Corrupted mp3 file

I've got a warning like this.

This application has encountered a critical error:

The file data is corrupt.

Program: c:\warcraft iii\war3.exe
File: Sound\Music\mp3Music\Orc2.mp3

How do you fix this? Delete the file? How do you do it and will that affect my game?

that's because one of the music files is corrupted. (an orc music)
just disable music when there's an orc in the game(press ctrl-m)

Is there any way to delete this file and make the unit who makes this sound use another sound?

This mp3 file is inside a large mpq file. So reinstalling is the best solution, yet time-consuming.

There's a quicker way, but a little bit more complicated. Get an mpq editor, extract mp3 from an mpq on your war3 cd and put into the one on your hdd.

I dissuade copying over the whole mpq from cd to hdd. It would screw your installation up and you'd have reinstall anyway.

or ur just using old or AKA bad hacks like 1.10 hacks on 1.11

Oh yeah I just remembered. I used TFT 1.10 no cd crack on 1.11 because I can't find TFT 1.11 no cd crack in the sticky. Does ROC 1.11 no cd crack work on TFT 1.11?

Um.. I reinstalled it and found out that it's not my fault. The problem is from the cd. So I got a cd with a broken mp3 file. Anyone please give me a link to download Orc2.mp3 or maybe you can send me yours. My email is crimsonstreak@hotmail.com
