they still made games for it in japan till 2007
And if games were still being made for it, it's enough to tell you otherwise, instead of always thinking inside the box.
What i don't get is why the Dreamcast controllers have their wires facing towards you rather than the console itself. That just screams retarded.

Well, if you look at the whole design of the controller, they had the VMU slots at top, and there was 2 of them. Normally thats where the wire would go, but because of the way it was all set up, most of the chip was towards the bottom of the controller, so it stands to reason that the wire would be down there.
Not the best design for a controller, but the chord was pretty long anyway.
It never really got in the way in the end.
Then i must opt an 360 instead of ps3 hmmm
It really just comes down to choice.
