Alien was stronger than Leader had anticipated, easily pinning him down the Alien bared its jaws and was about to head bite him, when Leader reversed his wristblades and stabbed the alien the arm. The Alien stumbled back off of him. Leader then leapt at the Alien, the Alien leapt at him, and they collided in mid-air. The Alien then countered his blow, headbutted him, and hit him with its tail. He was sent flying into a small room, where the cieling then caved in on him, nearly crushing him. The Alien approached, hissing in pride at its succesful defeat of the Leader... but thing were not as they seem, the debris began to stir.
Out of the debris, burst Leader, starting the battle off with a flourish as he fired the wristblades into the Alien's neck. It squeeled. Then, with two direct hits from his Cannon, blew the Alien into bits. Leader roared and ripped the Alien's head from its shoulders. He now looked around for the younger warrior, which had abandoned him like a coward.
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose heard the hunter below roaring. He did not know how much more of this he could stand before he lost his mind. "Stay quiet, we're going to get out of this." Just then Ambrose heard the door open. They were inside a cubicle. Ambrose could see the Hunter's feet from underneath it. "Oh no... follow me." Ambrose got up and moved quietly, half crouched, out of the cubicle, and down the row into the next room, the others in tow. As they entered, Ambrose lead them down the back stairwell into the generator room. As Ambrose closed the door, he turned around to see the large grey alien standing there, drooling, its tail flicking back and forth with joy that it had found food...
Ambrose didn't move a muscle. Neither did Zimmer or Lissome. "What the hell...?" said Lissome through gritted teeth. Zimmer tried to turn his head whilst moving as little of his upper torso as possible. "Sht... p!" he said, moving his mouth as little as possible. Then the Alien leapt at them, leaving them little other choice than to dodge out of the way. The Alien smashed into the door, sending it flying into the other room. The trio ditched, running through the catwalks. He hoped the hunter would take care of it... but of course, as he looked back, there it was, growling, and snarling with ravenous hunger, and quiet possibly anger, if they felt any emotion. The stomped after him, its large feet making dents in the catwalk's grating. "Get back..." said Ambrose. The creature hissed, and then growled like a dog. "Go... now..." said Ambrose.
"What are you going to do?" asked Zimmer. "I'm staying... I'll distract it." he said. "You can't that's suicide." Zimmer replied, shaking his head. Ambrose just sighed. "I have nothing left to live for anyway..." he said with a smile and a tear, remembering Ashley. He turned his head. "GO!" They left, sure enough. He turned back to the beast that was now face to face with him, towering easily two feet above him. He smiled and stepped out of the catwalk and into the door frame, backing up, just inside. As the creature entered he back up some more. He read the sign on the back of the door 'Tow'. He backed up behind the chains, dangling from the ceiling. "Come on!" he screamed.
The creature almost seemed to hesitate. Then just before it was about to leap, it came closer, then, his hand slid over the red lever reading 'Drop'. Then, it was flawless. "Say hi to your little brothers and sisters for me, would ya?" he yanked on the lever, and the machine dropped down atop the monster, easily fifty tons or more of force. The machine dropped right onto the alien, squashing it flat. Ambrose hadn't really thought out the plan. He just had hoped for the best. He slid down the wall he had his back against, and sighed. He looked over to the door to back engineering to see Lissome and Zimmer peering out, and smiled. "I got the f**ker!" he said... but it was too soon. He felt the cold grip of of the beast wrap around his leg and yank him towards it's jaws. It was still alive? How!?
~~~~

~~~~
\\Chapter 10
The Alien was torn in half by the machine. Ambrose managed to kick it off, but it continued to crawl after him on its hands and elbows. Zimmer didn't know what to do. He opened fire on it, the bullets merely ricocheting off. Then, it happened, one of his bullets got lucky and hit a spot directly in the center of the beast's head. Then, it's head exploded in a flurry of acidly ribbons. Some of it got on Ambrose's jacket, and he hurriedly yanked it off. He stood up at Zimmer's side. "Thanks, Sarge. Okay, we should really get going..." said Ambrose eagerly as they exited the complex. Sure enough, as soon as he said this, something else began to happen. The ground began to tremble and shake. Ambrose and the other two were thrown to the ground as it cracked open and a large black shape appeared out of the ground, but he couldn't make it out through the thick downpour. Then, his fears became realized. The massive picture depicting hunters fighting a large creature, the eggs, the creatures, they all had to come from somewhere... this was... their mother... their Queen.
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose spotted the truck and made a run for it, beckoning for the others to follow. They were almost there, when they were thrown aside like toys. The Queen roared, approaching them, and with each step, shaking the ground, cracking it. Ambrose scrambled to his feet, narrowly avoiding her next blow, which also sent cracks crawling through the snow covered ground. Ambrose managed to scramble into the truck, Zimmer and Lissome hopping into the back. As Ambrose floored it he realized she was following it. He put it into the highest gear and was still barely staying ahead of the pursuing monstrosity.
Zimmer and Lissome opened fire, their rounds were not affecting her in any way, yet she roared in anger, speeding up. She seemed to be momentarily stunned when she hit a power line, it sending volts of electricity throughout her body. She managed to break free and continue her pursuit... however, to Ambrose's dismay, a large ice shelf had tore through the road, possibly caused by the explosion, and he slammed on the breaks, the truck careening into it. Ambrose was thrown through the windshield, and it appeared Lissome was knocked out cold. Zimmer hopped out, firing at the approaching beast. He threw down his rifle once it ran out of ammo and pulled out his pistol, firing at it as he ran up onto the shelf, slipping a couple of times, to help Ambrose up. As he did so, he got out his communications relay. Then, out of the forest, leapt the hunters, both of them flying through the air, and landing on the Queen's back, repeatedly stabbing her, whilst getting tossed around, they continued to hang on. Zimmer jammed the relay into the ground and Ambrose helped him set up the headsets. "You getting anything?" asked Ambrose. Zimmer shook his head and continued to set it up, moving the antenna around to get a signal. Ambrose tried to ignore the ensuing fight that was going on just mere feet from where they were.
~~~~

~~~~
The black death flailed horrendously, roaring and screeching as they drove their weapons into her hide, getting them soaked in acid, soon, the Queen was sent flying by her own weight down into the forest floor below. Leader was almost crushed by her aswell. Celtic got up and shook himself off, just in time to see Leader get hit by her tail, sending him flying into the barrens below. Celtic screamed in anger at the defeat of his brethren. The Queen roared in triumph... but then... the entire mountain began shake, almost as if it had been angered.
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose fell to his belly as the ice shelf broke off beneath them. Ambrose saw the Queen roar just as the entire cliff-side fell off of the mountain itself. She uttered a high pitched squeal as a huge chunk of solid rock and ice smashed into her, crushing her and the hunter was lost in the bright white mist. It had been blind luck that the very shelf they had been sitting on hadn't gone with it. "I've got a signal..." said Zimmer cheerfully. Ambrose sighed, still on his belly. "Get us some evac... I need a vacation." Zimmer asked for evac and stood up. "It is done." Ambrose got up after him and sighed. "Thank you, you're a good friend." he said. Zimmer smiled, and then, just like that, he was lifted into the air, the Wristblades of the large hunter peircing him like butter. He screamed. "NO!" yelled Ambrose, picking up his pistol and firing at it. The bullets did nothing to the armor of it's helmet, and it threw him aside. Ambrose did however manage to knock the machete-like weapon out of its left hand, which slid across the ice. Ambrose dove for it, picking it up, smiling wildly.
~~~~

~~~~
He then charged at the hunter, which moved out of the way, slashing at him. Ambrose ducked underneath the blows, slicing it across the belly, green gore spilling out onto the ice. He then rammed the blade up through the creature's jaw, up through the top of it's helmet." he smelled the stench of the creature's blood, steaming on the ice. He then withdrew his blade, and kicked the hunter down off of the cliff, spitting as he went down.
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose joined Zimmer's side. He was still alive, just passed out from blood loss. Ambrose took off the final layer of his clothing besides the shirt on his back and wrapped it thoroughly around the wound. "You're gonna be okay, buddy, everything is going to be just fine..." Then... Ambrose got that feeling again... somebody was there... again. He looked up, and sure enough, there stood the Lead hunter, mask less, it becoming apparent it had only one eye. It growled, pulling out it's cannon. It held it at arm's length, aiming right at his head. Ambrose cautiously stood up, holding up his hands. Then, it closed its mandibles, and handed it to him.
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose was puzzled intently. He stepped in a semi-circle around the beast. It's eyes followed him. "Take it!" it said in human tongue. Ambrose stepped forward and accepted the trophy. The predator nodded, and Ambrose looked at the ground, furrowing his brow. "You killed everything I know." he said. Then, with one swift move, he jammed the sword into the predator's throat. "Now, it is your turn to die!" he then withdrew the blade, throwing it and the trophy off of the cliff. "May you rest in piece, Ash." he said with a tear.
\\Chapter 11
Two down, and countless others to go. As he sat down beside the unconscious Nathan Zimmer, he got the feeling yet again. He picked up the pistol, aiming it behind him, only to find a battered and beaten Mr. Weyland climbing over the hill. "It's okay... it's only me, put the gun down." he said. Ambrose lowered the gun. Weyland's eyes widened when he saw the dead body of the hunter. "What happened here?" he asked, noticing the massive cliff. "I killed it, it killed Ash." he said curtly and plainly. Weyland sighed. "You got 'em good." he said. Ambrose, still gripping the gun in case more of them appeared, pulled out the necklace. It was upside down, but it was still her's. "I managed to get this, as small as it is, it is still..." Ambrose noticed Weyland had a horrible expression on his face, like something was wrong. "What the hell is the matter...?" Ambrose couldn't help but notice, that upside down, the 'M' looked alot like a 'W'... wait... no... Ambrose's eye twitched a little. The 'w' was yellow, and, looked just like Weyland's necklace... which he had not seen him wearing. Then, it all came clear. His guilty look, the way Ash had held out the necklace... it all made sense now. Ambrose dropped the necklace and raised his gun to arm's length. "You son of a bitch!"
Ambrose couldn't even see straight. His vision was blurred with tears of sadness and hatred. "Why... why didn't you... just... tell me why!" Ambrose stammered angrily. "I didn't mean it, I swear, I thought she was one of the creatures." Ambrose screamed and shot him in the leg. The old man doubled over holding his leg. "You murdered her, you f**king murdered her!" he yelled. "And you got all of those people killed! All of those women and children! You deserve to die!" yelled Ambrose. Weyland held up his hands. "Just, think of what you are doing here! Think of what we could learn from it! From both of them!" he said, desperate now. "I am trying to help us fight, to help us become better than we are! Killing me won't stop them anyway! Kotetsu Yutani's men will stop at nothing to fulfill his secrets and will! They fear him! Even now the Yautja in cryo-stasis is being shipped to their headquarters! Nothing can stop him! He is too powerful!" Ambrose still kept the gun pointed at his head, both hands on it. "Who is this 'Yutani' fellow, and what are 'Yautja'?" he asked, now lowering the weapon.
"Kotetsu Yutani is the founder of Yutani Corp. His company focuses on genetic engineering, whilst mine, Weyland Industries, has been developing state of the art technology, and Yutani has been funding us in return for us bringing back 'experiments', the Xenomorphs, and the Yautja, the humanoids who have been hunting the former on Earth for hundreds, maybe even thousands of years before humanity came along, I am sure, judging by how they biology works, they used themselves to breed the creatures before using sentient species as cattle became a realization." He said getting up. "You can't stop it, the package is already on it's way there, we'll never reach it in time, and, I can't help you, Yutani is one of the most powerful men in the world, I wouldn't dare stand against him." he said. Ambrose couldn't convince Weyland, it was impossible, he was too afraid of Yutani. "Well, I'll find someway to bring him down, if he was the one who was truly behind the outbreak he needs to be stopped, before he gets millions, possibly even billions of more people killed. Judging by how fast these things spread, they would probably devour the planet of all sentient life in under a few days if the outbreak had been more severe." said Ambrose. "Do you think possibly you could lead me to this base?" asked Ambrose. "I don't even know where it is, but I guess I am of no further use to you." Weyland got down on his knees and put his hands behind his head. "If you're gonna shoot me, just do it already, I can't live with what I've done." he said. "You killed Ash, the closest thing I had in this world to a family member. I can never forgive you for this, but, you didn't mean to, and you are to blame, and a coward, but, you weren't behind this attack, so I can't hold you responsible for that. I won't kill you." said Ambrose.
Weyland seemed both shocked and frightened at the same time. "Why wouldn't you kill me? I've done so many horrible things." he asked. "Mainly, truly, you're not worth the waste of ammo. You make me sick to my stomach, but as long as you aren't willing to stand in my way, you are of no threat to me, and I won't kill you." Weyland stood up, fear and confusion in his eyes. "You sounded so much like him just then." said Weyland. Ambrose cocked his head. "Who?" "Yutani." Ambrose licked his lips. "When I find this Yutani fellow, I am going to give him the hard goodbye." he said. Ambrose had been looking into the sky when he said this. When he looked back, Weyland was gone. "Then I guess that's that then. I am on my own." Ambrose walked over to the unconscious body of Sarge and put his arm around his shoulder, getting him to wake up and use his legs as they got back to the truck. Lissome was still unconscious in the back, but would be fine, he just had to get Zimmer to a hospital ASAP or he would surely die of blood loss. Bear Ridge wasn't hospitable, they needed to go the next nearest town at the base of the mountain.
It had been Eight Weeks since the hard meat infestation had died down. It appeared the largest hive, up near what the human's called The Arctic Circle, was defeated, and following this several days later the smaller hives began to die as well.
Now there were only two hives left that really caused a problem, the rest were more or less just nests and would not survive as they had no Queen, and the Elder, as he sat at his chair, was sure the humans would take care of them, as they were superior in numbers as of this moment. His feet rested upon the massive skull of an Arczecks, large and mighty carnivorous creatures, not unlike the Ooman bear, only larger, and with scaly skin. And adorning his throne were the skulls of many creatures, including Ooman and Hard Meat, and behind his chair, the massive skull of a Zyggilag, a massive airborn creature who's skull was thirty feet long alone, and was the largest object in the cavernous room, besides the long elegant tapestries and cloth hanging down on both sides of his throne and down the isle.
As the large doors opened the Elder was surprised, as nobody ever disturbed him at this time of day. It was a Young Blood, fully armored, carrying his weapons and everything, yautja blood was smeared on his chest plate, from this, he could tell something was wrong.
"ENTER!" he boomed. The Young Blood walked down the Isle and bowed. "Your grace, this is an honor to stand before, but I feel ashamed that I must bring bad news." he said, still bowing. "Rise, young one, and tell me, what was happened." he commanded. The Young Blood rose and removed his helmet, a sign of respect, and yet sadness. "One of our brothers has gone rogue." he said. The Elder was stunned, speechless. There had not been a rogue in the Clan of Chet'lek in centuries. Bad Bloods loose in the stars were bad business, as he assumed it was the situation.
"Come now, where is he?" "Escaped, Elder lord, and The Council wants to see you back on Yautjos." said the Young Blood. "They are angered that you let him escape..." The Elder's rage built up, until he could hold it no more. "You let it escape! How could you be so ignorant and stupid!?" he raged. The Young one was scared now, and the Elder felt a pang of regret. They were young, and made mistakes. "I am sorry, but you must understand the hardships one must face as Clan Leader... I do hope you will forgive this old hunter." The Young Blood bowed his head. "We are hot on his trail sire. Our search party has been tracking him, he left the dragon's head region and is headed to the Ooman's local region." he said. The Elder sat back down, inhaling sharply. "Okay, I want you to continue the search, let your superiors know my decision, and let the head of navigation know that we must return to Yautjos, understood?" The Young Blood nodded. "Good, now run along, do not keep them waiting." As the Young Blood turned to leave, the Elder felt like striking himself for making such a stupid error. "Wait!" The Young Blood stopped and turned around, bowed. "You do not have to bow Everytime I give you a command, but I was wondering the traitor's name?" The Young Blood hesitated, thinking. "Paya Jehdin." The Elder let the name sink in. "Jehdin." He clicked his mandibles and dismissed the Young Blood. They would be back to the Yautjos region soon.
//Chapter 12
Zimmer's eyes flickered open. Everything was out of focus, nothing but light. A haze. He felt himself in a soft bed... god it had been so long since he had layed in a real bed. He felt himself drifting back into unconsciousness, the last thing he remembered was waking up monetarily and seeing Ambrose dragging him, and then passing out again from the pain. He then heard a voice. "It's about time." it said in a fluttery, happy tone, almost excited to see him. He recognized the voice. He forced his eyes open wide and looked around. Everything came into focus slowly, as he strained to see clearly. He looked around and saw Ambrose sitting beside his bed. "You feeling okay, Marine?" he asked, his head tilted forward and his eyes looked up at him. Zimmer tried to lean up but almost screamed from the pain. Ambrose stood up and put his hand on his shoulder. "Just sit tight, you were stabbed by one of them. The doctors say it'll be about a month before it is healed completely." Zimmer just layed his head on the pillow. "Where are the others?" asked Zimmer weakly. Ambrose just gazed down. "They're gone."
"What do you mean?" Ambrose sighed. "None of them survived... nobody made it out alive." Zimmer's gaze rose to the ceiling. Ambrose then leaned in closer. "Don't worry, I know how to stop it. A corporation known as Yutani Corporation was responsible for the outbreaks all over the globe, and they are the reason that those things came to Earth." Zimmer looked up at him. "You're insane, you know that?" he said. "I have heard about them, they are one of the most if not the most powerful mega corporation in the World. You can't stop them." Ambrose's expression went cold and stern. "They took Ashley away from me, they took my friends away from me. And I am going to make them pay." he said, sitting back down in his chair. Zimmer propped himself slowly up on his elbows. "I... I can help you... but... how are we going to stop them... c'mon, we don't even know where to look... " Ambrose's gaze then rose to look Zimmer dead in the eye. "I don't... but..." He glanced at the door as a shadow passed and then looked back to Zimmer. "I think you do..."
Zimmer squinted his eyes. "What?" "It was your operation in Iraq, with the hunters, the predators, your team found something, yes?" Zimmer layed back down on his pillow, thinking hard. "I... I think I remember..."
Corporal Nathan Zimmer fired away at the strange new creatures with his M4 Carbine. The first ones were like oversized scorpion type things, were much larger, but these new creatures could turn invisible, and they had ranged weapons. The rounds ripped through the stomach of one of the hunters, the spray of green gore littering the ground. Zimmer finished it off with a knife to the spine, or where he figured it would be. "Sir! There are roughly eleven more!" said Private JP Lissome to the Sergeant. "Good, I want a clean sweep, we need to toast the rat shit sons of bitches before the company shows up. Mr. Weyland isn't getting his 'specimens' like he asked." said Sergeant Lawson. "Give 'em hell marines." As the squad of five advanced the sun bright in the sky beat down on him, and toasting his gun, making it hot. As they moved into the village they were attacked by another one of the hunters.
It dropped down from the top level, fragging Private Gibbs, "Open fire!" yelled Lawson. They took the beast down quick, a hail of gunfire was no match for its armor. "Damnit! Gibbs!" yelled Lawson. "C'mon sir, here they come!" yelled Zimmer, shouldering his weapon, aiming down the sight. Half a dozen of them or so uncloaked several meters in front of them. As they did so, Zimmer's heart skipped a beat. "You have got... to be f**king shitting me..." said the sarge. His heart skipped yet another beat as a huge ass one with a damn axe uncloaked infront of them. "What are you waiting for... fire FIRE!" Yelled Lawson as the team opened fire. They were quick, lighting fast, running and swinging from rafters. One of them managed to lodge two into Private Wilson, and Zimmer caught a spear-like projectile in the shoulder. He screamed and fired in the direction it came from, on the rooftops somewhere. Another one hit Lissome in the leg. "We've got a sniper!" yelled Zimmer as the predators approached the now four man team. Lissome tried to run, but the nearest predator picked him up and benched him. Lawson managed to take it down before it could rip him in half, but another predator moved in and split his skull with his wrist knives. "Shit! The Sarge is down! Zimmer, you're in charge now!" said Lissome. Zimmer got on his tac com. "Second squad move in!" The five man back-up squad moved in, amongst them Hendrickson, a heavy gunner with an M60E4. "Open fire" Zimmer said as Hendrickson growled, "Eat this!" he opened fire with all the rest, until six predator bodies littered the alley. Krowe, the Corpseman, was the only casualty, suffering a head injury from the mysterious spear-like object that had pierced Zimmer's shoulder. The Sniper was still out there, prowling the rooftops. Zimmer counted the bodies, six, and from the looks of it, the Axeman was as well. Then, out of nowhere, the massive Axe wielding hunter appeared behind Hendrickson and impaled him with the sharp end of the weapon, throwing him aside like a ragdoll.
They opened fire, but were unable to kill the massive Yautja before it layed waste to four of their squad members. Zimmer, Lissome, and the remaining Private, Thompson, the comm tech, formed up. "Okay, as you know, we've still got a sniper up there to take down." said Zimmer. "Who knows how many more are out there? It could be like ten to one!" Zimmer grabbed Lissome by his collar. "I need you to focus devildog, we need to focus and take this thing out, we can beat 'em, hoo-rah." Thompson nodded. "Now move out, Thompson take point."
The trio moved down a side alley. Sure enough, they were shot at. Zimmer managed to avoid some near fatal shots to the leg as did the other two. Zimmer, still moving, fired up, along with the other two. He caught a glimpse of it on the rooftops but only hit the metal, the bullets ricocheting off. "Keep moving!" yelled Zimmer. They turned a corner, the beast was still shooting at them. Their bullets again missed their target, save Lissome's who actually hit, green blood seeping down to the ground. "Don't let it escape!" As they rounded another corner, Lissome spotted a ladder, and began to ascend, followed by Zimmer and Thompson. As they arrived at the top, they spotted four more of them. Two looked like generic ones, with the strange wrist augmented blades, and shoulder cannons, one of them was the sniper that had been stalking them, sleeker armor, with spikes in a row down the center of its bio helmet, and a hunter with thick armor, and a large cylinder shaped object attached to its back. Just then, a chopper appeared, and the gun opened fire, but then was taken out by one of the Sniper's what appeared to be a 'Shuriken', which returned to his grasp. That is when the two other predators opened fire on Zimmer's team, and the pilot came over his tac com. "Corporal Zimmer, we have identified the one with the package, it's a bomb, you need to take it out!" Zimmer noticed the 'W' on the helicopter. "Open fire!" yelled Zimmer, dodging the plasma projectiles fired by the two, and as the sniper proceeded to follow the bomb carrier.
Zimmer took out one, and Thompson took out the other with a few blasts from his Shotgun. The trio pursued the extra-terrestrial duo, with Lissome in the rear, his S12 out and ready. As they finally cornered the duo on the corner of a building. Zimmer ordered Lissome to take out the bomb carrier. He took out the Sniper instead, firing at his head, blasting his skull into peices. "Damnit! I mean the other one!" But before Lissome could open fire the Bomb Carrier threw a Shuriken like device as well, slicing Thompson in half. "Damnit! Open fire!" Lissome then scored a direct shot at the predator's torso, blasting him off the rooftop. This is when Zimmer, as he peered over the edge, noticed the cylindrical object light up on the predator's back. "Oh no..." Then, as he was about to yell for the team to fall back... he noticed something on the ground...
Zimmer leaned down and picked it up... it was small, about the size of his fist, shaped like a diamond... looked like one too, but inside, was a strange swirling mass... and imprinted on the front of the strange object... 'Yutani'...
As the whirring sound grew louder Zimmer snapped back into reality and pocketed the object...
"GET TO THE CHOPPER!" yelled Zimmer, scrambling aboard, helping Lissome as well. "GO! NOW!" Yelled Zimmer to the pilot. The chopper sped off into the horizon, just barely escaping the blast, which in turn decimated the entire village.
"Sergeant Zimmer?" said the Pilot. "You and Lance Corporal Lissome are being re-assigned..." Zimmer held up a hand. "I'm a Corporal." he said. The Pilot shook his head. Not anymore, I got word you've been promoted, congratulations, Sarge. While the general was a little displeased the entire town got destroyed, it was abandoned anyway. So, you're being re-assigned near "Bear Ridge, Alaska" you should be there in several days, there's a quarantine issue going on, they say it may be linked to the previous incident." he continued. "Anyway, good luck..."
Zimmer acknowledged this and withdrew the object, staring at the strange swirling mass inside... and wondering...
~~~~

