Comp causes eye cancer?

was reading this article bout this guy that got a tumor in his eye. They believe that it was due to his excessive computer use. I figure since comps are new we will prolly someday find that everyone gets eye cancer. Then we will become blind like moles

But its tru that u lose ur eye sight from staying on comp too long.. sometimes i get head ache (about 4 hrs playing on comp) or if im playing games with crappy graphics/xtreme graphics.. dunno why =/

Great, I'm already insane and want to kill everyone I see because I play violent games. Now I'm going to get eye cancer! I wouldn't believe to much that you read ;P. A source would be nice.

Monitors do give off alot of radation.

if you sit in a dark room for long periods at a time staring at a crc monitor it can cause eyeproblems, but so can the tv.

No but they do sell radation things for your monitor. Never bothered to buy one. The damage caused to your eyes by tv eventually heals.

That's true. Radiation emitted by monitors are potentially dangerous. However, you don't see a link between rate of cancer and amount of time spent on a computer, do you?
