I'm trying to run KOTOR, and I managed to install it. Now when I start it up, I an error message: SW KOTOR has caused an error in ATIo9xxx.dll. KOTOR will now close. I tried searching for it, but I couldn't find any info about this problem on Bioware, and google. I updated already, so it isn't that. Also, I failed I think between 25 and 50 percent of the system requirements. Will this mean the game indefinetly will not even run? The company splash screens seem smooth. I'm gonna post the Reqs here in relation to my computer. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to improve any of these problems; not the obvious ones (get a faster computer: DAMNIT I KNOW :)!).

Man your computer sucks. Here are the minium requirments

Minimum Requirments

System: 1 GHz CPU or equivalent
RAM:128 MB RAM
CD-ROM: 4X CD-ROM
Video Memory: 32 MB VRAM
Hard Drive Space: 4000 MB
DirectX: DirectX v9.0

The Recommended requirments

System: 1.6 GHz CPU or equivalent
RAM: 512 MB RAM
Video Memory: 128 MB VRAM
3D Sound Card: Yes

Your specs

AMD Duron(tm) Processor 751MHz

-Nope CPU can't even match minimum requirments

RAM 256

-First what kind? Second I would recommend going for another 256.

ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 7500 64 mb

-Goes ahead of minimum but not recommended

MAKE SURE YOU UPGRADE ALL DRIVERS but if that does not work....

I would recommend upgrading or getting a new computer.

Your best bet with installing a new processor is to find a friend who knows how to do it and have him walk you through it. If that's not possible, you might want to check your computer manufacturer's website for any possible walkthroughs. If that doesn't work, there are walkthroughs all over the internet. Try to find one with pictures.
