Diablo 1 sprites

Why is that that everyone and their brother can tell me how to get "uuber-1337 ch@r@73r w17h r0xx0r1ng h@cked 17ems"(Yeah, I know most Diablo hackers don't talk like that, but it took me a while to do that, so I ain't changing it.), when no one has found out how to edit the sprites? I would just love to be able to play a normal game just with some different sprites. That ain't too much to ask, is it?

I was being sarcastic. The forum description said Hacks Downloads, Mods, and other stuff. I figured that Mods fit in there. But since its named Hacks and Download, I guess it doesn't.
