Need help with char editor

Please help - just downloaded Shadowmaster and when I try to edit a char I receive the following error message:

"While loading D2S File 'C:\ProgramFiles\Diabloii\save
la.de2'!
Received error Invalid D2S headers Section at Offset 0"


Anyone - please help.

i never have had that problem with shadow is your D2 patch 1.09d i do and i never run into a problem like that oh well and shadow is lod only cause it saves charcter as expansion

It was the D2 mpq file that was somehow screwed up, thanks.

how'd you fix it ?,,

I have the same problem too

Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to fix theproblem. I had to delte everything *including D and D2* and reinstall it all.
