Would my laptop be able to run all the aforementioned games? Out of curiousity of course.
Post your specs and pray to god your laptop is armed with an awesome cooling system.

Oh, it is Chris. The specs (I posted in tech):

2.01 ghz duel-core processor
1 GB DDR2 RAM
512 MB of NVIDIA (I'd need to look it up further but I'm too lazy to do so)

Improve the Processor sometime in the future with your manufacturer and you should be fine running games like Oblivion or C/C 3.

But since its an RTS game, the requirements shouldnt be too steep.
If it comes out this year, it would probably be 512 minimum and 1024 recommended.

Oblivion was a huge ass resource hog. So there you go.

So with a better processor I'd be able to run oblivion on it, too? Neat.

It also has a great cooling system. It never even heats up. Ever.

I don't know what mine does, but it's been on for about 6 days, and hasn't heated up. :D

Then again my video card is trippy, and I have lots of fans too. XD

Hmm... I should probably tell Dell that when they construct my laptop.

That I will use it for gaming/schoolwork and that it will probably be on for a while, as often as 6-11 hours per day.

Eh, I'd recommend buying anything from Dell. They're a pretty bad company.

I don't know where to find the information on it's cooling system, but my power adaptor heats faster than my laptop itself does!

actually if you compare dell and hp they both have their pros and cons. Basically dell is better for video card speed/processor which hp owns video card ram/ram. I notice that HP is a little cheaper too. id personally go with hp for any reason. If youre a hardcore gamer i recommend alienware and pay the bucks for the bits.

I don't mind sacrificing money for it.