~~~~
Zimmer remembered staring at the object almost as if it had happened yesterday. He had always kept it on him, even now. He pulled it out and looked inside at the mass. "Here... can I see it?" asked Ambrose. Zimmer handed it over and Ambrose looked into it. His stare was ever stale, and then it lit up, almost as if in surprise, or terror. "This is... how did you...?" Ambrose looked at Zimmer and then back into the object. "This is DNA... but not... not Human DNA..." Ambrose handed it back. "I think we need to take a little trip to Iraq next month when you're feeling better..." Ambrose noticed Zimmer wasn't listening, as he had been flipping through the channels... and was shocked at his expression as he landed on CNN. "Um... we may not have a month." Ambrose looked at the screen...
"Dozens of the strange crafts appeared out of nowhere. I guess the answer to the question, 'Are we really alone in the universe?' has been answered. All attempts at contacting them are useless but they appear to be just sitting in the upper atmosphere, watching..." On the screen, it was night in the city, the lights completely obscured the stars, save for around eighteen to twenty lights hovering above the city, these were the space-crafts of the humanoids, the predators. "My god..." was all Ambrose uttered from his lips.
Ambrose decided to go down the street to the diner and get some coffee, he figured they would have some at the hospital, but they were reserved to staff. As he entered, he discovered it was nearly deserted, save for the counter lady and a strange man sitting at it. There was also a man sitting in the corner of the room, his face obscured by shadow as he wore a hoodie with the hood up. Ambrose asked for his coffee, watching the TV screen to see that the same thing was on every channel, about the 'lights'. She returned with his coffee and he took some sips of it before hearing... what sounded like his name.
"Ambrose... Ambrose... come over here..." Ambrose blinked his eyes quickly several times to keep himself awake. He got up from his chair to see that it was the man under the hood. "Come here... I want to show you something..." Ambrose walked over and sat down. "Hey, Ambrose... I want to show you something... I want you to wake up..." Ambrose was puzzled. "Um, wake up?" The man nodded. "Yes.. I want you to... wake up! WAKE UP AMBROSE! WAKE UP!" Ambrose was a little scared now. "Hey, dude, calm down, or I'm gonna call the..." Then the man stood up. "WAKE UP!" He pulled off his hood to reveal a long... glistening object... then... Ambrose realized to his horror, that this object was his head. Then, as Ambrose got up, trying to run, the man grabbed him, revealing his razor sharp talons and teeth as he parted his drooling lips. His mouth opened, and Ambrose saw the jagged edges of the teeth inside his teeth. "WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP!!! AMBROSE!!! WAKE UP!!!" It chanted, then... as it launched its payload... Ambrose felt immense pain...
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose had fallen asleep at the counter and fallen backwards and banged his head. "AAAAHHHH!!!!" He screamed in pain. The waitress was staring at him in horror. Ambrose got up, grabbing the waitress by her neck. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!" He yelled. He then stepped backwards, letting go. "I... I am so sorry, I was just... oh my god..." The waitress then bolted out of the diner into the rain that had begun pouring outside. "Smooth... really smooth..." came a voice out of nowhere. Ambrose turned around to see the hooded man. He backed up. "You... you stay away from me... I swear..." Then the hooded man pulled off his hood, and Ambrose raised his hands infront of his face.
When nothing happened, he lowered them. It was Nolan. "Long time no see."
~~~~

~~~~
Nolan and Ambrose had seated on the table against the wall. Nolan told him about how he escaped from the creatures, and Yutani employees. "They wanted me for one of their sick experiments." he said. Ambrose just couldn't believe it, they valued their research over the lives of other human beings. "Where did you go?" Nolan shrugged. "I hiked for a couple of weeks down the mountain until I arrived here... at Crystal Hill." Ambrose nodded. "I think I found a way to save us..." Ambrose was about to continue when another voice pierced the air.
"Safe? Nobody is safe!" said the voice. Ambrose and Nolan turned to see the strange man sitting at the counter. "Of all the information that we're just sending right out there... just, BEAMING into the air and you say we're safe!" the main said, hysterical, turning around to face him. Ambrose was curious. "You think... they... came... here, by following our information that we've been beaming into the air?" asked Ambrose. "They've been coming here for centuries... they is no way they wouldn't have known about us!" Nolan interjected. The man shook his head, his eyes wild. "Oh... oh no no no no no... you're misinterpreting what I am trying to tell you... you see, they came here and taught us how to build... but there is a missing piece of the puzzle, some parts were left out! They had a civil war! They nearly drove each other to extinction, and over the decades that followed, they forgot about the backwater planet they had harvested, and now! They've come back, to claim what is rightfully there's!" The building shook. Ambrose looked around frantically as the lights flickered and went out. "And now... they're here!"
// Chapter 13
As they exited the diner they found the entire town quieter than death, all the lights, save the street lamps, we're completely out. As they walked back to the hospital, Nolan asked about Ashley. "Just, let her rest in peace. I prefer to put it behind me." was all Ambrose replied. As they arrived at the hospital they saw it's power was still on, barely. It was running on back-up generators. They went back up to see Zimmer. He was gone...
<One Month Later>
Ambrose sat in his apartment in Colorado, watching the news. The 'Lights' in the sky had become more abundant, and during the day they were completely invisible. Ambrose had seen earlier that day, a bird was flying, and it stopped in the dead center of the sky and dropped straight down. Townspeople had found it dead on the street, with its head crushed in, their ships had cloaking devices as well. Ambrose had been watching the news for nearly six straight months, to know what happened next, to know if they attacked, he had to know. Zimmer had called and told him he was out of the hospital and to meet him at his place that night... which was at 6... in one hour...
~~~~

