anyone seen appleseed? i liked it, although it reeked of the matrix.

DBZ as a whole was never any good. It was far too predictable, and there were way to many plotholes. However, it did have some pretty cool fighting sequences and shit, back in the day.

Now I've graduated onto more ownageful anime, and I can't stand watching more than 5 minutes of DBZ. It was always the same thing;

X fights badguy. X beats badguy. Badguys boss/partner beats X. X gets pissed, starts yelling, and gets stronger. Someone close to X dies. X goes on a rampage and defeates the said boss/partner.

Fill in X with whatever character beats the last guy, and theres your plotline.
