Help with no cd hack

on tuesday my comp started being weird and my cd-rom stopped reading everything, and its like my d:/ drive is totally gone. so anyways i have been trying the no cd hacks, but i havent got any to work! i still have d2 on my comp but i have tried like 5 of them and none with any luck. please any help would be great

I have tried them before too with no luck but I think you have to take the install.exe off of the cd and put it in the folder then redirect somthing in the regedit to that file. Anyways if I were you i would try re-installing your cd rom by going to add/romove hardware and go to remove than after that go back to it and hit add this time than re-install..

trust me man i have tried everything i think. i dont know much about comps but a few people have told me to do that. what i really need is someone who knows a lot about comps to do that remote administration thing where they like take over my comp. if anyone else has any more specific info, that would be nice
