well... fight between McAfee and Norton to me.

I know Norton detects spyware.. which McAfee doesn't, but Norton doesn't have the firewall..

I just install the 8.0 McAfee firewall alone and use Norton for my scanner and Auto-Protect. :)

LMFAO,

em excuse me, Nortan isn't that great. It updates slower then most anti-virus's and doesn't seem to get some trojans.

I would say:

KAV- Cost $
AVG- Free/$(Free edition still kicks ass)

Sorry, my highness. I do not get that many viruses, and Nortons good for me. But I will check out the others.

em, excuse me, but no. Updates slower? Look at the symantec website smartass, they make a new update about every 5 minutes(not kidding)

And no, they get every trojan if it's updated, along with spyware.

Fine don't believe a person that uses trojans as a hobby.

Don't call anyone a smart ass, I was just telling the truth. If you think your safe ,good for you, but remeber; A trojan itself can be detected by almost all anti-virus, its what you do to it to make it undetectable.

Bullguard's antivirus is the only one that has actually worked for me. It works very well. You can install a trial version of it with Kazaa. I've used Norton, Mcaffee, ZoneAlarm, and Bullguard--none of the others actually seemed to remove and prevent viruses from appearing on my computer.

why use any antivirus progz???
i just go inside and search for it if im notice something diffrent on my comp (all viruses make something u will notice someday).
just remove it yourself. and all autostart progz are very easy find so just look them upp and remove them. it is't that hard.

NAV works pretty good but slow ur comp 2 death, and after awhile it ****s upp ure compter totaly. it had dune that allmost evry time i used norton after a while.

Well if its a trojan you will maybe never notice it, I still get responses from trojans installed months and months ago.
