Stupid ass AVI files..

When I download .avi files, you know the ones you need DivX for, they give me that gay green choppy screen.

I downloaded XviD codec, which is what is needed, and I still get the stupid green screen.

I have downloaded like every codec I can find and none of em seem to work.

I have even tried getting codecs for WMP, it just doesn't work.

This is for multiple .avi files, not just one or two. Every one I get does this.

Help?

download DivX, not XviD.... two different codecs...

xvid is for mpeg-4 files, also you might wana just download realplayer as it is made for avi files.

I wouldn't use realplayer... just stick with basic Windows Medea Player 9, that has served me well since i upgraded...

jason.. www.divx.com download the CODEC there. that should fix it.

Uh, I downloaded Real Player 10 (newest version) and downloaded some anime, and went to play them and they gave me the damn green screen..

Wtf?