~~~~
Ambrose arrived at Zimmer's place, a small home on the beach. He got out and Zimmer greeted him. "It's been what, a year!?" he exclaimed, taking Ambrose's hand and shaking it, patting him on the back. "Come in, please!" Once inside, Zimmer told him why he had asked him to come after they finished a cup of coffee and some chess. "You know why I asked you here?" he asked. Ambrose shook his head. "No... No, I don't believe I do." he said crossing his hands, furrowing his brow. "A year ago... you said something... about, bringing down the Weyland & Yutani Industries, am I correct?" Ambrose then remembered. "Now, I know why you called me here." replied Ambrose. "You still want to go back to Iraq." Zimmer smiled, no, but now, I think I know exactly where the entrance to Weyland & Yutani... let's just call it Weyland Yutani... Industries' base of operations is located." He got at his computer and typed something into his command prompt. Up came an interactive map of Iraq. The map pointed to a city called Najaf. "I think it might be here. The village we fought in was just west of this location, and the artifact I found... check this out..." He got up from his computer and walked into a lab. Inside it was highly bright. Almost blinding. Ambrose followed him over to a safe. He clicked the combination in and it popped open, releasing a cloud of cold steam. He reached in, and came out holding a large tray of vials. "I extracted these samples from the artifact. Now, watch this." He popped one of them open and dropped a bit onto the slider of a microscope. He looked inside, offering Ambrose a look after he was done. He saw two different types of DNA fighting each other. "This... is the DNA of both species." said Zimmer. Ambrose was amazed. The creatures' DNA even hated each other, it was alien on alien at a molecular level! "This... this is amazing... this proves that Double you why is responsible for this whole fiasco!" said Ambrose. "It sure does, by the way, I hope you packed light, because... we leave in the mornin'."
Kotetsu Yutani was a tall man with a very well build, with chiseled features. Standing at 6'1 inches tall with grey eyes and long brown hair with stubble on his face, and an almost canine appearance. He sat at his large oaken desk, staring across the wall at his blades, lined up, mounted. The long, black one in the center was his favorite. Named "Disemboweler" and "Kage Ryu Ken" respectfully. At a young age Kotetsu trained in the art of battle, he had a passion for fighting. Yet, now, here he was, in his forties, and felt being decayed by age. The implants and constant injections of the blood of his experiments seemed to give him power beyond what he could imagine, though. He loved his new found strength, it was almost a high, addicting. Weyland was a valuable asset to him, his most powerful ally, once he joined the two corporations, they would be gods among men, and his experiments would be complete, giving him rule over this weak world. He got up, lighting a cigarette, walking over to the observation port, it opening as he walked over to it. He removed the cigarette and exhaled a large plume of smoke as it opened completely, revealing a cavernous room, with transparent cells on either side, stacked up as far as the eye could see. He smiled. Inside these cages were fully mature Alien Queens. Their children were to be his, to slay his enemies and all that stood against him, and his first Yautja specimen. The Xenomorphs were the first to be discovered, and now the Yautja, the only problem for the latter was that they worked in such small groups they were hard to find. He inhaled on his cigarette again and walked out onto a catwalk, out through a door on the left hand side of his desk. He passed by many scientists, each bowing their heads in respect as they passed him. He replied to most of them by inhaling on his smoke or bowing back. As he approached the next room he entered onto another catwalk and turned left. The catwalk lead all the way to the other end of the room, but also had a long walkway which branched out right into a dead end, over looked a large tank / cage, filled with water. Inside, was the mature comatose figure. A hulking beast, easily nine and a half feet tall and must've weighed atleast five hundred or more. It had long hair-like tendrils growing from its dome-like skull, and four dagger like tusks closed over its maw gaping full of razor sharp teeth. It's skin was speckled and brown, its arms and legs ending in razor sharp talons. He smiled and puffed on his smoke a bit more. "Welcome to my world, beautiful little insect." He stared at the tank a little bit more before one of his assistants looked over. "Sir, shall I begin the hatching sequence?" he asked. Yutani nodded. "And thaw No. 1-101836 out, would you." The doctor cocked his head. "I'm sorry sir, it's just, there's so many of them." Yutani smiled. "I was talking about 'Six', thaw her out." The scientist smiled. "Yes sir. The hosts are in place, eggs are in place, Six is ready, running diagnostics now." The scientist punched a button and out of the tank exploded the beast, roaring and screaming. An Abomination.
The Oomans had kept him alive... why had they kept him alive!? He had no honor left. He had allowed himself to first be captured by the Hard Meat and now by the soft meat!? And even worse, he had allowed himself to be impregnated by the hard and experiments on by the soft meats. They had pumped him full of ballistic berserk syringes and performed so many surgeries and autopsies on him. Gill kept getting the creeping feeling that they had altered the creature inside of him into something more horrific. They had taken it out of him, with him surviving. He had seen it as well. It was different, strange, reeking of impurity and abomination beyond anything he had smelt or sensed before. He had seen his kind being subjected to impregnation by the hard meat before, just, this one was different. The Oomans had tampered with it somehow. He had to break free, he had to get up, somehow. They had put some sort of relaxant in him. He couldn't make a single movement or move a single muscle. What was this madness!?
Gregory J. Hathor had no memory of where he was. He remembered he was on his way to prison for murdering his wife. Damn bitch. Then he remembered the prison bus stopping somewhere in Najaf, Iraq, and him being lead off the bus along with the rest of the passengers and the passengers of the other twelve buses. He then remembered being knocked out, and now he was awake, and in this strange, what appeared to be a massive 'laboratory'. He was bound to the wall. On the opposite wall was another prisoner, he could see he was bound to the wall as well, by massive 'clamps'. He managed to turn his head a little, but for the most part it was fixed in a downward looked position. He got a little bit of a good look and could see rows and rows of people, bound to the wall in the massive... he looked up a little, to see rows and rows of prisoners, as high up as he could see... and then he realized a pattern. In front of each one was a strange leathery object, like an urn or something. Then he felt it move. There was one in his cell as well. He looked back down to see it was... moving. They were alive... like... eggs... then he saw... saw it open. Like the petals of a demon flower opening. Inside, was something squirming around. He began screaming, but his screams were stopped as a strange octopus spider like thing leapt from its resting place and onto his face, and the last thing he remembered before passing out was something being forced down his esophagus. The others would share this same fate, and would now be hosts for the monsters.
//Chapter 14
It had been hard to get transportation to Iraq. Zimmer had special connections to people in the USMC, being a Marine Sergeant and all. He looked over to see Zimmer was reading a book. "The War of The Worlds." it read on the cover. Ambrose went back to looking out the window. "What are we going to do when we get there?" he asked. "We're going to get the Marines, and we're going to find out who is behind this operation and turn them in to the UN. This is going to stop." he said closing his book, and turning to look at Ambrose. "We're going to stop this fucking corporation, you have my word on it." Ambrose saw the miles of desert below, and in the distance, he saw the village.
It was seventy-two hours in, Lissome was getting tired, and we wasn't used to being under the command of a new superior officer, Captain Curtis Freeman. Here they were, in Iraq, again. Supposed to be countering an illegal weapons shipment. The Chopper landed and the six man team piled out. Lissome had an M16 and decided to try it out with an underslung Grenade Launcher, even though it wasn't his listed as a registered weapon. He followed the other five, Sergeant Robbie Walcott taking point. The village was small, and they ducked behind a dumpster as a cargo van drove by, followed by a heavily armored car with an M249 SAW attached to the top. Lissome wasn't here because of this though, he was here to meet Zimmer and Connors, he just had to find the rendezvous point. "Go!" said Freeman. "I'm not sure we should go y..."-"Shut up, I'm in charge here, Walcott." interjected Freeman. The team moved from cover to cover. Lissome, who would have initially taken up sniping position, was up in the front-line. "You will open fire on my mark." Strange individuals piled out of the Cargo Truck, they appeared Middle-Eastern in origin. Freeman raised his rifle. "NOW! OPEN FIRE!"
The half-dozen Marines easily trampled them, roughly fifteen men. One of their commandos, Kory, was injured by the Machine Gunner, but Cornwall took him out with a quick shot from his M16. "Move up!" said Freeman. "I'm sorry sir, but I did not agree with..."-"Shut your mouth Walcott, I'm warning-""Kory was hurt! Sir, you don't give a shit!?" Freeman grabbed the man by his shirt collar. "I suggest you stay out of my line of command!" he growled, letting him go. As they approached the truck, Cornwall entered to see strange weapons, not like anything he had ever seen. "Take a look at this Sir!" Wicks entered to see boxes full of strange high-tech weaponry. Krispin entered, scanning the weapons. "Sir, the alloys that these weapons are made out of are not listed anywhere in our database, it's saying they came from nowhere!" Freeman turned to Cornwall. "Maybe they're extra-terrestrial?" Freeman ignored him and helped Kory up into the truck bed. Walcott and Lissome remained outside, staring at the other four. "I don't trust them." Walcott said. "Me neither." Lissome replied. Freeman exited the truck, radioing back to command. "Okay, Colonel Ajax, we're bringing them in... what's that... Weyland Industries? Okay sir, will do, Freeman out." Wicks put the radio back into his sack, Lissome knew something was wrong. "I suggest we destroy the contents immediately." he said. Freeman almost laughed. "I don't think so Corporal." "Hundreds of people can die, we need to destroy the contents, doing this will only get more people killed." Freeman furrowed his brow. "I don't really give a shit, Weyland Industries and their client organization Yutani Corp has paved the path for the future of mankind!" he replied proudly. "Indeed." concurred Kory, climbing out from the truck, followed by Cornwall and Krispin. Lissome was out of options. He raised his Pistol to Freeman's head. "Do it or I blow your brains out!"
Freeman simply raised his arms. The other three aimed their rifles at Lissome, as did Walcott. "Drop that goddamn gun! Right now!" yelled Cornwall. "This is the beginning of the end of your service as a Marine." replied Freeman curtly. "No, this is the end of my service to Weyland Industries, they don't give a shit about human welfare." Walcott knew he was making a mistake. The Sergeant turned his rifle on Cornwall, Krispin and Kory. "Lower your weapons, or Lissome here is going to put a round right in your Captain's head." Said Walcott. "Now, I am just going to give General Michael Reznor here a little call at Marine Headquarters and tell him about your little, 'slogan'." Walcott got on his mic. "General, sir?" "What is it, who is this?" "Sergeant Robbie Walcott sir, we have some Marines going AWOL, they relentlessly killed a handful of civilians to get to some special weapons." Freeman's gaze turned to anger. "What a load of BULLSHIT!" yelled Kory. "Is this so? What has Colonel Ajax having them do?" The General replied. "DAMNIT! HE'S LYING! WE DID NOT KILL CIVILIANS THEY WERE ARMED VIGILANTES, AND THIS IS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF MANKIND!" screamed Freeman. "Screw this! Open fire Marines!" Walcott dropped the mic and dived behind a slab of concrete as the hail of bullets nearly kissed his foot. He then sprinted to the nearest building, Lissome was right behind him. Just then the sun was eclipsed by a shadow, Walcott looked skyward to see a low flying personal jet zoom by.
Ambrose noticed a gun-fight going on in the town. "...Okay... understood." Zimmer hung up the mic and tapped Ambrose. "Get your gear... you're a Marine now and we're going ground-side." Ambrose was confused. "What?" "C'MON no time for questions, some Marines just went AWOL and we need to get down there and help them..." Ambrose rose to his feet and followed Zimmer to the cargo room.Once suited up, they grabbed their gear. All that was left for Ambrose was an S12 Sniper system. He grabbed it and a pistol. "You're not specialized in that weapon." said Zimmer. Ambrose shrugged. "It's all that was left. Zimmer sighed. "Well I'm only specialized in Assault and Close Quarters, like M16's and P90's... hmm... just stay behind me."
Ambrose nodded. He wasn't used to the armor. "Yes sir." The plane landed outside the city and they moved out. Ambrose followed Zimmer, he didn't like the sniper rifle, it was too big for his liking. As they neared the first line of buildings a grenade rolled by his feet. "GET DOWN!" Ambrose dived behind a dumpster. Once they were regrouped with Lissome, and another Marine, they joined the fray. Lissome and the Marine were firing like crazy. Ambrose contributed as much as possible, but the issue with him never firing a gun that large was great, as he couldn't aim worth a shit. He kept aiming for the target yet would also hit something next to or above it. "GODAMMIT!" He shouted. He aimed down the site and fire, missed again.
One of the Marines laughed. "Screw this piece of shit!" "Hey!" yelled Lissome. Ambrose dropped the rifle and pulled out his pistol. "EAT LEAD!" He yelled, firing away wildly in the direction the opposing gun fire was coming. The Marine was hit in the shoulder and he ducked behind the overturned truck, holding his shoulder. "Dammit! Where's the Corpsman!" yelled Zimmer. Lissome pointed at his chest. "GET ON HIM! AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT M16!?" Lissome shrugged. Zimmer crouch ran over to him and snatched the rifle out of his hands, handing him the S12, giving the M16 to Ambrose. "Connors! Try this on for size! Cover Lissome while he patches Sergeant Walcott up!" Ambrose, with his back pressed up against the bottom of the car, grabbed the rifle.
"Thanks... Sir!" he needed to get used to talking in Marine speech. He leaned over the side and fired. It was automatic, just the way he liked it. It ripped right through the chest of one of the Marines. "DAMN!" he yelled. As soon as the soldier fell, the others hopped in the van and drove off. Walcott stood up on his legs. "I'm fine." he waved Lissome off. "So... where do we go now?" asked Ambrose. "We're going to have to figure a way to work out the issue with commanding officers, we don't have one." Zimmer said. "Yeah, two Sergeants, one Corporal and one Private are hardly intimidating odds. Connors kept his experience with heading his extra-curriculum organizations during high school to a minimum. He had experience with leadership, but he felt it would be easier to follow for the time being. Zimmer looked around. "Okay, let's move out!" he said. They hopped in the armored car. The SAW on the rooftop was too damaged to operate, so Connors piled in next to the rather small Lissome. Zimmer floored it and the car, with so much equipment on it, did barely over seventy. As they drove, a chopper landed up the road from them and several personnel hopped out. Zimmer slammed on the gas and got out. He followed Zimmer up to the second squad. Four men... err... three men and a woman. She saluted. "Corporal Faye Gillian, commanding officer of second squad." she said. Ambrose noticed she was holding an M60E4 with an ACOG scope attachment and a grip. "At ease." said Zimmer. Gillian looked around at his squad. "Where's your commanding officer Sarge?" she asked. "Absent Without Leave, along with two others. They've sided with Yutani's forces." "Dammit, not another squad. Well, we're with you." she said. She removed her helmet to straighten it. She had short brown hair that fell just below her ears, and green eyes, an athletic yet graceful build, and tattooed on her left arm was "Lucky". Ambrose smiled at this. He saw a Humvee exit the Chopper. "Well, you and your squad fall in behind ours, we'll work out the issue with acquiring a new squad leader later, preferable somebody with experience in leadership." Ambrose gulped at Zimmer's words. He turned to look at him. "Something wrong, Private?" Ambrose hesitated. "N...nothing... sir!" he said. "What's wrong with him?" asked Gillian. "Rookie. Now come on! Move out!They had made it. The Village of Kajar. Just west of Najaf. The village was in ruins, nothing but broken buildings, and thick smoke. Ambrose got up and sided with Zimmer. "Why do you think you found that 'Artifact'? Just lying out in the middle of a rooftop?" asked Ambrose. "There were Yutani employees scattered throughout Kajar, the Predators had been slaughtering them, butchering them. It wouldn't be un-wise to assume that one of them had taken it from their corpse. Now, stay alert and stay frosty, behind me." he said, quickening his pace. Ambrose shouldered his M16, staying behind Zimmer. "Now, no matter what you see, do not open fire until I say so." he said. They moved into one of the buildings and Ambrose caught a glimpse of the truck the AWOLers had driven away in. He entered the structure.
