My module

ok, I've been using starfish's making modules kit and I'm up to the part where I have to rename the dll file to d2h, but I only have files with extensions dsp,dsw, ncb, and opt. I'm pretty sure I did everything right and made a win32 dynamic link project or whatever. I tried renaming them all and putting them in d2h, but they wouldn't load.

ummm... ok did u compile the project?

and ur looking in the Debug folder... correct?

yes I compiled it, now I am looking in the debug folder, but there is nothing in there...

It should work, u sure ur not missing something painfully obvious. Thats usually the case with me.

this is confusing for me too, but i got it working

I was looking at my text file and it says test.cpp.txt, so that would mean that the file extension is just txt isn't it. How do I change that?

are there no errors on compilation?

No errors, it's because of the test.cpp.txt the file doesn't have a .cpp extension it has a .txt
