mine is 2.3 on windows xp with logitech mx500, i tried 4.5, 4.2, 3.5, 3.0, 2.5, 2.0, 2.2 and 2.3 and found it woriking best

I use 1.5, I started at 3.0,2.8,2.5,2.2,2.0,1.8 and finaly 1.5.

I think in-game mouse sensitivity is affected by desktop mouse sensitivity. I'm not sure of this, but I know someone in my house keeps changing the mouse sensitivity and every time that happens I have to change my in-game sensitivities. Right now, my in-game sensitivity is 4. I know it's high by most people's standards, but I prefer to be able to turn around quickly. I've messed around with different numbers, trying to gradually decrease it like you guys have, but I always turn out worse and worse.

i use like 16.4, lol. I got a pos mouse and computer, maybe that has smth to do with it, i also use 1024x768 resolution.

i can do a full turn without lifting my mouse so wtf i have 2.3 and i just move the mouse a little boom i look backwards and its stil precise

Values between 3 to 5 are comfortable for me though.

I use a sensitivity of 9.0. Most people use a low sensitivity (1.0-3.0) but I can't stand having to move my mouse half-across the desk to move the cursor. If you can "control" the cursor at a high sensitivity then it works great. And to answer Master_America, your Windows sensitivy DOES affect your in-game sensitivity.

I use 1.0 for my mouse sensitivity, with the Windows setting mous acceration turned off.