Jehdin sat quietly at his chair, spraying his skulls with cleaning tools. It was quiet aboard his personal ship, he liked it that way, the only sound was the whirring of machines. He smiled and clicked his mandibles together. As he finished the polishing up procedure, he stuck the skull on his mantle next to his Xenomorph skulls. He rested in his chair, before remembered what he had to do, polish his weapons, of course. He got up and strode over to the door, as it opened, however, he could have sworn he heard another door open somewhere else in the ship. The doors were motion activated as well. He shrugged, it was possibly a malfunction, this was an old boat. He strode across the hall way to the armory. Once inside, he heard another door open elsewhere. Well that was a coincidence. Doors didn't malfunction twice in one minute. It was either a coincidence... or.... no... there's no way the Elder's soldiers could find him all the way out here, it was impossible, and he had no live hard meat specimens on board, although his friend Chi'nook had been begging him to get some, that all proper vessels had atleast one Hard Meat set of eggs aboard. He had disregarded him, probably for better or for worse. Jehdin shook off the chills that ran down his back and stepped up to his locker, popping it open and reaching in and pulling out his favorite set of wrist blades. They were long, with two pointing forward and one pointing backward, as well as a second pair of blades running up along each side of his arm. He slipped the gauntlet on, and with one flick of his arm, all five blades popped out.
He clicked his mandibles every time he did this, as it was so pleasurable to see them slide gracefully outward. Of course, it was against the code of honor for a Young Blood such as himself to carry such lethal instruments, they said he was "Too young" to carry such weapons. So, he rebelled. He was too good for them anyway, they did not deserve his skill. All he had to do was kill a child bearer heavy with pup. Then it was done. He escaped from the Chet'lek Clan ship and now here he was, beyond the Furthest Edge, the Yautjian name for the edge of the Galaxy. Few ships had been out there and come back in tact, or at all for that matter. As he polished his blade, he heard another door open. He stood up. He wasn't alone on the ship. He grabbed his Plasma Cannon, attaching it to his back, it was custom, coated with Hard Meat skeletal tissue to protect it from their acid. He strapped on his Cuirass, and grabbed his Bio Helmet. It was also custom. Lined with teeth and adorned with spikes and horns of his kills, directly from the skull itself. It even had the mandibles of an enemy Yautja attached to it, a serious crime, had he still been allied with them. As another door opened, he realized it was the one to the outside hallway. He slid his Bio Helmet on, and purred, extracting his Wrist Blades, and crouching down low to the ground in front of the door. He heard heavy foot steps out side the door. They were here. He then heard the door to his trophy room across the hall open and close. One was still out in the hallway. He heard commotion in the room as they thrashed his trophies. Okay, now he was angry. He stood up and exited the room.
Outside was an enemy Yautja with his back turned. He strangled the small hunter with ease, he was alot larger than an average Yautja. His limp body dropped to the ground, and Jehdin entered the Trophy room to see two Hunters smashing his skulls on the ground, and turning over stands. He roared and fired two shots from his Plasma Cannon, nailing each of them in the face, killing them. He then heard heavy footsteps behind him. He turned to see a large Yautja, larger than him, uncloak and grab him by the neck, lifting him up into the air. "You will pay for your afflictions dirt blood!" He then smashed his head against the wall, knocking him out.
Jehdin awoke to see the floor going by under neath his feet, fading in and out of consciousness, he heard the squabbling of the two large warriors who carried him as he did so. "How much further must he heft this rotting corpse? Any cell will do!" said one with red armor. "Why not toss him in with this lot?" snorted the other, this one with grey armor, motioning toward a cage containing rabid Hard Meat, drooling, scratching at the gate. "They could use the meat!" he said, almost laughing. "Them, what about us! My belly aches! And his flesh is seared just the way I like it!"-"QUIET! You two whimpering pups fresh off the teat! He's not meant for jails." The largest of the three stopped in front of a large door. "The Council has something special in mind!" he said with a smile. "Come!" He turned and entered the door. They went through a large galley. Once inside, the two brutes released him. Jehdin fell to the floor. He looked up to see the Elder. "You may leave, Koran." The largest Yautja looked appalled. "But... I thought"-"And take your Guardians with you, I will take care of the maggot!" he said, cutting him off. The so called Koran grunted. "Let's go." As the trio left, Jehdin rose to his feet. He was completely naked. "You dare stand on your disgraced feet before me!? Do you have any idea what I would do to you?" The Elder barked. Jehdin merely cocked his head. "Do you have any idea what I could do to you?" Jehdin asked. The Elder grunted. Then Jehdin added on,"...Primal." The Elder growled at him. He then turned his back and walked over to a monitor, typing in some controls. "If it weren't for the other members of The Elder Council I would have had you hung by your skin and your skull mounted in the dining hall, but... the Council wanted me to send you on a... Suicide... Mission..." suddenly the screen flickered on behind him. A Yautja female appeared, adorned by elaborate piercings and decorative head adornments and brightly colored flowing robes, she was an Elder. "Not a suicide mission, but an opportunity to re-claim your honor." Primal sighed. "Why does it always have to be about that? Do you know, Teh'kki, that I could have you..."-"The Head of Council over-ruled your decision once, Bra'ggart, they can do it again." she hissed. "Anyway, Jehdin, you are a fine warrior, so good, we were planning on appointing you personal mercenary for the Council. Then you rebelled. If you refuse this offer, we can always have you hung by your skin..." she said. Primal grinned at Jehdin, who grinned at the screen. "What do you have in mind?"
~~~~

So, Jehdin was going with Koran to the Ooman homeworld to eliminate an 'Abomination', as Teh'kki called it, and to kill a disgraced Yautja who allowed himself to be captured and experimented on by them. Koran was not going to give him an easy time, being a Blooded Predator. His Bio Helmet had two prongs swooping back on either side of it and one in the middle. He called himself 'Ghost' though, and he called Jehdin 'Dirt', although the Oomans called him 'Dragon'. The ship went about its planned route and the two drop pods were jettisoned to the surface. "You still alive, Dirt?" Jehdin didn't reply back. As the pods impacted with the ground, the doors opened and Jehdin stepped out to find himself in what appeared to be a Desert, a small cluster of buildings not far from his location. Ghost joined him and Jehdin nodded, the duo cloaked up and entered the village.

Bra'ggart growled and hit the wall with his fist. That damn Lou-dte Kalei, trying to make him look bad. He was much older than her and deserved a higher place in the Council, which he had, unfortunately she was appointed messenger. Now Jehdin was going to succeed and he was going to be punished for ostracizing him like he did. He wished it could be like the good old days, back in Earth's Central Mexico. The Humans there were so submissive back then, with their little Aztec empire. They had willingly submitted themselves for embryo implantation. He remembered as though it were yesterday.

He had been a Young Blood back then, just completed his first Hard Meat Trial. Everything was running smoothly. The Hard Meat were being kept at a manageable number, not too overpowering. He remembered how the chosen ones would offer their bodies to be sacrificed so that the Hunt could begin, every 100 years. This particular time, however... something was wrong. A particular young prince had been chosen... Achcauhtli , to be sacrificed to the Hard Meat so the hunt could begin. When he refused, they tried to capture him, and forcefully feed him to the Hard Meat, but he and a few others escaped. Now, the bond between the Yautja and the Oomans had been broken, they no longer trusted them... and so, the Yautja had left. He remembered, it was he, Bra'ggart, who convinced the Yautja to strike back...

Achcauhtli, or 'Li' for short, along with Ichtaca, and Ixtli, or 'Ix' and two others, whom he managed to bring with him, had escaped the wrath of the Gods, narrowly escaping with their life. They had been running through the jungle for days, he had even managed to snag one of their god-like weapons. A 'War Staff', as they called it. A large hard instrument with a sharp end on each side. It was heavy, but powerful. Ix had his bow, and Ichtaca had managed to get a sword off the wall as well. Li ran through the jungle, with Ix and Ichtaca behind him. Ix stopped. 'I... I must rest, we have been traveling for days without water or food! I am tired, I must rest my old friend." he said. Ichtaca stopped as well. "You fools, if we stop now the hunters will surely find us! Then they'll feed us to their monsters!" Li threw is arms in the air and sat down next to the two large men. "I do not feel we are going to get out of here alive." Ix said. Li merely shook his head. "We are going to survive." Li saw Ichtaca's face light up with fear. He followed his gaze to see a shape standing out on one of the tree branches. It's eyes lit up. "Go now!" he yelled. The five of them split into three different directions, with Ix and Li going on way, Ichtaca and one of the others going another way, and a loner going off in a completely different direction.

The man ran through the forests, leaping over tree roots and swinging under low branches. The hunter was hot on his trail, he could hear his heavy foot steps gaining on him. He turned around and threw his axe at it. He stopped and saw bright green liquid drip onto the ground. The suddenly the massive creature, much larger than a man, appeared out of thin air. He remembered they could travel with the wind. It roared, he could see his axe in its shoulder. It pulled it out with ease and broke it in half, roaring. He turned to run, but it grabbed him by the neck from behind and lifted him up into the air, and slowly began to crush his skull.Li and Ix ran and ran, until the legs hurt and their bodies screamed. Li fell face first in the mud and Ix reached back to help him up. As they ran he could hear breathing. He turned around and there it was, standing there in a tree. It jumped down and drew this long instrument from its belt. Then what appeared to be a net was ejected from it and it attached to the tree. They were held in place. Ix began squirming and Li held his arm. "Don't move, it will tighten and slice us into bits." said Li.

The hunter then approached them. Then, it began to speak in their language! "So. You Oomans think you run the place? We have ruled this world for hundreds of years, things aren't going to be any different! You will be shamed and spat on for the rest of your life, by both us and your own kind, you will be treated like the dirt we tread upon... enjoy your new life." Then another appeared out of thin air and grabbed the net, carrying both men over its shoulder back to the city.

Li could see through the net, in the woods, that Ichtaca was standing there, staring at them. He motioned that he would come back to save them. After this Li must have passed out for awhile. He woke up to Ix shaking his shoulder. He awoke to see that they were in the city, it was dusk, and almost all of the citizens had left for their homes. He saw the massive pyramids eclipsing the sun, and the Hunters' ships had left now. Ix whispered something to him, "I suppose we are going to be meat for the hungry monsters, now." Li shook his head, "No, Ichtaca will come back, he will rescue us, he said so himself, let us just play along and go with what they do." As the two hunters entered the central pyramid, the one carrying them saw the net down in the large cell room beneath the pyramid, and clicked his mandibles. "What will I do with them, my lord?" the Unblood asked in his Hunter's tongue.. Primal growled, laughing slightly. "Throw them in the hole, we'll keep them warm and alive, the hard meat like their food alive, they've been well behaved, they will deserve this prize." he replied in human tongue, probably to scare them.

The Unblood nodded and picked up the net, carrying them down several more floors to a small square room, pressing a button so that a large energy field came down over the cell. The hunter then put on his bio helmet and cloaked up, probably to go search for the survivors. As soon as he was gone, Li turned to Ix. "Okay, we'll just play their little game until Ichtaca shows up...-" Ix interjected him"-what if he doesn't? What if we are forced to be fed to their prey, and we become the prey?" he asked. Li's look became distant. "He's never failed me before, he will come, he has to..."

Ichtaca stared upon the Aztec city from atop a tree. He could see it spread for miles. The hunters' ships had left and he could hear the howls and cries of the monsters within. Ichtaca gripped his sword tightly, the one that he had taken from the hunters' weapon rack. He exhaled sharply. "I'm coming, Achcauhtli." he said. With that he leapt from the tree top to the lower branch. As he swung his way down and landed on the forest floor, he pulled out his sword. He could hear the Hunters, the Predators. They were searching for him. He ran up to the sound and shoved his sword through the back and out through the front of one. His sword seemed to just slice through the air, but as the hunter uncloaked, he withdrew the blade, covered in bright green blood. He then dashed through the jungle as quickly as possible, hiding when the opportunity called, and then sprinting whenever he heard one draw near. "Find the Ooman! Search the jungle for it!" he heard one growl. He had studied their native tongue as a child, he could understand what they say. He sprinted some more, and as he saw one turn towards him, he scurried up into one of the trees. "I see it!" it growled. It then opened fire, roaring.

The tree's bark was blown into splinters as he missed his shots, firing away with the strange weapon mounted on his shoulder. Then, Ichtaca heard a strange hissing sound. He peeked out of the tree to see steam rising from the hunter's weapon. He then pulled out a large... oh no... a War Staff. It withdrew, and the hunter lunged the staff right where he was hiding. Ichtaca jumped out just as it whizzed past his head and landed on the forest floor, his knees buckling beneath him and him landing on his back. As he tried to get up, he felt a solid kick to his side. He was sent hurtling into the tree trunk. As he looked up, he could see the city, it was just behind the forest, he had to get to it. He scrambled to his feet and ran. He could hear the strange weapons firing behind him, hitting near his feet, burning them. He continued and pressed on, screaming all the way. Then, as he exited the forest, he tripped. He fell, tumbling down the slope all the way to the base.

He regained consciousness to see more of them were appearing on the edge of the tree-line. Oh no, he had to run, he had to run as fast as he had ever ran in his life. He ran across the large open fields, over the hills and leaping over rivers, running through more jungles, the creatures hot behind him. He didn't stop, he ran fluently and gracefully, leaping over tree-roots and swinging from low hanging tree-branches. He was positive they would have captured a regular man, but he was a warrior. He continued to run, zig-zagging between tree trunks, and running through more clearings, until he came to the base of one of the village buildings. As he heard the roar from the jungle, he ducked inside, hiding behind a pillar as they ran by. He exhaled. He saw movement out of the corner of his eye, backing up and drawing his blade. It was only one of the slaves. "Please! please... do not hurt me!" the old man plead. Ichtaca sheathed his blade. "I... I heard about the escape, and the capture. Is it true, that our gods have imprisoned our own prince!?" he asked. "Ichtaca simply sighed. "They are not gods, they can bleed, we can kill them, gods cannot be killed." he said simply. "I am going to save him, if you want to come along." Ichtaca said. The slave nodded. "I believe you are Ichtaca. I am Nama." Ichtaca bowed his head, he never thought he would so such a thing to a slave, but they were all men here, they had to find a way to overthrow the hunters. "It is an honor to meet you." Ichtaca then heard a loud roar, and heavy footsteps outside of the building. "We must go, now!" The two of them sprinted off down the hall.

As the six man team moved deeper into the building, Connors kept getting the feeling somebody was following them. Zimmer maintained constant radio communication with Omega Team, leading which was Cpl. Keller, a Warfighter himself. As they neared the third floor Keller confirmed the second floor is clear. Once on the third floor, Zimmer ordered a communications relay be set up, and machine guns, which meant Gillian. Connors walked up to Zimmer. "So... everyone hear has a specialization... like Gillian's Survivalist... Lissome over there's Sharpshooter... you yourself are a Close quarters expert... what am I?" he asked. Zimmer rubbed his chin. "I would put you as a Grenadier, as we don't have one with this squad." he replied solemnly, almost sadly. "Hey, c'mon let's get this dish set up!" he yelled over to Lissome and Williams.

