To tell you the truth I dont care what chars they make.Cuz diablo is a kick arse game.If they make the new one I will probably get addicted to it like I am on diablo 2 LOD

same here my dad tryed stoppin me by snappin my disks well im goin out to buy them from game tommorow 3 games for 20 quid il buy d2s and 1 d2 lod dat way il never run out =p

Yea here are some chars i thought up

And there should be Horses you can ride and kill things off of.

Theif:
Basic character class for magic find, sets some minor traps, and passive aggressive combat.

Skills:
Chance - increases the percentage of magic find.
Starts at 50% increase skill level adds +10% in magic find (Passive)

Lock Pick - Allows character to pick locked chests and increase chance of MF% in only locked chests
Starts at 10% increase skill level adds +2% in magic find

Coward - Plays helpless when attacked, lowering defense of attacker and attack rating
Starts at 5% increase skill level adds +5% to negative enemy stats

Possum - Redirects incoming attacks from enemies, by playing dead
Starts at 10% increase skill level adds 10% to redirection

Dodge - Same as Zon skill (Passive)

Avoid - Same as Zon skill (Passisve)

Grace - Adds stamina and run/walk speed
25% increase per level to stamina
5% faster run/walk per level

Billionare - Gold dropped from the dead in increased substantually
30% increase per level

Pillage - Chance to find added items on the bodies of the dead
Same as Find Item

Leech - Steals life and mana from the dead (Passive)
Same as Redemption

Creep - Stealth attack on enemies, lowering their defense, and attack damage
Starts at -10% increase skill level adds -2% to def & damage

Shadow Meld - Finds a shadow to hide and escape. Increase to Resistences, and enhances defence and damage
Same as Fade and combined with Sanctuary

Bodyguard - Creates a doppleganger of self to hide behind. This does no damage to enemies (much like decoy) but takes 25% of damage inflicted to add to character life.
Same as Decoy

Guile - A rare insanity of bravery overcomes the Thief, to the point where it attacks causing instant death to enemy or no damage at all
Starts at -1% increase skill level adds -1% to chance of instant death

Heads - adds random elemental damage to weapon
Same as enchant

Tails - adds life to character, and increases life and mana regeneration rate
Starts at 5% increase skill level adds 5% to life
Starts at 2% increase skill level adds 2% to reneration rate

Fear - Thief is frozen in fear from attackers. Increases defense and life but can not attack (passive)

Gamble - Uses up gold supply to take damage instead of character.
10 points of damage per 1 gold taken

Counterfiet
- Creates a magical weapon from anything in inventory screen of allied player or merchants

Pickpocket - Ability to steal gear from merchants without a fee
once per act or every 2 hours of game time

Con Artist - Talks enemies into switching sides. Increases their life and damage by 5% per level

Mousetrap - Sets a trap that attracks and freezes enemies.
Acts same as ice blast with dame damage in physical

Better Mousetrap - Set a trap with thorns that forces enemies to attack it and take self inflicted damage.
Same as Iron Madien Curse

Tetravise - A trap that does prismatic elemental damage.
Same as Poison Nova, Armageddon, Frozen Orb, Chain Lightning, and Lower Resist Curse

The Rack - Creates a trap that does magical damage (unblockable)
Damage same as Blessed Hammers skill

Why has no one mentioned female characters??!?? I think it would be pretty friggin awesome to keep the same character classes, but be able to choose whether you want male or female (with some exceptions).

A vampire, and not the Necro blood lord one, that clearly is not a vampire.

Non humanoid characters could be interesting, like warcraft.

Make a freakin' pirate

I personally would like to see a parrot-cooking, one-eyed (the other eye patched), swashbuckling, ice-cream eating, mustache twisting, salty, sailing sea dog pirate or pirate hooker (with a dirty whorish mouth) character class with a treasure chest for burrying or luring in monsters so you never have to go anywhere to grind exp, and also give him a cannon skill (with a midget with a pegged leg to manipulate the cannon), and also a parrot attack skill (for him to raise a blood-thirsty, eye-pecking ravenous parrot to attack from the high helm that is his shoulder) while also having a class specific item being the cumberbund or eye patch or possibly glass eye to upgrade the drunken stuper skill. There could also be a skill tree similar to the barbarians war cry, but instead it uses filthy language to crack on the monsters and minions bitches-for-mothers in orfder to decrease thier combat skills and sensibility in utrn making them turn on fellow minions, while at the same time the pirate need not carry potions for when he is in need of health he simply needs to summon a wench from town, also possibly being able to acquire class specific items such as a hook hand or claw hand with increased attack ratings, they would also be able to use feather (similar to rune or jewel) insertable into the hat to increase effects such as prostitute laying (which increases health and mana similar to battle orders). end text

I rekon a system akin to L2 would work.

Fundamental Classes -

Warrior - Basic class that is base of Knight, Mercenary, Barbarian

Sage - Basic class for Druid, Paladin

Apprentice - Basic class for Mage, Necromancer, Sorcerer

Rogue - Baseic class for Assassin, Thief

Hunter - Basic class for Amazon, Ranger

Reasoning: The way I think this way is because a base class would provide some funadamental requirements for like classes. (eg an Assassin wouldnt be all that much different from a Theif except a thief can break open locked items and perhaps has better defence then an assassin would)

Knight - Excellent Sword and Shield style fighter with proficency in plate (plate armours dont degrade as fast with a knight)

Mercenary - Specialises in Dual Wielding swords and axes. His movements are quick and somewhat deceptive. Highly skilled technical fighter

Barbarian - A powerhouse. Slower attack speeds with high damage output. Movements are quicker with lighter armour

Druid - At one with nature. Can summon multiple creatures, can have a perminate small pet (hawk, rat something along those line NOT FOR DMG but for stat boosting - like an aura but for himself) Also power over elemental earth.

