Question about metal/amx mod

well i want to host a server using a home pc wid cable connection, and i was wondering if i can do it.
i've tried download meta mod at the main site, but the zip file dont have an install option it has a bunch of non excacutable files like dll, txt, html etc....hmm wat should i do?

if anyone have an instuction on how to install or set up a mod to host a cs server plz show this nub. Or if u have a site that gives step by step tutorials, that would be great.

First, you gotta install Adminmod or AMXmod to use Metamod. Then, you install all the metamod plugins you want.

Second, you can host a server on your connection if you'd like. You'll want two computers unless you have a dual processor or a really fast computer, but with cable, depending on your speed and the time of day (because cable speeds fluctuate), you won't be able to host a ton of people.