~~~~
~~~~

Keller's squad set up defenses on the lower level. "Okay, good, we've got this set up, let's radio back to..." Keller's breath caught in her throat as she saw something... big... pass in front of the doorway. "Corporal, what is it?" asked Private Watson, the Sharpshooter. Keller just couldn't say anything. "I... I don't... know." Then one of her men screamed... Fisher. He dropped his M60 and was lifted into the air by something large, and unseen, then a massive creature appeared out of nowhere and appeared to be holding him up in the air by some sort of pair of blades mounted on his arm. "AH!" The other five opened fire, but the creature was as quick as lighting. It's face had been like that of a dragon. As it disappeared, another one of her men, Donner was killed as he was sent flying into the wall by a long staff-like weapon. Watson opened fire, screaming at the top of his lungs with his M21. "DIE YOU SONOVABITCH!" He yelled. Keller was sorrow stricken. Donner had been like an older brother to Watson. He just removed Donner's body from the wall when he hit nothing but air. "I'm gonna find who did this... and I'm going to kill them..." he said. Richards, a large man with a M249 and an AT4 proposed that, maybe, Yutani was right. It all started to make sense, here, they were working for the wrong people. She sighed. "Okay men, let's go find Freeman." she said.

~~~~
~~~~

Zimmer heard the gunfire stop, and rushed down there to see what was going on, along with the rest of his squad, to see two dead bodies, Donner and Fisher. He got on his radio. "Okay... Corporal Keller, come in, do you read me, over? Come in over!" He hung up. "Damnit it's not working, okay, fall in..." As they neared the ground floor one of their men screamed. He was thrown up against the wall and blood smeared against every surface he hit. Zimmer saw it. A large humanoid, one of the hunters, only this one had long prongs protruding from it's helmet. It roared and started down the steps after them. Connor saw Williams scramble to his feet and open fire. "FALL BACK!" yelled Zimmer. They exited the building and sprinted across the main road to the next building, running out the back door and into a back road just as the entire building exploded. Connor was thrown to the ground by the pulse. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" yelled Zimmer. Connors saw a Raptor fly by. "Friendly air strike." Zimmer laughed. "MORE TRAITORS!" "That wasn't friendly... remember kids, friendly fire, isn't." said Lissome jokingly. Walcott kicked him.

Zimmer got a new call from high command. "This is Sergeant Zimmer of Alpha team." he stated upon answering. "I heard Omega has gone AWOL." said the voice on the opposite line. "Yes sir, this is General Reznor I'll assume?" "Yes it is, I also heard you and your team were nearly killed by an opposing air strike. Sergeant, you need to find somebody to lead your squad, even if you have to skip some ranks, you need a CO, and that is an order, do you understand? I want you to find this Yutani guy, find this Weyland guy, and we're hot on the trail of finding the missing Colonel, but in the meantime, I want you to find those two horseman, and get yourself a damn CO, that is final." Zimmer nodded. "Understood sir, Alpha team out." Gillian shrugged. "What the fuck are we going to do now?"

Zimmer sighed and put his hands on his hips. He licked his lips and furrowed his brow. "Okay... now listen up. We need a leader, somebody who can lead this team with ease and flawlessness. I need, someone, anyone with leadership experience." Lissome was the first to raise his hand. Zimmer smiled. "What is your experience as a leader?" Connors was sweating bad now, he couldn't be put on the spot. He backed up, trying to appear as passive as possible. "I have none in the military, but I promise you I can be a hard ass and get everyone out of here alive." Zimmer shrugged. "That's it? That's all you got? No, somebody else." Lissome sighed. "Robbie what about you?" Robbie shook his head. "No, sir, I'm fine where I am, sir." Zimmer nodded. "I appreciate your stubbornness, but, I'm really in need of somebody." Nobody else raised their hand or stepped forward. Zimmer was in shock. "COME ON PEOPLE!" Zimmer just sat down on the ground, holding his head. "It can't be me... it can't." Connors could see Zimmer didn't want to do this, he couldn't stand to see him like what he was like now. Connors approached him, putting a re-assuring hand on his shoulder. He gulped and inhaled sharply. It was going to take all the nerve he had to spit it out, but he had to do it now, for humankind. "Um, Sergeant Zimmer... I'll... do it..."

Zimmer blinked and raised his head from his hands. He blinked once more before looked up at Ambrose. "You... you what?" Connors nodded. "I'll be the new Captain." Zimmer then swallowed. "What is your experience?" Connors replied, "My last three years of high school and summer camp I headed several extra curricular activities, as well as numerous online communities during my freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years. So I have roughly five, six years of experience, believe me now, I don't want to do this, but I am doing this for the team... sir." he had to remember he wasn't a Captain yet. Zimmer stood up. "That's... efficient. The General told me, if I had to, to bump them up several ranks... I dunno what he'll think about a Private skipping Corporal, Sergeant and Lieutenant all the way to Captain..." Zimmer hesitated. "I'll make the call." He got out his radio. "General Michael Reznor, this is Sergeant Nathan Zimmer of Alpha... I have a Private here eligible for the position, five years experience with leadership... what's your move? What do you suggest, over?" "I don't care as long as they've got experience, make him the new CO, what was the rank of the previous... Captain Freeman, Captain, make him a Captain, over." "That'll do sir, Zimmer out." He clipped the radio to his belt and put a hand on his shoulder. "Well... Captain... let's get this show on the road."

Connors then looked to the others. "Okay, Marines, we've got a job to do here, for the betterment of our entire race, not just our division, not our country, our world, our species as a whole. I say, screw the AWOLers, they will not stand in our way, screw the damn hunters, they won't stand in our way. Let's go in there, find the head honcho, and give them hell... let's go give them hell, devil dogs, now MOVE OUT!" Connors fell in behind Zimmer and Walcott, who were behind Williams, and Gillian and Lissome were covering the six. As they entered a large building, which appeared to be once a church of some sort, Zimmer held up a hand, looking down at a wall. "I found something..." He was looking at a strange shape engraved into a stone slab. It was in the shape of a hexagon. Then Zimmer dug in his rucksack and pulled out the hexagon shaped stone...

\\Chapter 18
The alien cages were quiet. Not a sound... except for the slow, steady breathing. This is where Yutani felt most at peace as he sat at the observation desk, scribbling down notes on his piece of paper. The creatures appeared to be getting along nicely. Yutani took the liberty of experimenting, seeing what would happen if the Ovimorph impregnated a canine. They ran multiple tests on the impregnated canine, a great dane, and then surgically removed the Larva. It developed rapidly, and quickly, much stronger than the human spawned variant. The particular host was larger and stronger than a grown man, thus producing a physically superior creature. He heard a growl and looked up to see the creature staring at him in the face. Luckily, between him and it was a thick pane of glass, bullet proof and acid proof.

Yutani smiled. "You're quiet something aren't you?" he said, still smiling. The creature growled, drooling productively. It's face was overall sharper with a longer neck and thicker more powerful limbs and torso than the Alien "Warriors". This Alien "Beast" was his favorite... other than "Six". It then disappeared from view. He went back to writing, pressing a button. The glass then moved away from the desk, back into what appeared to be a massive containment wall, filled with alien cages. When he
was finished, he closed the notebook and exited.

In Cage C-12 were two Alien "Warriors"... and the "Beast". Whereas the others had much more higher pitched squeals, squawks, and hisses, this creature was different, being spawned from an overall larger and more powerful host. It roared and growled. It turned to the two weaklings. It had to get out, it had to feed. The only thing an Alien feared... was a rogue Alien... well... not really a rogue, this beast just wanted out, and it would kill to do so. The creature approached them, it's jaws agape, it's tongue opening and closing. The two Warriors gathered closer together. It roared again, and the Warrior hissed in response. They made noises to each other, one out of anger, the others out of fear. Then the beast struck. It plunged its tongue into one of their chests, the organs spilling all over the floor. It then killed the other, it squealed and fell to the floor next to the other. The Alien Beast roared and crawled through the opening.

<Central Mexico, Late 16th Century>

Ichtaca and Nama entered the Central Pyramid, the door closing behind them. The duo followed the brightly lit corridor up into the upper levels of the pyramid, where they stumbled upon the deceased skeletons of the chosen ones, arranged in a circle. The Seven... Ichtaca gulped and continued upwards. "The jails are up here." said Nama, leading the way up the steps. As they arrived in an adjacent corridor, Ichtaca looked to his right to see Li and Ix. He approached the cage... a strange magic barrier in front of it. "Do not worry, I am going to get you out of here." he said reassuringly. Li leaned forward. "He's coming back!" He rasped. Ichtaca had barely enough time to react. As the large hunter that had carried Li and Ix away entered the room, Ichtaca hid behind one of the stone slabs. The massive hunter removed his mask and stretched his mandibles, peering into the cage and sneering. He then sat down on one of the slabs and began rubbing his Wrist Knives together, purring as he did so. Ichtaca waited until he left to disclose his presence. "Okay... now how do I remove this thing?" asked Ichtaca. Li motioned toward a button on the wall. Ichtaca pressed it and the barrier dropped. Li and Ix exited the chamber. "C'mon, I'll show you where they keep their weapons." he said. The duo followed Li to the upper chambers.

As they neared the birthright chamber, Li motioned for them to stay. He peeked around the corner to see three of the hunters inside, and two standing guard on the top of the pyramid, just above their heads. Li waited for them to leave, but as they did, the other two came down. Li sighed. He picked up a rock and chucked it into the jungle. He heard the commotion inside stop. Then the guard party inside bounded down the central steps, disappearing into the night. Li smiled and motioned for them to continue. The room was small and square, with a single bench against the north wall, a hunter weapons rack against the south, and two exits to the east and west. Li grabbed a large axe/spear type weapon, Ichtaca simply grabbed another sword to duel wield with, and Ix grabbed a highly advanced bow, which shot light tipped arrows. Nama wasn't specialized in weapons, so he preferred to just tag along behind, offering anything he knew, and he knew more about these creatures and their prey than he was letting on.

As they removed the weapons, a shift happened in the pyramid. Something was happening. For a moment there was silence... then... horrible creature growls and roars. "Oh... oh no... what have you done?!" asked Nama. "You've set them loose!" What have you done!?" he asked, shaking Li. Li just shook his head and exited the room to see thousands and thousands of the creatures scurrying throughout the city. Blasts of light going off as the hunters tried perilously to defend themselves. "We must go... NOW!" yelled Nama.

~~~~
~~~~

Before Li knew it the four of them were bounding through the forest, the sounds of monsters right behind them, and the blasts of light going off repeatedly behind them were clearly visible just beyond the tree-line, even as it faded from view. As they entered the jungle, everything was quiet, except for the obvious sounds of battle in the background. They stopped for a breather. "What have we done!?" asked Ichtaca. "We can never go back!" he said. Li chewed on his lip. "We have to... to save the people." he said. "It is already too late, the beasts are loose." said Ix. "WE HAVE TO TRY!" said Li. Nama simply shook his head. "You can... I am staying right here." The old man wandered off into the woods... then there was a scream. The trio stumbled back, and out of the darkness, holding Nama's body, appeared one of the hunters, the big one, holding Nama's severed head.

Runt, Primal, and Duke fought against the hard meat valiantly in the town square. The three of them had fought these beasts before. Runt blasted one with his Plasma Cannon, and Duke impaled one on his War Staff. Primal fended several off with his large Sword. "Let us fall back into the building!" yelled Duke, the highest ranking member. Primal replied by nodding, and the three of them, heavily outnumbered, backed up quickly, Runt fending off the oncoming waves with pot shots from his cannon. As they entered, the door wouldn't shut, and several entered and began pouring in. Primal primed his Wrist rocket and fired it at the door. The explosion killed all the hard meat and barricaded the door. Duke hit Primal across the face. "Arrogant fool! Now we're trapped in here!" he scolded. Runt backed up, a small Yautja with a small build, still towering over an Ooman male though. "You know what? You're going to find a way out, starting now! You, Unblood, help him!" yelled Duke to Runt and Primal. Primal reluctantly nodded. The duo set out into the hallway.

Primal heard footsteps behind him and turned to see Duke standing there. "I will come along and cover you." he said. Primal nodded and motioned for him to follow. As the trio set forth to the upper levels of the Pyramid to find a way out, they heard scurrying. The beasts were inside. Runt then caught one just as it jumped out of a crevice, it's acid blood splaying all over the wall behind him. As they continued further, now into the Sacrificial Chamber, more appeared out of hallways and corridors, they were surrounded.

Primal managed to leap out of the way just as one charged at him, slamming into a pillar. Primal hid behind it, dodging the tail strikes. Meanwhile, Duke took on three or four at once with his martial skills with a War Staff, slicing one's head off and another in half. Runt ducked behind a Pillar as one of the beasts tackled him over one of the slabs, he had gotten up, and now as the creature searched for him, he drew one of his arm integrated blades. It slid out slowly from its resting place as it neared him, and then, right as it rounded the corner, Runt rammed the blade into the Creature's skull, killing it. As soon as the dozen or so creature's were killed, as Primal finished snapping the neck of the one he had been wrestling, the trio joined up in the center of the chamber.

"We must be able to get out of here." said Runt. Primal nodded. "Now everyone form up, follow my lead, we will be able to get out through the Birthright Chambers..." said Duke. The trio ran through several more chambers.

~~~~
~~~~

The Egg Chamber was quiet, all except for the oozing of the Queen's Egg Sack and the rippling of freshly laid eggs. One of the Drones approached the Queen. She hissed and he knew three Hunters were still loose in the Pyramid. The Drone then thought of a plan. He gathered his brothers together. They were going to set up an ambush in the Hunters' Birthright Chambers.

~~~~
~~~~

As the trio approached the weapon's rack... it was empty. Upon removal of weapons from this rack the Alien Containment Cells would open, these were specifically for hunting. "CJIT!" Yelled Duke, throwing his Staff onto the ground... and then pausing before picking it up. "When I find the Oomans who did this... I WILL HAVE THEIR HEAD!" yelled Primal. As he said this, he was tackled from behind by a hard meat, followed by roughly half a dozen more. Runt managed to blast two with his Cannon, and Duke took out two with his Staff, and Primal, out of sheer brute strength, smashed the Hard Meat into the wall, before impaling it with his sword. They regrouped. There was one missing. Then Runt screamed as green blood blossomed all over the room. Primal whirled around to see the tail of one of the creatures was jammed through him, and he was lifted into the air by the creature. It then head-bit him and threw him half-way across the room. Duke roared and the beast tackled him. They went tumbling down the Pyramid. Primal went after it.

As they hit the bottom, the Alien got on top of Duke and slammed him into the wall. It was much stronger than him. It then slammed him into the wall again, his mask fell off. He roared and rammed his Wristblades into the Alien's stomach. It squealed and tossed him into the opposite wall. It wasn't injured much, only mad. As it pulled his Wristblades out which had detached from his arm, it threw the gauntlet on the ground. They were obviously acid proof. It roared and tackled Duke, it's tail thrashing wildly. Duke roared and ejected his War Staff into the Alien's throat. The Alien squealed and was thrown off of him. Primal joined Duke just in time. Duke nodded and picked up the Wrist Blades, handing them to him. Primal bowed his head and latched them onto his wrist. He now had his own. Duke motioned for him to follow him into the woods.

~~~~
~~~~

The trio ran from the large hunter... they ran... right into two more. The other two Hunters uncloaked and picked them each up in one arm, roaring. "You are both going to die a slow, painful death." With one in each arm, the hunter carried them. They had dropped their weapons, and no matter how hard they hit, they were not strong enough. As they approached a Pyramid, one of the Hunters was tackled and mauled by one of the creatures. Li screamed as he saw this and as the Hunter dropped him and fired a strange rocket from its wrist, right at the creature. It was blown into several pieces. The Hunter growled in pleasure and picked Li back up.

~~~~
~~~~

"Drop him!" shouted Duke. "What?" "DROP THEM!" Primal dropped the two Oomans just as Duke was tackled by one of the creatures. "Run!" Primal proceeded to rip the creature off of him, but looked back to see more arriving just as it began to downpour... their silhouettes barely visible against the wet backdrop, but he could see them. Primal knew it was the only thing to do. He ran back to the Pyramid.

Li saw the demon-like beast and got up and ran for the nearest tree. He managed to get out of the reach of it's jaws just as it leapt at him, scurrying up the tree and looking back down. The demon circled the tree like a hungry animal, growling and snarling, its mouth still dripping with the green blood of it's kill. Li did not think he was ever getting down. Just as he was about to give up hope, he saw Ix out of the corner of his eye moving. He looked over to see him holding the cannon of the dead hunter. He fired it with amazing accuracy, the shot blowing the demon beast to bits. Li climbed down. "How did you work that strange weapon?" he asked. "I... just... pointed and aimed... like a bow... without a string." he said with a smile. He dropped the weapon and Li helped Ichtaca to his feet. The trio sprinted to the Pyramid for shelter, Li could see out of the corner of his eye that the Hunters were having a hard time holding back the demons. They entered the Pyramid.

~~~~
~~~~

The Yautja and Xenomorphs were evenly matched. The Xenomorphs would die by about seven per minute, the Yautja would die by about seven per minute. One particular Xenomorph had so far killed several dozen Yautja without flaw. And a War Yautja had killed about the same. This Yautja and several others were holding the line with the Plasma Cannons, as were the rest of them. They held back, firing away with their Plasma Cannons, the creatures dropping with each direct hit, and the Yautja dropping with each attack. War Yautja backpedaled, firing his Plasma Cannon. One got too close and he then drew his War Staff and impaled it. A Yautja leapt at the Lead Xenomorph, which then impaled the Yautja out of thin air, lifting it up into the air and then flinging it off of it's tail. Then with one swift backhand it sent another flying. The Yautja and even fellow Aliens were literally stunned at this Alien's prowess. Then a plasma bolt when flying through the air, just missing the Stunner alien, hitting another. Stunner roared and pounced the Predator, ripping his head off, and the fight quickened again as blood littered the battle field.

~~~~
~~~~

Li could think of no other way. Wait for the hunter ship to arrive. They followed the large Hunter deep into the Pyramid, following him up the levels, listening in on his conversation, Ichtaca translating. "I will wait on the top of the Pyramid, understood my lord." The hunter stopped talking, he was obviously using some form of mental communication. As they remained out of site the hunter arrived on the top of the Pyramid. Sure enough, the massive cruiser appeared in the night sky, lowering it self onto the Pyramid. As they approached, the Hunter spotted them and fired his cannon at them, only out of his arm. It almost hit him, but he ducked out of the way, but by the time he had gotten back up, the ship was gone. It was too late, they were going to die down here. Li refused to go down without a fight. As the last and final defense of Hunters was crushed, the final three retreated up the Pyramid, followed by swarms upon swarms of the demons, too many to count, swarms stretching as far as he could see, out beyond the outer reaches of the massive city. As one of the final three predators fell, Li grabbed his weapon and stabbed one of the demons. Ichtaca swung with his sword and Ix fired away with his bow. Their struggles were in vain as the final hunter fell, he tapped something on his wrist. Li looked over to see his arm glow bright... and then... there was nothing...

\\Chapter 19

As Zimmer placed the strange stone into the indention a large hidden door opened up in the floor. They looked down to see a lift ascending. The lift took them down to a Security Checkpoint. Connors was the first out. He looked around, his rifle held tight. Nothing but mangled bodies. The idiots thought they could have contained the lifeforms, they were wrong.

Static came over Zimmer's radio. "Command, this is Alpha, over." "Alpha this is General Reznor, both enemy teams are inside the complex, keep your guard up, over." Zimmer clipped the radio to his belt and they pressed on. As they passed more dead bodies some of the marines began to look ill. "Ugh, I think I'm gonna puke." Gillian said with enthusiasm. "Man, whatever happened here I think we missed it." "Just stay frosty and stay alert, Williams." Zimmer said with a stern undertone. Connors was strangely unbothered by it. As they continued through Zimmer got some more radio static. "Yes, this Alpha, Command..." Silence. "Command... do you read... do you read?" Then the voice of Colonel Ajax came over the radio. "Hey, Alpha Two, long time no... sound." he said. Zimmer smiled in disgust. "You son of a bitch, you corrupted them." he said. "No." Ajax retorted. "They were moved by Yutani's influence... you can't stop him, one of his deadliest specimens is loose, and there is nothing you can do to stop it." Then there was silence. Roars echoed throughout the facility. They moved on. "Okay." said Ambrose Connors. "We're going to split into two teams, Alpha 1 and Alpha 2. We're going to do sweeps, search for survivors, clues, anything that can help us solve what is going on here." he said. Zimmer nodded. "Sergeant Zimmer, Corporal Lissome, with me. Private Williams, Corporal Gillian, and Sergeant Walcott, you will investigate Med Lab Level 9, two floors down from here, you will radio in and give me a status update every fifteen minutes, you got that?" They didn't reply. Connors knew they would. "Okay, move out, remember Alpha 2, every 15 minutes." The two teams split up. Alpha 1 traveled down the main corridor to Operations, they could probably find Head of Coordination Offices from there, which means finding Yutani, and/or Weyland. As they continued the bodies began to disappear. "Looks like the nasties haven't hit this part of the facility yet." said Zimmer. Connors reluctantly nodded. They continued until they hit a sign saying 'OPERATIONS - >', they turned left at this, continuing down a side passage until coming to a bloody lobby, along with a collapsed balcony. They continued deeper in, past the initiation counter, coming up to the large entrance with 'OPERATIONS' written across it. They exchanged glances and entered.

Alpha 2 came up on what appeared to be some form of secreted resin. It was hard and dry, hot, to the touch. Williams yanked his hand away in pain. "Okay keep it together roughnecks, form up in a line, Williams, what're you doing back there, get your ass in the front!" Walcott barked. Williams saluted and rushed to the front, pumping his Shotgun once for reassurance. Gillian was in the back, gripping her M60 tightly. They continued through the resin encased hallway until they came up on portions of it that were cleared out. Once in Med Labs, Level 9, it had the stench of not death, but something else. Gillian entered a door and almost screamed. "Oh my god." was all she managed to say. "What is it? What?" asked Walcott as the other two joined her. They were staring into a room, and on the opposite side of it was a pane of glass, over looking an entire wall of cages, and inside were... monsters. They were screeching and writhing around, eager to get out. Walcott's breath caught in his mouth. "Oh... um... okay, if they're in there... then... what is out here... doing all of this...?" Walcott asked quietly.

