Xbox live help

k i have a problem. i just barely put xbox live on mabye a month ago so its still good. but i did it over at a friends house and i played and everything. but now that i have it at my house to try to get it to work it recognizes everything except xbox live...

it says xbox live is not responding retry later. then it goes to trubleshooting and starts to auto detect and fails at the very end at xbox live. what do i do? i dont know how to fix it. any suggestions?

Do you have DSL or Cable?

Does your friend have DSL or Cable?

we both have cable but it got it fixed... i called the internet company and they had to register it or somthing they said but they fixed it thanks though
