Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness

In comparison to the previous TR game series, quite different since Lara is apparently running away from the police instead of making her way through the tombs.

Can't say anything about the character sound though since it gives me a fast forwarded voice whenever Lara first says something, then you can't hear anything at all. Too much lag...stupid pirated version! Guess it's the price I gotta pay for buying a crappy copy... Other than that, I'm finding the storyline and general required upgrades rather enjoyable so partially worth it at least.

Any thoughts and opinions?

I'd prefer other action games. This one is kinda poor for such a game with potential.

It's generally not as good as the other series of Tomb Raider if you're:
1. a hardcore Tomb Raider fan
2. looking for the original Tomb Raider style of playing (i.e. visiting tombs)

Don't really like it as much as I might have thought (then and again, I'm not much of an action person), but okay if you'd rather not see zombies that never seem to die.

If you do play Angel of Darkness though, I suggest that you borrow the game from friends who've already got the game, or wait for a big discount. Definitely not worth spending heaps of cash on this particular one, but do try The Chronicles or The Last Revelation.

I think I'll try those games as well. I've never even played one, but I've heard good things about them.

I haven't played it yet and I probably won't rent it anytime soon. I've only heard bad reviews for it...and with all the delays they put the game through you would think it would be a great game.

Yeah, I would suggest Last Revelation and Chronicles as I've said earlier. Other than the rather funny controls, Lara's seksi!

Lady Lara's looking better than ever. I think they used 5000 polygons on her or something... I'll have to check the site again... she's also on my desktop... or rather, was, since all these stupid pop-ups started popping up... even when I'm offline... left alone for an hour, and that PC gave me 54 porno pop-ups...