~~~~
~~~~

Ghost and Dragon moved through the corridors quietly, following the scent of the soft and hard meat. Dragon clicked his mandibles and motioned towards the resin. A Hard Meat was here. The two Yautja continued deeper into the complex, the humans had been here, Dragon knew it. As they approached Med Lab Level 8, Dragon heard voices... Ooman voices. Dragon activated his cloaking device and Ghost followed suit...

The two Yautja proceeded into the vent shafts, creeping low, making no noise, as silent as death itself. Dragon could see the Oomans; two males and a child-maker, holding the largest weapon there. She would make the worthiest kill. As Dragon prepared to drop down onto them, Ghost held his shoulder, making a motion to the leader of the group, the smaller of the two males. Why would they make the smaller inferior ones leaders? This is what puzzled Dragon. He merely chucked to himself. In his eyes the female was the worthiest skull. He waited until they entered the next room and dropped down

Alpha 2 made their way deeper into the complex, exploring all of the view stations. What could have killed all of these people? Then the trio whirled around as they heard a loud crash and clanging. "Nothing, loose piping... let's just keep moving." said Walcott. As they entered the elevator lobby one of the lights beeped green. Williams stopped dead in his tracks and activated the flashlight on his weapon, turned around slowly, as did the others. As the door opened... it revealed nothing. "There's something in this place... and I don't like it..." said Williams. Walcott sighed and agreed. "Keep moving." They then proceeded down a main corridor... this is when they heard the roaring.

"Okay, what was that?" asked Williams. They heard it again... closer. Walcott hesitated then said, "Go... now!" The trio sprinted down a side corridor to come to a locked door. "Get it open! Come on!" "It won't" "Oh shit..." Gillian was turned around, her rifle raised. The other two turned around and got out their weapons as well. Standing there, between them, and the exit, was a hulking monstrosity. It stood easily nine feet with digitigrade legs, a long tail, and skin as black as midnight. It has a long banana shaped head, and no visible eyes, save razor sharp teeth. "What are you waiting for? Make that sucka dead!" yelled Williams. Walcott was about to open fire when he realized the door it was infront of read 'Toxic! Gas Mask Required!" and it had a window embedded in it. "Don't shoot... it's infront of toxic waste containment!" They were trapped. The creature approached... then one of the floor grates moved... yet nothing was there. The creature turned it's head... hissing.

The beast turned full tail around... approaching the noise... then... out of nowhere, it was thrown to the ground by invisible force. The trio took this opportunity to make a run for it. Walcott and Gillian got past, but Williams was grabbed and picked up into the air, by... nothing. Gillian screamed and Walcott got out his pistol, conversing ammo. He fired a few shots into mid-air, and hit something.

~~~~
~~~~

Dragon's Cloaking systems were damaged. He roared and threw the human aside, ejecting his Wrist Blades. He roared and then approached slowly, forcing them to back up slowly. Ghost was handling the strange hard meat, so he could take care of that whilst Dragon collected his trophies. "Run... when I say run... just... run away..." Dragon recorded the words "just... run away.", and then brought his weapon down at them, missing by mere inches. The duo backpedaled, firing their weapons at him, missing every shot as he bounded gracefully off the walls and floor after them. They exited the corridor and ran through several rooms, until he lost them again.

~~~~
~~~~

Williams got up and shook his head, grabbing his W1200 Shotgun and sprinting down the corridor, fastest running back on his team in high school, and went for a side door. When it didn't open, he kicked it in, revealing a set of stairs. He heard clinging on the upper levels and ran down the stairs to the lower level, turning around and firing at the door with his shotgun. The creature appeared, massive with large spikes protruding from what appeared to be a helmet. It roared and chased after him. It leapt and he juked, running down another side passage, and leaping up into the cieling vents. The beast roared in anger, but Williams was safe for now.

~~~~
~~~~

Gillian and Walcott had managed to escape, but they could still hear it, clomping around on top. "Down here..." said Walcott, motioning to a vent shaft. They walked for several minutes before jumping down into what appeared to be an operating theater. Inside... was one of the creatures. It was large, with clammy brown skin and sharp talons. It had thick mandibles protruding from it's face and large yellow eyes, it's most prominent feature being thick dread locks. It gurgled. Walcott could see it had a large scar on its chest. These sick scientists had taken something out of this body. There was bright green biolumenescent blood everywhere. Then... it spoke in human tongue. "K... kill m... me."

"Kill me..." it repeated. "Kill... me... kill me..." Walcott couldn't stand to see the creature suffer any longer. He inhaled sharply and reloaded his pistol, holding it to the creature's forehead. "In it's eyes were shame, disgrace, maybe even self-pity. "Free me..." it said. Walcott nodded, and then swallowed. The gun felt heavy in his hand, but he managed. His finger squeezed the trigger and the gun kicked, pushing a bullet deep into the creature's skull. The green blood blossomed all over the back of the tube, reeking of decay and death. Gillian was silent. He put the gun back in its place and motioned to the door. "Let's get going before another one of those things come and finds this, but let's hope to god one of those... monsters... doesn't show up either.

\\Chapter 20

The duo had entered the small room and reviewed the security camera history.

>>0900. Fight in the Mess Hall. What appeared to be... Cages containing the Alien, Serpent creatures that him and Zimmer had encountered back on the mountain, were seen being observed by a tall Asian man with thick and stern features. They exchanged glances. "Yutani." was all Connors had to say. These sick-bastards were containing the things. Connors felt the rage building up. They went back to viewing the record history.

>>1200. Another fight. They were seeing what appeared to be hosts, captured humans in what appeared to be more of the strange cryotubes, with.... eggs inside of them... "These fuckers can go to hell." said Connors, slamming his fist down on the table as he watched the hosts being face hugged. They skipped ahead to see one of the cages... the creatures were fighting, killing one another... then he realized one of them was larger, more aggressive. It killed the smaller 'warriors' and broke free. It had to be loose in the facility.

>>2300. Ambrose gasped. He saw Yutani looking at a gallery full of Alien Queens, piled high in massive cages, their eggs being shipped out to the countless captured humans being held captive, hundreds upon hundreds. If this base was compromised... they would run free. Their world... Earth... would be dominated by these creatures. "We have to find Alpha 2. We're calling in a nuke, destroy the entire site." said Ambrose. He got on the radio to try to connect with Alpha 2. Nothing. They looked at one another and exited operations.

~~~~
~~~~

Williams dropped into what appeared to be a long hallway leading to several cell blocks up ahead. He approached them and they read 01 - 99, 100 - 199, 200 - 299. Williams saw numerous more down the hallway. He approached 399 - 400 and it opened. He entered the door to find himself in a large cylindrical chamber. However, as the door closed behind him, he heard the roaring again. He turned to exit... but there it was... the creature was right there. He turned to run out via the ladder, grabbing on and beginning to ascend. However, the creature was right behind him. He managed to get halfway up, before the creature grabbed onto his foot. "Get off my foot freak!" It shook his foot trying to shake him off the ladder. "Ah! Get off me! Help! Help!" Then... it happened, he felt the tail being jabbed through his sternum, his own organs falling onto the floor below. He screamed and then with one swift movement he was yanked off of the ladder, and then splattered on the ground below. The creature roared, loudly, it echoed throughout the facility. Ghost... who had been pursuing Williams, heard this, and drew his blades.

Connors, Lissome, and Zimmer heard the screams as they exited. "Zimmer, call in for a bombing run, Lissome, come with me, all of us will rendezvous at the Cell Blocks." The two of them sprinted off to the lower levels, going straight for the central lift. However, as they were getting there, the doors began closing, and inside was a hunter. It's mask reminded Ambrose of an Asian dragon design. It purred as it saw them sprinting, arriving just as the doors closed. Connors banged his fist on the door. "Dammit!" said Lissome. Connors looked left and right. "There's another Elevator lobby at the other end of this junction."

~~~~
Ghost arrived to see Dragon. He growled in relief that it wasn't the strange hard meat. Dragon, on the other hand, was beginning to become weary of this Yautja slowing him down. He activated his wrist blades and jabbed the blades into the gut of the Yautja. Ghost roared as Dragon withdrew his blades and fire a shot of his plasma cannon right into Ghost's face, blowing it into bits. Dragon roared and clomped down the hallway. As he neared the generator room, he was tackled from the side by the hard meat. He was sent flying through the wall into the room.
The beast roared and slashed its tail at him. Dragon fired off pot shots from his Plasma Cannon as the creature leapt up onto the walls and dodged his shots, landing on the catwalk beneath him and then spitting acid on his armor. Dragon roared and fired more shots, however, he missed again and hit the generator instead... the lights went out. When the emergency backup lights began flickering. Dragon whirled around... the creature was not there. He only got glimpses of the room, then was momentarily surrounded by darkness. He heard roars, echoing through out the facility... then he knew what he had done... he had just endangered the entire planet. Now that the power was out... so was the security system. There may have been a backup lighting system, but there was no backup security system.
Dragon held his breath as he heard a dripping noise... right next to his feet. He looked down... glimpse of light... glimpse of light... nothing... nothing he could see... but then... he caught a glimpse of a glossy structure... something was there... then he saw it... the hard meat... it was right next to him. He was dead... he knew it. He then felt the tail pierce his chest. He screamed in pain as he felt himself being lifted up off the ground. The creature then looked him in the face, roaring. With one quick swipe it knocked his mask off. Dragon looked the beast right back. He roared, and then he played back, "just... run away." He then fired his Plasma Cannon at the generator's energy core. That did it, the core began to go haywire, beams of energy looping outwards and destroying several parts of them room, then slicing both Dragon and the creature in half, and then... all was silent and calm. Both the Alien and the Predator just stood there. The Alien's mouth twitched and then a yellow line appeared across the Alien's face, and a green one across the Predator's midsection. Then, like that, the two fell into several pieces, the acid quickly eating through and destroying the catwalk.
As Lissome and Connors got to the elevator lobby, they both bumped into Walcott and Gillian, and the power went out at the same time. It was then that they heard roaring. Connors' face lit up with fear. "We need to get out of here now!" he yelled to Zimmer. The two teams then met up for the first time in what seemed like days and sprinted to the central elevator. "How long?" asked Connors. "T-Minus Thirty Minutes!" he yelled. However, as they got to the lift... a voice came over their radio chatter... Yutani's.
Everything was going according to planned. He thought with glee as he sipped his wine. He figured he would try out his new little technique. He picked up his headset, and began hacking into the signal. He heard static, and held down the return button. "What is the rush, little soldiers? Don't you want to meet the rest of the family?" he asked. He awaited a reply. "You can't play God, what you have contained here is a detriment to all life on Earth." Yutani remembered the voice belonged to Ambrose Byron Connor. Yutani smiled. "We have ordered an air strike on your location, if you want out, you will join us and you will be turned into the United Nations..." - Yutani cut him off. "You would dare raise your blade to me? I have you know... there are serious consequences for you actions..." Yutani said as he stood up from his desk and exited the office, looking at a personal cell built into the back wall. Inside... was No.1-101836... the perfect combination of Yautja and Xenomorph DNA, the perfect soldier. He had personally implanted some Yautja DNA into the developing Alien embryo. It was definitely Xenomorph dominant because that is what the original creature was, however, the Alien's DNA Reflex did not take hair and mandible, or skin information from it's host for that matter. Sure it was eyeless like all the others, but it had the hair reminiscent of a Yautja protruding from it's dome, and speckled grey skin, as well as the outer mandibles of the creature. It roared. "Consequences... keep making up excuses, but we're getting out of here." Connors replied. "Oh... well see about that..." with that, Yutani hung up, and approached his sword, "Kage Ryu Ken".
He felt the black saber slowly. It had been handcrafted by "Oda Gin" back in Feudal Japan, one of the greatest sword smiths that ever lived. Along with it... Yutani added his own personal little touch... Yautja material, making it the strongest man-made blade in the world. He smiled, and then picked it up off the wall, and walked over to his desk, opening a small port on the front, and a large red button appeared before him. He held his hand over it... but then he heard a familiar voice. "Don't do it..."
Yutani looked over to see Weyland arrive out of the shadows. He smiled. "Welcome old friend, care for some sweet sweet alcohol? Or how about a smoke?" Weyland just walked over to his sword case, smashed it in, and grabbed out his Wakizashi, "Kuro Blade" and then smashed it on the floor, it shattering into several pieces. Yutani looked at what he had done. "Now, if you're going to act like a child, I will treat you like one..." Weyland just walked over to him and looked him dead in the eye. "Enough of your bullshit, now, you have no jurisdiction over me and as of this moment, your whole little 'operation' is being shut down." he said. Yutani made a fake sad face. "Now, let's not be a party pooper." Weyland inhaled sharply, and then his face went cold. "You let the things out..." Yutani shook his head. "No... one of the Yautja did. I was planning on it anyway. Yutani went for the button but Weyland held his arm. "You can't kill them." Yutani smiled, and then with one quick move jabbed his sword through Weyland's stomach. He jammed it further into him, and leaned in and whispered, "You are relieved of duty, Mister Weyland." He then withdrew the sword and pulled out a hidden pistol, aiming it at Weyland's head, and firing a few rounds into it. "May you rest in peace, old friend." he said, grabbing his sheath and strapping it on, sheathing the sword. He pressed the button.
The cage opened. At last... Six was free. He bellowed a noise that sounded like a hiss crossed with a clicking noise. He was free. He climbed out of the cage, and began searching for prey...
\\Chapter 21
As the five of them neared the central lift it began to ascend. "No... NO!" Connors turned to Lissome and Gillian. "Okay, you two up first." He cupped his hand giving the two of them leverage. Then Walcott followed suit and then Zimmer. As Connors was about to get up, the door began to close. "No! AMBROSE!" Yelled Gillian. Connors was forced to let go. He dropped to the floor as the gate slammed shut. He was trapped down here. He got on the radio soon after getting up off the floor. "Zimmer? This is Connors. Continue with the bomb strike." "What?" "Just do it, don't worry about me I'll find a way out." Connors hung up.
He traversed the base, going to the only place left he knew... docking bay. On the logs in Operations, it said they were working on a Space Craft, "The Charles Manson", using reverse engineering from a captured Yautja Space Craft, however, the logs dated back in 2006. The things Connors read about Yutani were frightening and horrific. He had actually inserted Yautja blood into his veins and was now over one hundred years old, yet appeared in his forties. He had been working on this project, the Containment of the Xenomorphs, the experiments... there was one however, that he couldn't see. PROJECT: LOST CHAPTER - FUSION. It had something to do with DNA, and the research he knew it.
He thought about all of this as he neared the docking bay. Unfortunately, he had to cut through Operations to get there. As he did, he spotted one of the creatures feeding on a corpse. He didn't have the kind of firepower to take one of them down, so he waited until it was gone. He ran to Operations and shut the door behind him and continued through the hallways to what appeared to be an office with a large chestnut desk. On the floor was a dead body lying in a pool of blood face down. As he turned the body over... he leapt back in shock. It was Charles Weyland. He looked to the wall to see all kinds of swords. Both Human and... not so human, he even saw the end of a Xenomorph Tail... but then he saw something else. A large blade, easily the length of his arm, and was an exotic silvery color. It was not human, it was Yautja. He could tell by the markings on the blade. He grabbed it and looked back at Weyland. "I shall avenge you." he said quietly. He then sprinted out of the room, into the docking bay control room.
Outside in the main bay was the massive ship... The Manson. Connors stared at it for a moment, until he felt a hard hit in the back of the head. He saw a flash of white. His blade went sliding across the floor. "So... you thought you could raise your blade to me and be without consequences, didn't you?" said a voice from the darkness. He then felt a kick to his stomach and looked to see Yutani standing over him, a large black Nodachi pointed at him. "I have succeeded in bringing back the realization of God, as he died in the hearts of Man so many years ago." Connors coughed up blood. "You're insane." He said through gurgles. "No." then the large man picked Connors up and lifted him into the air with one arm. "I am the future." Connors then spat in his face and kicked him hard in the gut. Yutani stumbled backwards and Connors landed on the ground hard on his side. He managed to scramble to his feet and grab the sword, rolling out of the way as Yutani brought his down inches away from where he was. Connors kicked him and stood up, bringing his blade in for a side swing, as Yutani successfully blocked it. The two swords locked each other in a spray of sparks. Connors was highly inexperienced with a blade, and succeeded by dodging most of his blows, or taking a couple of nicks on the arms or legs. He screamed as he got a deep one on his back. "So pathetic." said Yutani. He then jammed his sword right through Connor's midsection. His breath caught in his mouth and he opened his mouth, yet nothing came out. He then managed to scream loudly. Yutani withdrew his sword and pulled out his Pistol, as Connors sat on his knees, holding his stomach, blood everywhere. Then Connors smiled. Yutani was puzzled, but he then smiled as well. "Why do you smile? You're about to die!" he laughed. Ambrose laughed as well. "So are you..." Yutani's smile faded quicker than a dirt devil. He turned around slowly, and standing there, was a hulking 8' tall Alien. It roared and rammed it's inner jaw into his face, green blood went everywhere. It dropped Yutani and by the time it had turned around, Connors was gone.
~~~~

