Did you guys hear about how the video game Watch Dogs accidentally exposed about 500 email addresses? It looks like they were trying to add some appeal to the game by sending out a game related announcement, but they CCd instead of BCCing and the list went to everyone.

Interesting post. However where did you get your source from that can make us believe this is true because I haven't heard that before. Also (assuming this is true) they made a simple and understandable mistake that will have consequences but to be honest their is really now way to take it back. What's the point in pounding them for it?

The source is in the link that I provided to Kotaku. I didn't think I was hammering them. I was just discussing the snafu that was made. It happens all the time, it was just amusing considering what the game is about.

Some how I doubt these are real emails (not that it matters if they are). I honestly believe this is some sort of publitcy run, especially considering the content of the game.
