What is up with the colored names?

Some names are dark blue...some are red...what's the deal with that? Are the blue ones Mods, and the red ones higher-up mods?

Lmao no you don't. Dark bluish is the mod color. Red is staff. Purple is elders. Yellow is leet (aka coolmission).

ive always wanted a colored name, like Az, and he isnt even a Mod of anything (your not, are you?) but since i change my theme of my ava and sig so much, my name/info color might really contradict the sig/ava i choose to use..anyways, Az has colored stuff because he is an attention whore, and we all know it

Or I have a colored name because I'm a mod -_- Colors are rank specific, you can't get them 'colored' unless you really have that position.

Actually, the purple is my colour x.x And Crot changed it to purple because Tweak paid him 5000 gil, with some donations from other members. XD Needless to say I love this colour.

For the non staff it is just people trying to be something more then they are, trying to stand out.

The reason they wont let people change their username color is generally because some users may try to impersonate a color of staff, and everyone having different colors will thus confuse the staff on who is and who isn't on it. Kitty, 3,500 of that 5,000 was from Mauh, just so you know.

I liked the Purple Color better, so I donated. I was also uncaring of the forums then, so I sold all my gear for the RPG and just donated it to TweaK.
