Uh they blizzard accidently slipped up in an interview and basically stated they WILL do a sc2 but its not in developement and wont happen for a while. .

it'd take at least a year and a half to make it, i doubt it'll be in 2007. Besides, SC is a cash cow, they'd announce it when they start.

Apparently the same source (related to the Korean publisher of SC, Hanbit) that leaked the Patch 1.12 information before it was announced also leaked the SC2 in 2007 info, so there's a good chance that it's real.

If that is true, that's only 2 years from now. That's not a lot of time, thus, they must be already in production. And if not yet, then they have for sure set up the story boards and units, and whatnot. Now for the programming.

My guess is that they plan on giving a date when they suspect they will finish sc2 in 2007, so my guess is that we dont see sc2 until late 09 to ealry 2010

If they "announce" a date, expect it about a year and a half later. I'd say fall 2008 or spring 2009 at best.
