Def & Off strat help

Ok so what chars do I mass then ? I mean archers are good for air def, and ground too.

stop MASSING stuff, that's it. Most of the times, a balaced army will own a army of only one kind of unit.
you army may have a tendence, but don't go MASS stuff, it's much easier to counter things in masses.

Have Ghouls ready to attack when you need to defend from enemy attacks. In hard mode, you will really need to micro and have some force going; for they send crazy amounts of units for you to destroy before they destroy you.

well in my opinion, massing units isnt bad, you just alter your strat and stuffs as the game goes on.

like for instant, I just make HD and keep massing hunts against orc, and when they start making air or towers, I just add in few arhcers and glaive throwers for teh win,

just dont mass like mad until the game's over, be prepare to change your strat, anytime...