Paladin - Plate wearing mace warrior. Has the power of the divine within him. Able to heal teammates. Paladins specialise in mace combat (bonus to mace fighting)

Mage (Men Only) - Master of Elemental Air and and wielder of the Divine light. Mages can use the power of air to force enemies backwards, propel objects and pull items to themselves. Able to chock enemies by cutting off their air they also are skilled in divine attack spells

Necromancer - Master of decay, they can tap into the lifestream and prevent and reanimate the dead. Also able to bring inanimate objects to life in the forms of golems and curse the constitution of their foes

Sorcerer (sorceress) - Masters of Fire, Water and Lightning. They can bend these deadly forces to their will

Assassin (Women Only)- Telepathic attackers the fight from the shadow. Able to swiftly work against an enemy, they work well with hit and run tactics. Only assassins may use punch daggers and like weapons. They lay mechanical totems that attack enemies that draw near

Theif - A support class, excelles in the use Kamas, Kukuris and other exotic blades. The only class that can unlock chests without keys as well as disarm traps. They may lay poisonous traps and exploding traps that deal tremendous damage to those that stand on them.

Amazon - Excels with the Spear, Javalin and Bow. Her skill with these weapons are unparralleled.

Ranger - Excellent tracker and loremaster. Only class able to identify item without scrolls. His skill with a bow is masterful (though not as good as the amazon) his bow technique is completely different. An excellent swordsmen and at later levels can dual wield (swords and dagers only). Also able to lay traps, that snare the enemy into a certain spot, catch on fire or impale the monster. Can summon a combat pet (not permanent)

so what do you guys think?

Possible Diablo 3 Char/Item Ideas/ Etc

I think that they should make the game as to which it has some of all the blizzard games... WoW settings(Gender/Characters/Choice of Weapon,Armor etc) StarCraft(Zerg/Zealot/n the other one cant remember) along with the same Diablo stuff(Necro/Sorc/Druid/Amazon/Pally/Barb) along with the Merc. Another idea of Char... would be the following:
- Warrior(Gun Handled Man)
- Angel
- Demons
- Ogers

I think they should allow the Druids to transform into many different animals instead of Wolf n Bear... Mayb a bat, eagle something other then a wolf or bear... also they should make the druid transform dead monsters into animals like dogs, wolves, foxes nething that has 4 legs n is agressive who will also listen to his master (of course)

All for nothin, they should make some side quests while doin reagular quests for the respectful act like in Grand Theft Auto. Also they should add more acts with more powerful creatures to fight.

The Secret Cow Level should be kept in the game but change a few things.
First of all, there should be more cows and more Cow King like cows but dont have the same cost for killing them(u cant create another cow level if u kill king) Thats another thing that has to go... if its a SCL u should be able to kill the king, collect his items and be able to remake another Cow Level. There should be a healing zone only for Characters becuase goin to Town to heal then comin back to a TP full of cows is worthless... then u have to leave, make a new game n start all over again...

The should make a bracelet section for the character along with new weapons(e.g. guns, sling shots) Also the potions section should include a potion that heals everything(health, mana, stamina, and durablility) i mean your wasting space with the health potions, mana potions, stamina potions and goin to town everytime your item durablility runs out. There should be more keys(not just 12 but more like 20 or 30) and the Stash size should increase everytime u gain 10 lvls.

On the levels note, there should be more then 99 levels and more difficulty modes. At least make the Char. level up to 1000 or something inbetween 100-1000. If they deside to do that, then add another difficulty mode that has only 100-200, 201-300, so on until 1000 to test the skills of the char. instead of pickin on those who are at lower level then they are.

There should be a way to travel that doesnt insist of just walkin/running... try adding a horse or donkey which would also make room for the merc, BUT still be treated as a regular char. like it should have health, armor, and die normally or by old age.

They should make more use of the gold instead of just repairing items, buying items, but be used to fuse items etc. Along wif fusing items, there should be a special area (like in WoW) where u can make certain items out of certain items, or make items out of the weapons, armor, rings, charms, bottles this n that what ever u have u can use to make an item.

Also they should be able to upgrade there weapon but still be able to keep the original states(like increase strenght by 5, or 50% more dmg to Demons) but add another state or add to the original ones.

If the game were like that it would be the single handed most best Blizzard Game, and PC game ever made...

Diablo should stick purely to the human race.

Diablo is about the struggle between heaven and hell while humans are caught in the middle.

However i like the idea about a pack mule. maybe if you could hire it like a mercenary, or ultimately buy it and give it basic commands (stay, follow, flee) then you could have an extra storage space.

Diablos timeline is long before guns, (blunderbuss or otherwise).

Druids... I think for fighting keep it bear or wolf, but maybe as a transport mode have a bat (fly over spaces etc) but bat mode should drain mana instead of having a timelimit. This would ensure that PvP against a druid wont mean you wont have a chance of catching up to it.

I still think it should be lvl 100 though (it would take FOREVER to lvl to 1000 and ultimately boring)

Doesnt the rejuvination potion give you all your stats back (excpet cancelling conditions)

Some interesting ideas, especially regarding being able to be good or evil. However, for the most part, I'm really glad none of you are in charge of adding content to the game. ;)

A gazillion classes makes the game overly complicated, and thus, not fun to play. Plus a pain in the ass for the developers to balance.

Good thinkin bout the bat draining mana... but how bout drain some of the health... mayb not 1000 lvls but at least a lil more then 100... its like ur guy lvls 100 than thats it! How bout for a druid move "EarthQuake"... tru bout the guns part... i dont know what i was thinkin bout sayin that
