I thought this up while at school, ill write in the first few chapters, and then those of you that want to add SERIOUS chapters or a few paragraphs will be allowed, think of it as an RP without having to manange a specific character(yes, as long as you make good paragraphs..). If a mod could give me power in here for a little while, i would appreciate it(ordering the threads) also, make sure you start with a # to show what chapter you are starting after. Thanks

The year is january 2006. The new years was supposedly to bring a prediction of the end of the world by nostradamus, the naysayers were all over TV criticizing all the believers of the man that predicted the end of the world.
Alec Tristan is your average student. He obtains C grades in most of his classes, he works after most school days, and he does little to get by in both school and work. Even though Alec does the bear minimum in these two fields, he excells in his boyscouts group as well as his gaming circle. Its the morning and Alec is about to get a surprise...
It was the first day back to school, and Alec was getting ready to go to school after winter break. It had just snowed the night before and the streets were active with excitement. From snow blowers to kids playing out in the snow, but for Alec, it was cold. Too cold for his liking. He dressed as warmly as he could. Fitting on a sweater and jacket as well as longjohns and warm pants. After tieing his shoes, Alec grabbed the keys for his fathers pickup and drove off to school, stopping at a bagel shop for a plain bagel with cream cheese.
The school day started off slow. Alec had math, history, and english all in the morning, which meant he had to be alert all morning. His history teacher is half blind, which, after years of teaching, made him very onary. Already after his first hour, he had a detention for talking out of turn, but mainly because the teacher had a horrid vacation and word was that his wife divorced him and took the house, leaving him to find an apartment. Couldnt blame the man for being mad...
Hour three was Alec's english class. His teacher was out with pneumonia and the class had an intern as the substitute for the day. She was very young and just about all the men in the class watched her buttocks as she walked back and forth with lectures. Alec was, well, turned on by this woman. But it didnt really matter, something big was to happen durring the next passing period...
Passing period was bad, a girl in the class was watching Alec as he raped the teacher with his eyes, she noticed something else grow in the groinal regian of Alec's...which was quite ebrarrasing to try and shake off. The girl was in fact one of the popular cheerleader types, by the end of the day, the rest of the school would know of what he had thought, especially the intern.
As Alec walked to class, a bright light blasted in the sky. A brilliance of colors arc'd forth in a magnitude that matched that of the sun. The light then turned into a cylnder beam and flashed all around Alec. Sound and light flashed around him, and without much effort, lost conciousness.
It was probably more than a few hours untill Alec awoke. He dreamt while he was on the ground. He dreamed of flashing lights and chaos, as well as his flesh being ripped from his body...when he looked around him, the nightmare became a reality. The school was in flames, there were bodies of his classmates all around him, some were scortched, others had their skin ripped off their bodies...a sickening site. Alec called out a few times. Nothing responded except that of the crackle of the nearby buildings still burning. Alec dropped to his knees, knowing that everything, EVERYTHING was gone, forever...Alec wept.
For an hour, Alec wandered the school ground looking for someone, but found nothing. He looked up to the eastern hills, to his amazement, the were not that of snow white, but that of emerald green! Alec raced up the top of one of the small slopes, it was different...he glanced down on the valley that was his home, there was a small crater that was once his school, but all around it was an earth forign to his.
A crash shook Alec to the ground. The crater where the school stood collapsed and water came rushing up to the edges. The ruins where his school had once stood was gone. Nothing was left that he could remember of, he looked around the other side of the hill, nothing but wooldands for miles was all he could see. No more thriving megacities...just trees and water...Alec descided to travel to the woods, it was getting dark and it would be a good idea to find some sort of shelter, the skies had bulged with rainclouds and it looked as though it could rain.
Alec awoke from up inside a hollow part of a giant redwood. the tree he descided to sleep in to the sound of feet...feet running through the woods. It was a bipedal humanoid, Alec's boyscout skills told him this. The being was being chased by something else that alec couldnt make out. Suddenly, what he heard came into view. It was a young woman with long brown hair and an odd looking dress...a tunic from what he had read in the history books. The girl stopped under his tree for a breath when Alec saw what she was running from.
A plump pigman was chasing girl with an axe of sorts, he was followed by 2 other slimer pigmen. Suddenly, the twang of bow strings being plucked resounded out from around the alec's tree, several peircing the lead pigman. The other two grunted and stopped, noticing their leader fall, they descided to run away instead of pursue. Another pigman went down in another volly of arrows. The last pigman seemd like he was going to escape, but a well built man with brown hair chased the pigman down and drove spear right through its back. Alec was scared suddenly.
Alec could hear the girl yelling at the man, he seemed like he was her father or something like that because he slapped her cheek. Other men and a few woman came out of the brush, all dressed the same way. Eventually, alec saw them go south and he descided to jump down from his place of hiding to inspect the pigman.
As he went to inspect the axe, the pigman's eyes jolted open and he snarled at Alec. It rose to its feet and swung wildly at Alec. Alec evaded untill he was backed up against a tree, and as the pigman readied for a final blow, an arrow splattered through the right side of the pigman's head and knocked him down. A voice came out of the brush demanding something in a tongue Alec couldnt understand, in response, Alec cried out, "what going on!?" The voice came again, but this time, it came in a way that Alec could understand.
"Raise your hands foul one." Spoke the bowman, alec raised his hands to the demand. A man with a Bow came out of the brush, Alec noticed he had very odd shaped ears as well as young facial features, but before Alec could say anything, another knocked Alec unconsious. But one thing stuck up in his mind...Elfs...