~~~~
Connors climbed quickly down the latter and felt cold water surround his legs all the way up to his waist. He shivered as he felt the water soak in and the creature's roars from above. He continued through the water filled room, shivering as he did so. He docking bay was right above him... just right above him. He had to get there, he must not even have five minutes left. He got about halfway before he felt ripples in the water. He then looked back and almost screamed. A massive black shape was swimming quickly towards him. He turned around and backpedaled, firing his weapon into the water, however the bullets did not have any effect on the creature. He got to the ladder just as the creature exited the water... but this was no ordinary monster.
It was an Abomination. It roared and spat acid at him. It got all over his external body suit and he quickly shed his gear. He began to ascend, but the creature was right behind him. He would climb, lean back, shoot, climb, lead back, shoot, and repeat. The bullets harmlessly ricocheted off of the beast's skull, but he managed to stay atleast ten rungs above the beast at all times. As he got to the top, he dropped the large fifty pound bag onto the creature's head. It was not affected. He used this time to enter the ship and prepare the launch sequence. It was weird indeed, almost like a space craft out of the sci-fi movies. As he did this... he heard a clanging noise as the creature clawed at the door. He quickly pulled up the schematics. The ship was divided into two parts, flight and engine. The clanging stopped and he heard a loud boom. In an emergency the rear half could be blown off and the emergency engines could run for five hours, WARNING: Make sure all personnel are clear of the transition checkpoint. He then heard hissing and clicking at the same time. He turned around to see the "Pred Alien" standing there, drooling. It roared and approached, but Connors acted quick and shut the transition gate. The door was atleast six feet thick, there was no way it was getting through. However, the door began to bend inward, the thing was amazingly strong. He started the emergency process, and as soon as all E-Engines read 100, he opened the 'Purge All' control. "Get back to where you belong." he then hit it, and he was jolted forward in his seat.
~~~~

~~~~
The creature rammed into the door repeatedly, growling. It just wanted food, it had to eat... eat... EAT! Then, the creature stepped back, confused. The large round shapes on either side of the door began to glow read. It cocked its head and stood there, but then began ramming the door again. Then, suddenly, the round orifices lit up, and brilliant beams of fire and light were projected from them as the ship blasted away from it's aft section, obliterating anything behind it. The creature was ultimately destroyed.
~~~~

~~~~
Connors flew the ship as far away from the site as he could, flying high over the deserts, flying until the engines began to run dry, then the ship began to loose altitude, and it then crashed in the middle of the desert. No bombs came... no bombs fell. There were no bombing runs. The creatures had managed to escape from the base... and now... they were loose. There was no natural enemies, no containment facilities. The Hunters had left... and now... all there was... was prey...
Over the next several months, the United Nations tried to keep the widespreading infestation a secret, as to avoid global terror of the coming apocalypse or doomsday, or something similar. Many attempts were made to find the Queen, the Egg-Layer, and end it, but failure after failure only spelled out the expiration date of our planet, and mankind. With WY still functioning, the situation only worsened. Soon, the allied governments of our world, knew, that eventually, the world would find out, so they began taking precautions... but on the day of December 21st... something happened... and we knew... it was already too late.
<Somewhere in the deserts of Africa... Circa, 2000 - 2020 A.D.>
Military choppers, vehicles, civilians, airplanes, crowds of thousands upon thousands of people were gathering to mar the spectacle that had appeared on this bright African day. The Military had fenced off the area, to prevent civilians from entering. What was happening today, would be the turning point in human history.
As crowds gathered around at roughly eleven AM a massive, what appears to be a "space craft" has appeared roughly four-hundred meters above a desert plateau. It would appear as though the answer to the question, "Are we all alone in this universe?" has just been answered... and the answer is no. The weatherman stated as Zimmer watched the television inside their tent. He was eating a tuna sandwich when General Michael Reznor came in. Lieutenant Zimmer stood up and saluted. "At east ell tee." he said. Zimmer sat back down and motioned for him to sit next to him. Reznor held up a hand. The man was burly but short, roughly five-seven, five-eight, and had thick black hair and green eyes. "I was just coming in to tell you that... we're having a bit of a situation here... at the gates." Zimmer sighed and grabbed his M16. He appeared at the gate where several soldiers were holding back the gate. Zimmer pointed his rifle in the air and fired several rounds. "The area has been quarantined and only authorized personnel are allowed to enter, any trespassers will be shot, in the head." he said. As the crowd was tamed for a second chaos broke out yet again.
Zimmer knew the few soldiers couldn't hold the gate much longer. He passed Sergeant Gillian on his way to the radio tent to voice for reinforcements, he stopped her. "Sarge, I need you to go help the soldiers hold back the gates." She saluted and just as Zimmer got to the tent, the gates burst open, crowds of people running. As soon as the Marines opened fire, it was too late. The people holding up "We Come in Peace" signs or "Welcome Visitors" neared the plateau. Zimmer knew something bad was about to happen. Sure enough, as they did this... little streams of light could be seen radiating out from the ship... Zimmer was stunned, and Reznor exited the tent with a horrified look on his expression. Zimmer's horror was realized when the streaks became dots... they were enemy attack aircraft.
"It would appear as though the visitors have deployed... aircraft." The Weatherman stated yet again on the TV. "GET DOWN!" Zimmer fell to the ground as the ships, quick as lighting darted by, dropping large bombs onto the base camp. Several of the tents were decimated, as were dozens of civilians and soldiers. Zimmer darted to the tent and got on the radio. "This is Defense Base C-9 US, I repeat we are under siege, and we need air support ASAP!" Zimmer managed to get out of the tent just as it was obliterated by an explosion. He was thrown to the ground.
The Air Base got the message and began loading up F-22 Raptors. "And we are airborne." said the lead flight man. As the squadron neared the base, they broke off into attack pattern, a dog fight was imminent. The alien crafts were so much faster than the feeble human aircraft, that they were obliterated in under five minutes, all six of the interceptors. With this... the ships returned back to the Mothership.
Zimmer couldn't believe what he had just seen. He stumbled back to the remains of the tent. In the background a radio could be heard. "This is a sad... sad day for mankind... but it would appear our extraterrestrial neighbors are hostile..."
At the U.N. headquarters, Security Council Member of the U.S., one of the P5 Nations in the U.N. George Charles, took his seat at the large "C" shaped table. The President of the U.N.S.C., John Rice, took his seat as well, shuffling a stack of papers. He took a deep breath and looked each of the members in the eye, not a good sign. Charles knew why he was here. "As you may know," Rice began. "we have been called here today, to discuss, the fiasco with the "recent events". He hesitated before beginning again, "I do not know how much longer we can keep this from the International public, the World knows of their existence, we might as well tell them of the worldwide epidemic quickly sweeping the globe." They nodded. "I suggest we hold a General Assembly to announce your decision Mr. Rice." said Alice Fisher, SC Member of the U.K. Rice hesitated again. He could tell he was scared, they all were. "I agree." Charles said after swallowing really hard lump in his throat. "I am aware that this will cause global terror, but... the infestation has already claimed four countries." Whispers then rippled throughout the chamber.
Rice was a man of native African and Indian descent, possibly of Native American Descent as well, with graying hair. "Well, I guess this council meeting is dismissed, I guess all we can do now is pray..." As the others were leaving, Charles caught Rice before he left. "Sir, I uh... when is the meeting." He asked. The man's eyes were distant, sad. "The only available spot is a month from now." Charles' breath caught in his throat. "A month!?. With all due respect sir... but this..."- Rice interrupted him -"I can't do this, a Month, that is the best I can do..." with that Rice exited the room, leaving a frightened and seemingly hopeless George Charles standing there, dumbfounded.
The swarms of thousands upon thousands of Xenomorphs sweeped across the country at astonishing rates. Their larva impregnating villages, towns, even cities at a time, within days hundreds more would appear, and obliterate city after city, one by one. Their dozenth hive had just about been formed, the first thing the multiple Queens did was begin slaughtering each other, in the end only one survived... their Archangel. She had been trapped down there for centuries, in that little cage, and now she was free and now had her hive set up miles beneath the Earth's surface, producing more Queens than ever. Now, with the numbers of Alien Queens increasing, and the Alien numbers numbering in the tens of thousands, it would only be a matter of time before they outnumbered mankind ten to one...
Zimmer gazed up at the ship, it was now an image of death and destruction. They had successfully re-built the military camp, and were now constructing their fifth building, new recruits were shipping out for basic everyday, and they were beginning to get on his nerves. It was his fifth week, and still no word about Connors. This is two months now... two months, and he was still nowhere to be found. If he was wandering around out there in the desert, he would be dead by now. Zimmer had pretty much given up hope. He now decided to wait, wait and see what happened. He hoped these things would just leave their planet alone already... just leave it alone. However, Zimmer had his own skeletons in his closet, staring back at him, threatening to get him back for what he had done... he had probably spelled doom for his entire race. They say keeping secrets is bad, but is it really so bad when the secrets themselves are bad? He intended to keep them from escaping his lips ever.
He felt a cold clammy hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Sergeant Lissome. He was a small brawny fella now, not so skinny or small as we has half a year ago. He nodded and Lissome set down. "So still no word on Ambrose, huh?" Zimmer nodded. Lissome rested his elbows on his knees and cupped his hands, holding his head up. He could tell Joseph Paul Lissome didn't give a rat's ass about him, in fact, he'd seemed quiet happy. He disgusted Zimmer. He gazed upon the new recruits doing their rounds. "Looks like they're back, for good this time." Zimmer followed Lissome's gaze to the ship, which hadn't moved an inch. "Why did you call off the bombing run?" asked Lissome as loudly as ever. Zimmer just about back-handed the man, but refrained from doing it. "I did it for Con... " he sighed. "Ambrose. Now would you go... I dunno do something?" Lissome stood up. "I won't tell anybody." Zimmer could've killed him during their flight home... but he decided against it... he was beginning to regret his decision.
<3.5 Months Earlier>
The space craft lay smoking in the middle of the desert. The sun was down, and it was night, the sand still smoking hot from the sun, even though it was almost 4 AM. The space craft's door was open, and inside, it was empty, however, footprints could be seen leading away from the ship, off into the horizon.
Connors had been walking for days. He didn't know how much longer he could go on his canteen and rations. He only had a few left. He couldn't give up... he couldn't. He had to press on. He traveled for several more hours... traveled until his legs gave out on him... until the sun came up... until he lay face down in the sand. He passed out several times... waking up several times... sometimes he could have sworn he was flying... or... being carried... by angels... yes... angels... he had died, and now... he could see lights passing by. He was on some sort of gurney, or stretcher... was he dead? He looked at the blurry white figures... they were doctors in lab coats... he was saved, he was at a hospital, he was going to be okay. No, he wasn't. One of them turned to look at him, and he realized they didn't have eyes, or nose, or a face, they just had that... horrible elongated head with teeth and claws, yet they continued to press onward. He passed out again, and awoke again on a surgical table.
He had scar tissue... was he really that bad off? They really had to perform surgery? He vaguely remembered people standing around him... looking at him... they, had injected him with something... some sort of... ah he didn't know, it was all too blurry. He swung his feet onto the cold floor. A doctor passed by him. He noticed he was wearing scrubs. "Doctor? Where is my equipment?" he asked. The Doctor turned. "Oh... secured... here, wear this..." He nodded and entered the bathroom. He slipped on the single pair of jeans, shirt and socks and shoes. As he smoothed it out with his hands, they happened to brush past to, all too familiar initials... W.Y... His breath caught in his mouth and he stumbled back up against the door, holding his head, an awful sensation rushing through his veins, something all too alien to him, the feeling, it was so alien... the word... alien... it was also familiar... alien. Images flooded his mind with visions of people being ripped apart, not just people, animals, strange bizarre creatures being ripped apart, and impregnated. He held his chest and screamed. He saw the hunters and aliens fighting, he saw a millinia of combat and conflict, echoing throughout the darkest reaches of the galaxy, of the universe. He then felt a needle being embedded into him, and then darkness consumed him.
<Present Day>
Zimmer paced through the facility. Not knowing what to do with himself. He decided they would go searching for Connors, yet he had been waiting from confirmation from the General for nearly five hours now, he was getting restless. He decided to get some shut eye. He went down the main corridor and hung a left down a side passage, then down another hallway to a office, and then back into a small room with a bed, nightstand, and dresser, and another door which was wide open, projecting a beam of light across the bed, was against the right wall, leading to a small bed. Zimmer plopped down onto the bed, not even bothering to take off his uniform. All his muscles relaxed, and he felt himself drift into a comatose state. Within five minutes of his head hitting the pillow he was asleep
~~~~

