Damn Juggs, you've got your own little war going over here....I might have expected as much

I'm going to hit these issues one at a time.

1. Crediting Original Authors- I, for one think that this is something that should be done. Yes, this is the Internet, yes the Internet is a great source of free information, and while I don't think it is neccessary to credit someone, it is a nice gesture. As for some of the people who have posted in this thread whining about copyrights and plagiarism.....have you downloaded mp3's? That you don't the original album of? Are you now a hypocrite? Enough said....

2. Maturity- I don't know if any of you realized this or not, but Juggs here is pushing into his 30's. He likes to have a little fun from time to time, but as a general rule he is mature and is a very good senior mod over at http://www.gamer-networks.com I would like to say that I am a very good mod on the same forums, but I think that the measure of a mod is in the opinions of his users. I don't think anyone on TGN is a fascist, to quote avalon, but we don't condone flaming. Life is tough enough in the rw, why should we treat each other like crap on the internet? There are mods and users on my forums that I don't like as much as I perhaps should, but I maintain a professional relationship. I look at our rules and I enforce them. I will post something originally written down by Brevet Major William J. Worth in his Battalion Orders dated 22 Dec. 1820

Every time I am tempted to be immature and flame a user or do anything of the sort I just look at Major Worth's words which I have posted on my desk, and I am reminded of what a true officer and gentleman is. (I went to a military academy, just in case you were wondering). Anyways, if everyone is mature, the world will be a much better place. You don't even really have to be mature in the rw, just act that way on the internet and things will be alot smoother.

3. TGN v. BattleForums- I have no opinion on this matter and I don't really think any of you should either. I personally think that both forums have their pluses and minuses. Juggs is right, we have been around quite awhile. We hosted d2hackit, and we hosted mousepad for a bit as well. I personally am not too familiar with battleforums, but from what I have seen thus far I am impressed, with the exception of the actions of a few of your users, but I know that goes both ways....every forum has users and moderators who don't always have the best judgment or a big enough dose of no. 2 (see above).

4. Conclusion- Let's all just be friends. Juggs gets bored and he likes to play with immature people when he's bored. It really amuses the sh1t out of him, so the more you try to flame him the more he is going to enjoy it. If you don't play, he'll eventually stop And I will tell you now, wiser and better men than most of you have tried before to f@ck with Juggs and have failed....he is perhaps the most secure person I know. I, thankfully, am on a college campus and therefore don't have my own unique outside ip, so I at least think I'm secure, don't burst my bubble please I think that you guys are probably as tired of this as we are, and I can wholeheartedly say that I am sorry it happened. I wish that instead of getting regular users involved you might have done the wiser thing and pm'd one of our mods/sup. mods/admins and let us handle it behind the scenes. It would have saved alot of this strife. You noticed how once DarkBlade im'd me on AIM things started to get done? That's because you contacted a member of the staff, rather than going on the forums and posting a bunch of unintelligible censored expletives. I think we may have all learned a lesson from that. I don't want this one incident to have ruined any relationship that our forums have/might have in the future. Thanks for your time.

I don't want someone copying my info and putting it on some other site with NO credit whatsoever. To sum this situation up I would have to say it was a very big misunderstanding but your mod should know better than to copy shit off of some site without credit or consent?

Pamma, I don't see why you have to make such an utterly provocative statement. We are trying to defuse a conflict, yet you insist upon prolonging it. Please, follow the example set by some of your mature members and let it go. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail. If not, I foresee strife, because to be perfectly honest, someone such as yourself who makes what can only be called spam posts has not a chance in he11 of being able to verbally spar with Juggs, or myself. Not to say that I am particularly articulate, I just think that making a post with the single word of "word" is not going to cut it. Now, I don't know if you have or not, but I have read the rules of this forum. I saw, in emboldened letters, a rule specifically prohibiting that type of post. I believe the consequences of making such a post were a warning, or a temp/perm ban. Now, I'm not saying that any of these things should happen to you, but I do find it intensely amusing that so many of your BF brethren can have such a hard-on for the "rules" and yet ignore this offense, which they say in the rules, they will be enforcing particularly strictly. BF is a large community in itself and it won't be surprising if word spreads about this. For a senior moderator too, you show just about the least maturity I've ever seen. You scare me. Not really, why care about something that is free to distribute? Your just like how metallica was about them having there music put on napster awhile ago.. Crying over something so simple just because you want either money for it or credit, when shouldn need to ask for it. You earn credit / respect , your just straight demanding it, when you should not. Yes indeed i do like to screw around with people that so deserve it because they are poor manored or ignorant and dont understand. I have easly already defended the forum by myself and have yet to deface its reputation , nor have i flamed anybody directly here such as yall have been doing, mainly just indirectly. And what would be your point if word spread out about your forum members acting childish and flaming somebody over a mistake instead of taking it up with a senior mod / admin , which would of been more smiled upon if you did, but you did not. I dont see anywhere that i actually "flamed" anybody directly, such as you saying "i suck" , great insult btw.. I already explained to storm what happened with the 3 thread thing and already asked them to be deleted. And not really that much work for a mod, simply click "delete thread" option and presto, gone. I have already spoken with storm and some-what got to know him, he understands what the deal is and was quite mature about it unlike the people i have seen thus far. And what is your point exactly that i pissed off BFans? You started something by instantly flaming upon our forum when infact you could of been more mature about it to begin with and contacted somebody to deal with it in a orderly fashion..


I already deleted everything that was typed , and the information of whoever's that it was. So why continue to conflict upon this situation when it just leasts to nowhere? All you have to do is either close this or just admit that both parties were wrong upon how they did everything, i already did. RsEntity was wrong because he did not ask before hand, and yall were wrong about how you went about pointing it out by flaming / spaming in the threads.
