Ok...I tried to decrease the res on my computer and accidentally increased it...my computer doesnt recognize the high res and whenever i boot it and it comes to my desktop its just a black screen...how do i fix this?

Wat did u did then?

Try safe mode to restore the thing u did.

It doesnt bring up the menu when i boot up...should i press f2 to enter setup to go into safe mode but i dont know...it pisses me off cuz thats the only computer i have Warcraft on...

... he means delete ur hdd and reinstall windows... all i can think right know is to get a cheap graphics card that supports the resolution.... i havnt ever heard of being able to put ur comp to a res that ur card wont do...

Hit F5 for Windows 98/ME, or F10 while Windows 2000/XP is loading.

Then select safe mode.

I went into safe mode and i cant figure out how to get the the res controls...can you do it in safe mode?

do u have a integrated video card on ur board?? if so, just plug ur monitor to that 1 and boot ur comp...and the res should reset to default...

Right-click desktop, Settings tab.

Don't worry if nothing happens, it's not meant to in Safe Mode. All it does is change your win.ini settings so it starts up in the correct resolution upon Normal startup.

I went into settings and theres nothing there about res and i dont know how to check for an integrated video card...and my bros the only one who knows and hes a stoner...

is there another place to put the monitor in the back of ur PC? it will be blue with a bunch of holes in it...

Theres no blue thing but theres a thing where my monitors cord hooks up and it looks like an outlet except with the prongs going out instead of bein inserted