~~~~
Zimmer awoke around 15 hours later to a loud rapping noise. He realized it was somebody knocking. He climbed out of bed, fixing his uniform, and went through the office to the door. He opened it, expecting it to be one of the food delivery services... only to find, fortunately, the general standing there. They saluted. "I thought you would never answer Lieutenant, it's been hell trying to get in touch with you... the damn aliens are somehow jamming our communications, can't reach anyone on the outside... anyway, I have some bad news, the Captain has been captured by a rogue corporation." Zimmer felt his breath form a lump in his throat. "Captured?" "Yes, we're sending in a rescue team, I want you spearheading this operation Lieutenant." Zimmer nodded. "I will be there sir." Reznor motioned for him to follow. "I need to show you something." He followed the lightly built man to his office at the other end of the block. He entered the office, his home away from home, and Reznor immediately went to the computer and brought up mission logs, future ones. "I have the coordinates..." He stepped out of the way to allow Zimmer to take a look. "Their underground base is just 1.5 miles south of here, they've been right under our nose this entire time." He said, pointing out the square perimeter, the massive thermal outline of the hunter ship being the largest shape on the screen. Zimmer saw the smaller heat reading exactly 1.45 miles below them, a small square, possibly a lightly armed village. "We depart in a few hours I assume?" Reznor nodded. "You should go ahead and get ready, I am sending Sergeants Walcott, Gillian and Lissome to assist you, along with several of our newer recruits to prefer supporting fire." he added as Zimmer was leaving.
//Chapter 23
Connors felt as though he was loosing his mind. They were keeping him locked in this tiny cell, performing surgeries and experiments on him. He banged on the glass, screaming, tearing at his skull. He wanted out, he needed out. They were barely feeding him, and he was subject to constant abuse by the large, burly guards. He couldn't even defend himself because he was tied up in this 'straight-jacket' type thing most of the time outside of his cell. He just sat in the corner and drooled, squeezing his knees, and curling up in a fetal position. His scars and bruises would heal... his mind would not. He felt inhuman, so alien... so alien. The part of him that was human, the blood had stopped pumping... and has thus begun to decay. He had already died, he was now in hell... it couldn't get much worse than this.
The DNA samples were sufficient. Number 1-101837 was doing well this evening. Freeman chuckled as he inserted the orange vials into their container, putting them on ice. Ajax told little Ambrose not to fuck with them, he had been warned, now he would receive his punishment. Freeman nodded to Cornwall as he passed him in the hall, the clipboard tucked underneath his arm as he made his way to Clone Storage. He entered the decontamination chamber and stood still as the laser scanned him. As he exited the chamber and into the room he nodded to the guard, smiling, entering 17-27. As he entered he saw the five large pods each containing a fully grown, fully matured clone of Doctor Kotetsu Yutani. He typed in his pass code and the tube was lowered onto the throne, out of it slid Yutani, now fully awake.
"That was rather painful, and... unpleasant. Freeman smiled. "I have your clothes waiting for you in the decontamination chamber." Yutani smiled. "Thank you, you have served me better than Weyland ever did. Freeman smiled back. "I will leave you to your duties then sir..." - "No, wait..." Freeman stopped in his tracks and turned back around. Yutani's eyes were closed. He was having another vision. Flashes ran by his mind, giving him signs of the future. "I see... UN... forces, inbound on our position." His eyes flickered open. "I want the political and militaristic forces assembled and organized immediately... I will not have the swine inside my base!" He yelled. Freeman bowed. "Right away sir, remember, your clothing is waiting for you." With this Freeman exited Clone Storage. Yutani merely sighed and rose from his throne, disconnecting the wires protruding from him. He was bald right now, but his hair would be back to short length in a few hours. He decided he was going to keep his eyebrows shaved, how he hated how those things felt. He cringed and entered the detox chamber, acquiring his civilian clothing, and... a pair of dark shaded sunglasses. He smiled and put them on. They completely covered his eyes. He was content with his appearance as he exited.
Alpha 1 moved in first, followed by Alpha 2. "Alpha 2 maintain constant radio contact, I want you guys to get in and take out any hostiles with stealth first, get the ball rolling, Alpha 1 and I will come in after we've been spotted, until then, take out as many hostiles as you can, Alpha 1 will open fire when the enemy return fire on us, 1 out." Zimmer clipped his radio to his belt.
Lissome gave the okay to move in. He got out his M21, as did the others. He spotted several WY Infantry and Snipers positioned throughout the village. He took out two snipers and several of the others took out three. He managed to pick off three for four ground troops before they were alerted. Alpha 1 opened fire.
The enemy infantry were abundant. They were in a group of six, and there were atleast seven other men and women, firing at them. "For mankind!" they yelled, firing their weapons. Zimmer noticed a woman, possibly a squad leader, in the upper level of a building at the end of the main street, firing at them with a mounted SAW. "We've gotta take that bitch out! Alpha 2, I want you to hold your position, cover us from the rooftops... Alpha 1, you take up defensive positions and move up, if you see cover, take it! Now MOVE!" Zimmer took out a large man with a SAW and RPG, killing him before he could get off a shot with it. He took out another with an M60 and a few others with G3's were taken out. Zimmer spotted a sniper with an M21 like Lissome taking shots at them from above.
Lissome saw this man and couldn't believe his eyes. It was Watson, his training academy roommate. The bastard had ratted him out about his illegal stash of weapons. Looks like it was time for a little payback. Just as Watson noticed them, Lissome had already blown his brains out. Watson fell over dead and Lissome chuckled. "Clear!" Lissome yelled over the radio to Zimmer.
Why did he have to be so loud? Zimmer and the others moved up, avoiding the hail of bullets from the machine gun, which nearly ripped through one of their men. "We build better worlds!" the gunner yelled. Zimmer leaned out, looking down his ACOG scope. She had almost bleach blonde hair hanging down just below her ears. She didn't have a helmet! The stupid cunt didn't have a helmet! Ha! Zimmer immediately leaned back behind the large metal shilling and turned on his radio. "Sarge, I want you take out the idiot on the gun, aim for the head, she's not wearing a helmet." He waited for a reply. "Understood." the radio crackled. Soon, the firing stopped. Zimmer leaned out to see the bitch was gone, possibly lying on the floor of the upper level in a puddle of her own blood. He exhaled. "Okay, move out!" Zimmer was highly amused by this, their formation had been so poor, that they had managed to take out a dozen or so guys, mostly former members of Omega and Delta, without loosing one of their men. Zimmer just shook his head as the two teams regrouped. Reznor came over the radio. "Successful approach?" he asked. "Yep." "Okay good, now, there will be a low cut one story building, should be to the left of the crashed chopper, do you see it?" Zimmer looked for the carcass of a crashed chopper, and he then spotted it. He then looked slightly to the left and saw the small shack looking abomination. "Yessir!" "Okay, I want you to, when you go inside, look for a power switch, this is not a power switch at all, once you activate it, a door will open in the floor, and there will be two lifts, get on the one on the right, and it will take you down to the security checkpoint, be careful, unnatural things go on down there." he said. "Understood, Alpha out."
They arrived at the bottom of the elevator shaft. The dozen marines were on full alert. "Okay, everything goes according to planned, Alpha 2 will check Cell Block D through F, Alpha 1 will check Cell Block A through C, now move out!"
Alpha 1 arrived at their destination. In each of the cells were some strange creature, roughly humanoid in appearance, but they weren't like anything some of the others had seen. Zimmer knew what they were. Upon entering F, he went all the way to the last pair of cells, looked left. Nothing in F-4-B, then he looked over to F-4-A, and inside... was Ambrose.
He was curled up in a ball, in civilian clothing, a black shirt and jeans. Zimmer grabbed a C4 charge out of his backpack, placing it on the door. "Don't worry, we're getting you out of there buddy. STAND CLEAR!" He said to both Ambrose and the others. He back up and detonated the door. It exploded and as they entered, Ambrose had not flinched. He grabbed him and stood him up, putting his arm around his shoulder. "Okay, the others, I want you infront of me and the Captain." The six-man team now seven, formed up and made their way down the hallway.
As they re-entered the hallway, Ambrose put his hand on Zimmer's shoulder, and managed to utter a few words. "I... I can walk... I... can...fine." There was something wrong with him, he was pale and drooling, and in his eyes, were hate, utter and absolute blind rage. He let go and stood up, his nostrils flaring. "Give me a weapon... NOW!" One of the privates handed him an M9. "Follow me." And just like that he seemed fine. The other six followed him. Zimmer got out his radio and ordered Alpha 2 to meet them at the second junction.
As the two teams came to the second junction gunfire rang out. They took cover behind various shipping crates, equipment, and other junk littered about the room. The gunfire stopped and a familiar man walked up... it was Freeman. "You ready to give the good doctor back his experiment? Or am I going to have to evict him from you by force?" he said, his rifle shouldered. "The latter you rat faced piece of shit!" said one of the Privates. "Aw, then the hard way it is... I guess. Open fire!" Zimmer leaned out and took out a few, and then he looked back to see The Captain was gone. He looked around and saw him standing in the direct center of the room. "Captain!"
Connors' eyes fluttered open, and he screamed, a sound which sounded inhuman. One of the soldiers ran up to him with a knife drawn. Connors ducked under his blow and hit him right in the stomach. The soldier went flying back and slammed into the wall. He was blinded, he didn't even know what he was doing, he wasn't in control of his actions, he was fueled by emotion. Another of the soldiers opened fire, Connors then snapped back into reality, jumping over a crate and re-joining Zimmer's side. "You're going to get yourself killed." he said. "Just shoot." Connors replied, opening fire with his pistol, hitting one of them in the head. Soon the opposing team was destroyed, Freeman was nowhere in sight.
They recovered and regrouped. Zimmer got on a channel with the General. "Sir, this is Alpha, we've secured the Captain, we're returning to base, over." He turned off his radio, and then he noticed the others had their guns aimed behind him, he turned around to see... his heart stopped. Standing there, behind Connors, with a gun to his head, was Freeman. "Make one move and your little Captain gets a bullet through his skull." Zimmer just raised his hand. "I already know, you won't kill him." Freeman squinted his eyes. "What do you know? You don't know anything. I could kill him and get all the necessary ingredients to make a better, stronger warrior. Zimmer's face expression went blank. "What the hell are you talking about?" He asked. Freeman then smiled. "Oh you will find that there is more about Mr. Captain than you know." Zimmer could see Connors was starting to loose it. "Look, just let him go, you can come with us, and we will talk about this like civilized human beings should!" Freeman just shook his head. "Civilized human beings aren't." Connors then screamed and grabbed Freeman by his head, flipping him over his shoulder and onto the ground. He managed to get a shot off but missed. Connors still grunted none the less. He then leapt onto Freeman, almost like a 'pounce', landing on him with such force that he fell through the floor and down to the next level.
Freeman managed to get Connors around to break his fall. Connors screamed and got up, but Freeman fired at him. Connors yelled. Some of his ribs were broken and he now had a bullet in his shoulder. He shrugged off the pain and leapt onto Freeman again. "JUST DIE! I AM ABOVE YOU! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A FUCKING PARASITE!" Then Connors blacked out. Animal instinct took over. His teeth became fangs and he dug into Freeman's throat, and then passed out on the floor next to him.
\\Chapter 24
Ambrose Connors woke up in the infirmary in Military Outpost C9. He looked around, he was on a bed, and he swung his feet out and felt cold flooring. He was now in military clothing. As soon as he got up he cracked his neck and knuckles, and then he yawned really loudly. As he walked to the door he felt piercing pain in his side. His ribs must have been broken. He entered the hallway and alot of people looked at him like he was crazy, like he wasn't even human, a private even stopped him and hesitated, before saying with a hint of disgust, "...you've changed sir." He didn't like the way things were going. He decided to go to Zimmer's office to see what was going on. As he knocked, nobody answered. He opened the door to see the Lieutenant and General Reznor at the end of a discussion, about what, he was about to find out he felt. Zimmer sighed and merely shook his hand. "Thank you for your time." With that, he proceeded to the door, patting Connors on the shoulder as he went out. The door closed behind him and Connors was left alone with the general. "I've been needing to talk to you about... some things." he said. "Would you please have a seat?"
"So, what is this, have you evicted Zimmer and moved in?" Connors said sitting down. "No, and I will take kindly to that kind of talk." Connors just remained silent, before saying. "What is it you had to tell me?" Reznor shifted in his seat. "I've been observing your methods as of late, and... I don't particularly like them..." Connors just relaxed and listened. "You have... some problems, and I understand that being in solitary for so long could do... things... mentally to some people... and... I think it is best you be dismissed." Connors' breath caught in his mouth. The word echoed throughout his mind. "I... I'm sorry sir... but what?" Reznor sighed. "I think you should take some time to recollect your sanity." Connors stood up. "So now you're saying I'm insane!? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S FUCKING INSANE! AFTER ALL I'VE BEEN THROUGH, AFTER ALL I'VE CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR PEACEKEEPING CORPS YOU CAN'T JUST THROW OUT INTO THE FUCKING STREET LIKE THIS... IT IS SHIT LIKE THIS THAT MAKES PEOPLE INSANE! I HAVE FRIENDS HERE...!" He turned to see Zimmer standing at the doorway, along with Walcott and Gillian. "I... have family... for once again in my life." He added after a momentary silence. The General simply crossed his arms. "I'm sorry, I don't want to do this." Connors turned back to look at him. "A personnel transport vehicle is waiting for you outside. It will take you to the airport, and your plane leaves in three hours."
Connors stood looking at Zimmer outside in the blistering heat after he had given his hugs and goodbyes. Lissome wasn't there. He simply smiled at Zimmer and held out his hand. Zimmer took it and shook it. "It's been a pleasure to serve by you... all of you. You will always be remembered. And whenever I look up into the stars, I will think about you, my squad members, my brothers in arms, my family." He exhaled. And simply gave one finally wave and climbed into the back of the truck. In it were a dozen other men. He took his seat, and as the truck sped away, he could see out of the back of it his squad members standing there, they just stared at each other until they faded out of sight. He looked down at his gun, felt his marine armor, and knew this was the last time he would don it.
For the next few minutes the truck drove into the horizon, and then... he felt the pang of disturbance. Something was wrong... very wrong.
As they gathered the last of the training equipment and began to load it into the garage, one of the Privates noticed white streaks protruding from the alien ship, similar to the ones they saw earlier that week, only smaller and more of them. As they got closer and closer he tapped his drill sergeant on the shoulder. "Um... sir!" The sergeant looked at him with an annoyed expression and then followed his finger to where he was pointing, and gasped. Coming in their direction were hundreds of little 'pods'. "CLEAR THE AREA!" He yelled. As the work personnel scattered the pods smashed into the base, a rain of fire. As the noise subsided, the hundreds of marines positioned inside the base exited with their military equipment, looking out at the field of hundreds of alien structures. Then, one by one, they began to open.
Ambrose had leapt from the truck and ran top speed back the way he came, running non stop, until he came to the base. As he got closer, he saw gunfire and strange streaks coming from the predator ship. They were attacking.
As the pods opened, Zimmer raised his weapon. Out of one of the pods, stepped a different type of humanoid. Different mask, armor, holding a strange rifle, sleek in design. Everything about it was sleek and not so much tribal in appearance. Zimmer instantly knew these weren't the hunters he had fought... these were their soldiers, infantry, warriors. They had no dreads, possibly cut off for military reasons, and they seemed much better equipped. Soon, there were hundreds assembled in a legion. All lead by one in particularly dense armor. It roared and had what appeared to be a massive cannon integrated into it's arm. The marines had formed up and had their weapons ready. "DO NOT FIRE UNTIL THE ENEMY RETURNS FIRE ON US!" He yelled. As soon as he said this, the leader roared and raised his weapon into the air. And then, just like that the armies of the alien creatures opened fire with their rifle-like weapons. Flashes of plasma zipped through the air exchanged with the marines typical rat-ta-tat rapid fire from their assault rifles and machine guns. As more and more aliens and humans fell on both sides, the numbers from the mother ship just kept coming. More landed, and the numbers seemed infinite. For every Yautja that fell, another came in its place. Soon, it seemed imminent who would win. Zimmer hopelessly hid behind a Humvee as some of the shock troopers had switched to close quarters combat and had moved in for the kill, jumping like ten feet in the air and performing feats of such physical strength and agility it was awe inspiring. Zimmer then saw a form appear on a hill top. As he got a closer look, he realized who it was... Connors.
Connors ran down the hill, firing his weapon, taking down one of the Yautja. It roared and fell back, and then the fighting stopped. For a moment, there was quiet, and then... it started back up again. Connors leapt out of the way of explosive blasts from the leader's weapon. These hunters were different, weapons and armor-wise, from the ones he had encountered on the mountain. He saw one leap about ten feet and land on the hood of a Humvee, leaping down and flipping and twisting to avoid weapon-fire while firing his own shoulder mounted weapon, killing about three marines in the process. Another uppercutted a marine through the face with his wristknives. His men were getting butchered. He had to do something. He tossed a grenade into the fray. It blew up, blowing a dozen or more to pieces. After this, the marines began to use grenades more frequently. As of this moment they were doing anything to them that would kill them. Such as mounting machine guns, firing RPG's, even driving vehicles into the crowds, running them over. As the numbers of the Yautja Troopers began to thin, however, they sent in vehicles of their own...
