Diablo or Starcraft DS

July 18, 2005 - Blizzard's latest newsletter mailing, the Blizzard Insider, has requested input from recipients, gauging interest in the possibility of Diablo II on the Nintendo DS and PSP, as well as a version of Starcraft on the Nintendo DS.

The developer/publisher is clearly looking at reader responses before jumping into PSP and Nintendo DS development, and utilizing the strength of its own IPs for the potential first products on the portable systems.

Blizzard isn't new to the handheld scene -- the company had previously ported three of its Super NES classics, Blackthorne, Rock 'n Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings on the Game Boy Advance more than a year ago.

Think of what this could mean.

it would have to be online, its not fun at all single player, and you couldnt talk to each other either

likely they will use the DS built in WiFi, and the microphone could help immensly in games. Though I can't see myself screaming into my DS. People would stare.

starcraft would go perfectly with the ds cause so the touch screen, but the grafix would be kind of lame

Actualy, N64 pulled off the SC graphics quite well, and seeing as how the DS is a beefed up N64, you may see graphics that are just as good.

I've got to get myself a DS as well, i have an advance, but never thoguht i would need a DS, i guess that changes things. Finally bringing back SC... kind of. I still want ot see a sequel, but this will be good enough for now.

Yah about the Coustom map.....They could give u a game boy advanced cartrage that u could do the maps on or sumthin cuz ds can also take GBA cartrages
