alright today my sister went to college only 1 class but sti

She was in comp. appliations

Heres what they tought her

how to use a mouse

how to use paint
how to make thigs bold,itallic,underlined and different colors in word

how to name folders

when the internet was built

how to make a smiley face in paint



and this is the 20th day she wass in this class


Thats proof that college is useless. feel free to talk about it.

Yes, it is probably a low end college. She should also be taking more challenging courses if she is too advanced. You only mentioned that one computer class, does that make it a blanket statement about all classes in all colleges?

That's probably the class they teach you to use Word, Powerpoint, Access, and Excel. It's required at my college b/c yes there are some pple who know nothing about computers...and believe me, I talk to them every day I had to take it my first semester in college. I never went to the class. I just emailed the work to the professor, took the tests online, and made an A...it was the easiest class ever.

Colleges are supposed to make you well rounded, but they have such specific majors that you cant take anything outside of it (your major). Kids come into the world knowing everything about somthing like, Computer networking or somthing, but no knowledge on how to interact with people, or run a buisness.

That sounds like a class i took my first year of highschool. it was supposed to be a buisness corse, but all we did was type out shit in word, and **** around in paint. they even disabled the internet.

One of the kids in my class couldn't turn the computer on. although i don't blame him, the computers we used are 20 years old. and the mice are retarded. schools are so wellfare.
