Simple throwbarb question(s)

Is double throw worth maxing since it only adds AR? (may prove useful in hell.).

And, how much dexterity will i need? does dex increase throw dmg? if not, then do i add for str for dmg or use those points in vita?

(btw..using 2x gimmers)

hmm...if c9 was here he could tell you about that. I'd say yes, dex does affect throwing weapons in general. As for the AR, I'd say at least 10 points so you can have at least an 85% hit in hell (which is VERY nice for your types with no shield).

hmm.. imo, since u use gimmers, jus put str (item requirement) about 200~250 vit, and rest into dex (accuracy, +dmg i think).
heres skills to learn (IMO):
20 double swing
20 double throw
20 throw mastery
1 ~ 9 natural resistance
20 bo
20 shout
1 leap attack

gl with it, i dun think it will work well tho... =/

Strength = dmg. No more dex than needed. I suggest putting some in frenzy and axemastery also those might become VERY useful. Rest in vit. Enuff said? Double throw deservers a few, max double swing and throw mastery, bo and some in shout.

well thx for the help. i'll put it to use when i can actually make my barb. (friend stole all my gear in a transfer just now, how pleasent.).

Ahh.. but there are some exceptions to the str/dex rules. For instance, daggers' damage increases from both, so maybe its the same for throwing weaps?
