AOL released the new AIM version 5.5.3572 and it is PURE EVIL!

This new version kills DeadAIM, NO Tabbed IM Windows, NO Chat Logging, NO Trancparency, NO DeadAIM Options! Not even the damn About DeadAIM in the Help tab in the buddy window!

SO! If you have AIM and use DeadAIM and like it as much as i do, DO NOT download or install this POS upgrade!

if you have already made the mistake of DLin the new version and you want your DeadAIM back, goto that link and download one of the older versions of AIM and DeadAIM will work fine!

a lot of you guys are mistaking AIM with AOL...aim is just something that aol put out so that people with different isps can send messeges with guys from aol...so there is NOTHING wrong with aim, gaming or whatnot.

It's ok, I've had the beta for a long time, and there's plenty of ways to get around the DeadAIM blocking. But the games are fun.. oh sweet Powler Bowler.

Installing AIM has resulted in 4 unexpected restarts and laggy WC games for me.

Is chatting with people on AIM worth that? I don't know.....

lol, unless your computer really sucks ass, having aim on wouldn't make your computer restart or laggy.
